“About you? Why would you think like that?” I replied.

“You mentioned something about authority and everyone in the pack is aware only i and henry have the authority to do as we please without being questioned,” he said and I listened with rapt attention 

“And for your friend not to question the person or speak up it implies she’s scared or powerless to do and as you know only I and Henry can’t be questioned in the pack, that got me thinking I’m the perpetrator,” he said.

“Yes, only you and Henry can’t be questioned hence the reason for his actions on Joanna,” I said but of course to Alexa.

“No! I didn’t mean it that way, you both aren’t the only superior ones, some of us have superiors who aren’t you both” I said to him.

“Okay, that being the case I see why I could help, I only need information on who the person is, and trust me to swing into action immediately,” he said.

“I really can’t wait to lift it off her” I replied nodding my head.

“All I need right now is information!” He said in a high tone.

“That’s where the problem lies, I have no information whatsoever!” I said.

He took a deep breath, “Did she tell you about it and who the person is?” He asked.

“Yes, She did tell me what it is and I can’t reveal it nor the person in question” I replied.

“It’s not too much of a big deal, But I’m still figuring out how to help,” I said biting my lips.

“If you can tell me all about it, I’m certain I would stop the person this minute and get him or her banned from the pack for bullying,” he said.

“It’s not too much of a big deal, my friend and I will figure it out soon,” I said.

I thought of how to end the ongoing conversation, I knew if I continued I might end up revealing who it was out of rage.

“If you insist, but be sure to keep me updated,” Damon said.

“Yes, Alpha I will inform you the minute we come up with something” I replied.

“Alpha?” he said as he looked at me with a frown.

“Yes, Alpha?” I said teasingly.

He continued frowning until I apologized, “sorry, I meant Damon” I said smiling as he smiled in return.

Soon, my legs started to ache “Can we call it a day here Alph.. oh sorry Damon” I teased.

He smiled and started speaking “Oh sure, I was about to say that but I presumed you were still relishing the gentle wind”.

“I’d have loved to continue but my leg aches,” I said touching one of them.

“Sorry about that,” he said as we turned back and went in the direction of the mansion.

They were both silent as they walked home, after a few seconds Damon broke the silence “I could remember you said I could help earlier”.

“Hmm, Yes I did” I replied slowly.

“But how then? You still have refused to give me full details” he said with a very curious look.

“You can only help when my friend and I come up with a solution?” I explained.

“How can I help by then?” he asked.

“You promised to banish the person already” I replied smiling.

“oh that,” he said and laughed.

“But I’m sure you know you both have to be fast about it, come up with a solution before it’s too late” he added.

Damon’s last statement made me know I needed to speed up whatever it is I plan to do to help Joanna.

“Yes, Henry needs to be stopped as soon as possible” Alexia added.

“That’s all you would like me to know about your friend?” he asked after a brief moment of silence.

“No..., what else would you like to know?” I asked.

“Maybe her name at least” he replied.

I smiled as I thought of what to tell him, I sure couldn’t tell him it was Joanna, I was so certain he would walk up to her himself to demand answers to his questions.

“You wouldn’t tell me, would you?” he added.

“I’ll leave you to find out,” I said as I walked a bit faster.

“You’re giving me an assignment? That’s not fair” he said.

“It shouldn’t be too hard for you to find out,” I said while I was a few steps ahead of him.

“You’ve only made me curious!” He yelled.

“The last time I checked, being curious doesn’t kill” I replied as I turned back to look at him.

“I’ll be sure to carry out your assignment!” He said.

“Good!” I replied winking at him.

“You could at least wait for me,” he said as he ran to catch up with me.

I walked a bit faster as he ran but my legs soon started to ache more making me slow down.

He caught up with me as we started walking back together at the same pace.

We were both silent as we continued walking back home, I wondered what could be going through his mind, I also hoped I didn’t spill too much information while talking to him about Joanna.

As soon as we reached home, we walked into the compound, I was a few steps ahead of him, and he called my name “Have a wonderful night's rest” he shouted afterward.

I paused as smiled at him “You too” I replied.

We both went our separate ways, I was reminiscing on how our walk went when I passed by Joanna’s room, I thought to check on her and find out how she was fairing before heading to my room.

I knocked and waited patiently by the door for an answer, after a few minutes I got no reply, I knocked again and waited for an answer, I repeated the process for a while and got no answer.

“Henry!” I thought as I stormed in the direction of his room.
