KATHY

I was awakened by the loud noise coming from the door, as I wondered who it was and why they were there making such loud noise.

I had my head raised, with my eyes locked to the front door as I had my hair repacked.

I wasn't sure what exactly was to happen today, but knew something different was bound to occur.

I laid flat on the bed with my eyes locked to the ceiling, as all I could think about were all she had said.

Joanna.

Her sad voice played over and over again in my head, making me completely disturbed over what was to happen next to her.

I sighed dreamily as I had my head tossed from left to right feeling completely bothered with all she said.

I got up almost immediately when scenes where I had seen her going into his room resurfaced in my mind.

I sat right up from the road where I had slept all night, still feeling bothered over what was happening.

I walked over to the balcony staring out the gate and just as I did, I caught a glimpse of Damon by the garden standing all to himself.

I wasn't sure what exactly it was he was doing, but then again staring for so long made me realize it felt as though he was all alone.

I felt like I should go have a discussion with Damon about what's going on between Henry and Joana.

I was still having doubts if I should or if I shouldn't, because I was thinking about getting the full details of everything that transpired between them.

And I didn't know how Damon was gonna respond to everything I would say. Henry was actually his second in command, I feel that is why Henry keeps on doing what he actually does.

I decided to let Damon know what was going on. So I changed my top and opened the door to my room, walking out the door.

I had in mind to let Joana know that I was going to let Damon know what was going on because she confided in me and I wouldn't want to disrespect her privacy.

So I went down the stairs looking for her.

I went to the sitting room, dining room, kitchen and even over to the balcony from last night but she wasn't there.

I had wanted to ask a guard, but then again remembered guards were not expected to know about the whereabouts of the members of the team in the mansion.

Apparently the mansion was a place for all, but still didn't give them the right to know.

Walking over to the hallway leading to her room, I was hoping she was actually fine and perfectly okay.

On getting to her door, I knocked softly on her but still didn't get any response.

And just as I did for the second time, I could hear someone walking towards the door after which it was opened eventually.

Immediately, she had the door opened and then turned walking straight to the bed with her hands over her face.

"Joanna, are you good?” I asked feeling so

Concerned.

“Why haven't you left your room today? What exactly is the problem?” I said walking over to her bed.

“Is it because of what you told me?" I asked

And without a single word, she looked up at me and just then I found bruises on her face and then realized that apparently she had a black eye.

"What is going on?”

“Who did this to you?” I asked, holding on to her hand.

She stayed mute for a couple of minutes and just then she broke into tears.

I moved close to her, and then I could see the extent of the damage they had done to her.

“Look at me Joanna, who did this?,” I asked, staring at her.

I could tell from the look in her eyes, who it was exactly.

“Henry?” I asked aggressively.

The minute I did, she broke into tears falling over on my shoulder.

“When? How?” I asked curiously.

“I…” she stuttered.

“There was absolutely nothing I could do,” she said, breaking into tears.

“It was past 11pm last night, I heard a knock on my door, I went over to see who it was and surprisingly it turned out to be Henry,” she said.

“He walked in and sat on my bed, and then had a sober look on,” she added.

“I had felt a little bothered wondering why he looked that way and so I asked, but just when I did I realized he was in need of something different” she said.

I knew exactly what it was she had in mind to say, but then again I had wanted to hear her say it.

“The next thing I felt was his hand over my mouth pushing me on to the bed” She said as tears rolled down her cheeks.

I didn’t let her finish, before hugging and pulling her into myself.

“I feel used and not loved or cared for Kathy!!” She cried out.

“I tried fighting him off for the very first time, but…”

“He got furious and was beginning to be aggressive,” she added.

“How did you get those bruises?” I asked, standing up to my feet.

“He…”

“He did this!!”

“Henry did all of this!!” She cried out holding my hand.

I felt so bad, hearing how hurt she was over what she was going through.

“He is going to pay for all of what he has done to you” I said with so much confidence like I was in total control of everything happening.

I stared out her window, lost in my little thoughts on how to get the so-called Beta of the pack trapped in his action.

“I’m going to get you out of this!” I said rubbing my fingers on her back.

“I know it’s going to be sort of hard, but eventually I will,” I said, still looking out the window.

Mark my words!!!…
