“Get out!!” I yelled as I had my hands covering my chest.

He paused by the door smiling, staring down at my boobs.

“My bad!” he said taking his eyes off as he walked in.

I walked back into the bathroom, as I had the door closed.

I had my hand to the sink staring at the mirrir in front of me.

“I will be downstairs if you need me” he said teasingly as I heard his footsteps walking away.

A couple of seconds afterwards, I heard the door close as his steps were sort of fading away.

“He’s gone” I exhaled as I had my eyes closed feeling so embarrassed over what had just happened a couple of minutes ago.

Pervert!!… I cursed under my breath.

I gently had the door opened walking out of the bathroom right after I had peeped through wanting to confirm whether or not he was out.

I walked over to the closet as I had my towel wrapped around my chest, not wanting any of what had just happened to repeat itself.

I smiled at the tray of food by the shelf beside my bed.

I went over to the closet as I hurriedly got dressed, walking back to the bed I grabbed the bowl of oatmeal in front of me as I munched on it.

And just as I was carried away with my oatmeal, I heard a soft knock on the door.

I knew for sure that it definitely wasn't Damon by the door as to the fact that he has never been this courteous.

“Come in” I yelled with my eyes locked to the door, wanting to see who it was.

The minute I responded, the door flung open revealing who it was.

And we'll, I was damn right about what I said earlier.

“Good day Miss” the guard said walking in.

“The Alpha asks that you come over to the board room for a brief meeting in the next ten minutes” he said and then had his head bowed to the ground.

I loved how they had me treated around the house, with guards and maid going about their usual duties.

“I will join him soon thanks” I said faking a smile at the guard, who was halfway out of my chambers already.

I looked down to my dress feeling a little too disturbed by my outfit as I thought of it to have a change of dress.

But then again, I was running out of time.

I soon got myself ready, and then I took a deep breath staring at myself in the mirror.

As I stood there, I wondered why he had wanted a sudden meeting with me.

I guess he probably would want to apologize about what had happened earlier on… I thought to myself.

I soon got out of my chamber heading down the stairs leading to the board room.

In no time, I was right in front of the doors staring down at the doorknob wondering what he probably would be up to in there.

I gave a tap on the door as I had it opened gently. 

I was shocked to find that he wasn't the only one seated.

But instead, the elders and other pack members.

I gave a nod the minute I entered as I had my eyes around the room studying the faces that were seated there.

“Sit child” an elder said pointing to the chair in front of me.

I joined the others as I glanced at Damon who had a serious expression on.

I looked away too, hoping we don't get to speak after the whole meeting and all.

The first elder was up on his feet, addressing everyone seated in the boardroom.

I had felt bored at a point watching as they went on with matters pertaining to the pack.

And as all of these went on, I soon realized there were more to just being a member here.

As I wandered off in my little thoughts, I heard his voice in my head.

I soon had myself back to the room and surprisingly Damon had called me out.

“Me?” I wondered why he suddenly wanted me to stand out with him.

I got up to my feet walking towards as I looked away trying not to make any eye contacts.

As I got up to the point where he stood he smiled in a seductive way with his eyes locked in mine.

I took my eyes off his clenching my fist the minute I felt Alexa howling with so much excitement in my head.

I bit hard on my teeth trying to hold her back from making me howl exploding in front of everyone.

“Now I would like to officially welcome the newest member to the team,” he said.

“Katherine Louise” he called out, holding on to my shoulders.

My whole body felt tingling as I surprisingly wanted more of his touch on my skin.

“But first, she would have to go through the normal process before becoming a fully known member,” he said.

Oh goodness, not again!!!… I muttered to myself.

I looked around to find everyone staring like they were indeed impressed and pleased having me on the team.

“Which is..”

“Her training with the others,” he said.

And just as he rounded up his speech they were up on their feets as they gave an applause watching him leave.

I exhaled loving the fact that he left without a word about earlier on, and then again I knew I had to be more worried about having to be on the team.

Most especially with him being the leader.

“Congrats dear” an elder said smiling to me as he held onto my shoulders.

I found it odd being congratulated over joining a team I knew nothing about.

I made my way through the hallway leading to the main house as I had my way to the frames on the wall.

“They’re beautiful…”
