Chapter 13 Pacification
If she hadn't been showing off that necklace in public, how could we have been so humiliated today?
Under those circumstances, I had no other choice but to make her return the necklace to Helena to keep the peace.
Why did she have to keep pushing after the fact, insisting on bringing up old issues?
Besides, Helena paid for that thing in the first place. It was just returning to its rightful owner - what's wrong with that?
Thinking this, I snapped back at her. "Explain what? What's there to explain?"
"Oh great, Knox, what do you mean by that? Do you think that now your marriage to Helena is right around the corner and you're about to become the Lockwood family's son-in-law, you're getting tired of me?"
Natasha got more and more worked up as she spoke, grabbing a cushion from the sofa and throwing it at me like crazy.
"Knox, you ungrateful bastard! If it weren't for me, could you have even gotten close to Helena?"
"Great, now you two are all lovey-dovey, about to get married, and you don't need me anymore, so you want to dump me, right?"
Natasha's sobbing got louder and louder, making my ears ring.
Her words basically meant I wasn't good enough for Helena, and without her, Helena and I would never have been possible.
Thinking about this made me even angrier.
I irritably loosened my tie. "Enough, stop crying!"
"Knox, you heartless bastard, do you think I want to cry? It's all because of you! If it weren't for you, would I have been so humiliated?"
Natasha screamed at the top of her lungs. "There were so many people at that auction, and you made me take off the necklace right there and give it to that bitch Helena!"
"Now it's great - before long, everyone in Starwave City will know that my stuff was bought with Helena's money. I've lost all my dignity, you know that?"
"Enough!"
It all came back to that damn necklace!
I didn't get it - hadn't I given her plenty of things over the years?
Seeing her still crying and making a scene, I couldn't take it anymore and turned toward the door.
The moment my hand touched the doorknob, Natasha's heartbroken voice came through.
"Knox, if you dare take one step out of this room today, don't ever show your face in front of me again!"
My hand paused. I knew Natasha's temper - she always meant what she said.
With my wedding to Helena right around the corner, I couldn't let her cause any more trouble.
I finally stopped and walked back toward her.
"Natasha, listen to me."
"No, no, I don't want to hear you talk!"
Natasha covered her ears, shaking her head over and over.
Her resistance triggered my desire to dominate. I undid my belt in one motion. Natasha saw what I was doing and let out a scream. "Knox, what are you doing?"
"Of course, making love."
I moved forward, pressing Natasha beneath me, grabbing both her hands and tying them tightly with the belt.
Natasha underneath me kept crying and struggling hard, but no matter how strong she was, could she overpower a man like me?
My hand came down, and her thin nightgown turned to shreds.
"Knox, what are you doing?"
Natasha twisted her naked body beneath me, letting out a scream.
"I told you I'm doing you!"
The more she resisted, the more excited I got. Amid her screams, I thrust hard into her body.
Natasha screamed again. "Knox, no!"
"Say you want it or you don't!"
I slapped her firm ass hard. Natasha became hoarse from what I was doing to her, her screams turning into moans.
Finally, amid her moaning, I came quickly.
Afterward, Natasha lay in my arms like a docile cat.
My hand fell on her proud breasts, kneading them hard. She let out a comfortable little moan. "Don't think the necklace thing is over, Knox. You have to help me get that necklace back!"
I mumbled in agreement. Honestly, before my wedding to Helena, I didn't want any more complications.
"Knox, are you even listening to me?"
As she spoke, Natasha's anger flared up again. She sat up and pulled my ear, demanding loudly.
"Yes, I heard!"
I quickly begged for mercy, just wanting to calm her down for now.
Seeing me agree, Natasha lay back down. "You said it yourself. I don't just want the necklace back, I want that bitch Helena to compensate me. I've got my eye on a bag - you tell her to buy it for me."
I frowned slightly and thought for a moment. "Can we wait a few days, until after the wedding?"
"No!"
Natasha exploded as soon as she heard this.
Seeing her about to blow up again, I quickly surrendered. "Okay, okay, I'll tell her, I'll tell her!"
Seeing me agree, she finally smiled. "Don't worry, that bitch Helena always does whatever you say. Whatever you tell her to do, she'll definitely do it."
Hearing her words, my brow relaxed. Natasha was right - given how Helena always listened to me, she would definitely do what I asked.
I thought again of that Top Horse. My goal in coming this time was Top Horse, but I didn't expect Atlas to show up out of nowhere!
I thought once Atlas bought the horse I'd have no chance, but I didn't expect that idiot to give the horse to Helena.
Funny thing — it actually worked in my favor. Back then, the horse in
Helena's hands was just as good as being in mine.
I let her play queen for a few days, then, the moment Joseph showed up, I asked for it back.
And just like I figured, once I kept Joseph happy, the money followed without a fight.
Thinking this, I showed a satisfied smile.
Atlas probably calculated everything except that he unintentionally did me a huge favor. If he knew, I wonder if he'd be so angry he'd cough up blood!
Thinking this, I burst out laughing, my hands kneading Natasha's breasts forcefully.
"Don't worry, once my plan succeeds, forget one necklace - I'll buy you three or five."
"Are you serious?" Natasha looked up in delight.
I pinched her cheek lightly. "Of course I'm serious. But my wedding to Helena is coming up, so behave yourself for now. Once I marry Helena, all of the Lockwood family's assets will belong to both of us, won't they?"
"You're so smart!"
Natasha playfully punched my chest and lay obediently on my lap.
"Knox, I'm only agreeing to your marriage to Helena because of the Lockwood family's assets, but you better remember - you're my man. If you dare actually fall in love with Helena, I'll castrate you!"
As she spoke, she made a scissor motion with her hand toward my crotch.
"You're trying to murder me!"
I pressed her down on the sofa again and gave her a good groping. Only when she begged for mercy did I get up and let her go.
"Knox, I'm being serious with you."
Natasha propped herself up, fixing her hair while looking at me seductively.
Seeing her serious expression, I felt uneasy.
She was the one who arranged my marriage to Helena. I knew her real purpose was just to get her hands on the Lockwood family's assets.
She'd always been guarding against me, afraid that Helena and I might develop real feelings.
I'd always sworn up and down to dismiss her concerns, but I knew that after the wedding, things might develop in an uncontrollable direction. Her worries were justified.
Natasha undoubtedly loved me - if she didn't, she wouldn't have helped me when I was at my lowest. I believed I wouldn't let her down.
But when I pictured Helena on the verge of becoming my wife, a flicker of doubt hit me.
