Chapter 28 I Warn You!

Chapter 28 I Warn You!
Mira needs to express her opinion. She sighed and said, “Do you think it’s too early to tell your husband about the soul switch?”
Luna Rosie raised a brow. “Huh? Why bring up this subject now? We already agreed that you would confess to my husband the truth after he arrives home. Are you backing out now?”
Mira sighed. “We both know he was injured. You should allow him to rest and get his injury healed first before telling him the truth. If he knew about the soul switch it would only add to his burden and worsen his condition. Please consider your husband’s physical and mental well-being first before giving him more problems,” she suggested.
“So you want me to delay the inevitable? Is this your way of trying to find a way to stop the truth from coming out?” Luna Rosie asked irritably, eyes flashing with anger.
Mira shook her head. “No. I didn't mean that. What I’m trying to say is…please be kind to your husband. He was injured. His wounds need to heal first. The revelation will come later when he is well enough to process everything. That’s what I’m saying…”
Luna Rosie sneered. “No. I think I know what you are trying to do here. You want to delay telling the truth to my husband because you want to be the one who will take care of him. You want to prolong the moment of togetherness with him so that you will be able to stay by his side for a few more days. Am I right? Do you think I didn't know about your intention? Do you think I’m stupid?” She blurted suspiciously, on the verge of another epic meltdown.
Here we go again! Mira rolled her eyes.
She groaned in dismay. The bitch was acting up again, refusing to hear reasons. She took a deep breath. “Don’t overthink my intentions. I’m just trying to tell you that it’s not yet the perfect time to tell your husband the truth because he was injured. If you really care for his well being you should not rush the reveal. Just my two cents worth of opinion. It’s for his best interest,” she argued.
Luna Rosie glared at Mira, her nostrils flaring in anger. “We will proceed as planned. You can’t stop me! You better get ready to tell him the truth,” she said, fuming mad that the servant is still trying to act smartly when she knows better what’s best for her situation. If they don't reveal the truth to her husband right away, Mira will naturally care for her injured husband. She will be out of the picture. She can no longer stay and sleep in her own room because there is no place for a servant in the couple’s room.
Mira and her husband will be left alone with each other in the room, doing what ordinary couples are doing behind closed doors.
She hated thinking about what was going to happen. She hated the thoughts of her husband holding Mira’s hands, kissing her cheeks and lips, telling her that he loves her because that is how her husband usually acts around her. He is always touchy feely and romantic towards her. Mira would receive all the love from her husband while she watches them helplessly simmering in anger and she can’t do anything about it.
It was intense jealousy that irked her, making her crazy.
She can’t bear seeing her husband touch another woman! Despite her body being the receiver of such kind of affection, the soul inside her body was Mira’s soul. It’s like a betrayal to her!
She couldn't bear the thought of her husband making love to Mira! That specific thought made her go ballistic in anger. Right now, while looking at Mira, she wanted to beat her to death for stealing her body and her life.
The only time she can get out of this never ending anger is the day when their soul was switched back to their original body. That will put an end to all her current problems.
She hoped it would happen soon!
Suddenly her phone beeped, alerting her to a text message. She quickly checked her phone and got a new message from her husband. She quickly read it, smiling happily.
Mira saw the shift in Luna Rosie’s mood. A while ago she was scowling but now she is smiling. What happened? She wanted to ask the reason why but decided against it because the woman is irritable, like gasoline ready to explode.
Luna Rosie looked at Mira. “My husband is coming home tonight!” she said excitedly. “No kissing and no hugging!” she warned her.
Mira frowned, confused by Luna Rosie’s warning. “W-what do you mean?”
“After a long separation, my husband loves hugging and kissing my cheeks and my lips. He will do that to you for sure, and I forbid it! You need to avoid his hugs and kisses. I hate seeing you two kissing and hugging each other. It’s like seeing my husband betraying me with another woman in front of me! I can’t bear it!” Luna Rosie explained menacingly, glaring at Mira with hatred flashing in her eyes.
Mira sighed. “So what do you want me to do? If I avoid his affectionate gesture he will be wondering why his wife feels so cold and distant towards him. If he asks me why I’m not responding to his hugs and kisses, what am I going to tell him?”
Luna Rosie fell silent for a moment, then she said, “Just tell him that he needs to rest so he can recover quickly. Find a way to avoid his affectionate gestures!"
Mira heaved a sigh. “I will try my best. But it’s best that you walk away once he arrives so you can’t see anything that would irritate your mood…because there are some things I can’t control…you know already,” she said, unable to say the next word.
Luna Rosie didn’t like Mira’s sarcastic reply. Her face contorted in anger. She grabbed a handful of Mira’s hair and scowled angrily into her face. “Things you can’t control? What are they? Answer me!”
“Ouch! Stop it, it hurts!” Mira winces in pain as Luna Rosie pulls her hair harder, showing no mercy. “Please release my hair. It's so painful," she begged, tears shimmering in her eyes. She wanted to retaliate but she was afraid that if they got into a physical fight her stomach might get hit accidentally during the fight. She was fearing for the safety of her unborn child. “Stop now! I’m going to the toilet to pee. If you don't release me I will pee on my underwear and you will have to clean the floor!” she warned her.
The thought of Mira peeing in her underwear and she would end up cleaning the floor repulsed her, prompting Luna Rosie to release Mira’s hair.
Mira quickly rushed to the bathroom and locked herself inside.
