Twenty minutes after passing the mountain road, the vehicle enters the private road, which is much emptier. After several identifications, the vehicle drives to the villa area.
“Drive to your home directly.” Song Qinghuan asks the driver to go to Xi Ze’s house instead of Song’s house.
Now, at Song’s House.
“Well, I got it. The balance has been transferred to your account.”
In the villa of Song family, the door of master bedroom on the third floor is opened. Wearing a white lace dress and with a long chestnut wavy hair, Song Shuyao trots happily towards the middle-aged beautiful woman who sits on the sofa after seeing her hang up the phone.
Song Shuyao twines the beautiful woman’s neck from the back of the sofa and her pink lips warp slightly. She says like a spoiled child: “Mom, made it? Can we really teach Song Qinghuan a good lesson this time?”
Mrs. Song—Xia Runan pats her daughter on the back of her hand comfortably, pulling her to the sofa beside and asking her to sit down. Then she laughs and says, "Don't worry, everything is in mom’s control, just wait for Song Qinghuan’s coming back."
Song Shuyao is binding her hair to her forefinger. She is born with a bright and charming face which takes on no smile at the moment. While she squints her eyes and says: “As long as she goes to the hospital, she will be injected much hormone medicine. It is better for her to become as fat as a pig to a point where losing weight is pointless. Well, how can she compare with me then!”
Xia Runan squints at her daughter and does not feel anything wrong with her daughter’s malign mind at such a young age. She holds a cup of iced coffee from the tea table and drinks a little. Her eyes glimmer with some unidentified smile.
However, Song Shuyao, who buries herself in the illusion that Song Qinghuan is going to become a fat pig, does not have any clue that something is wrong with her mother.
The door is open. A voice comes from the downstairs. Song Shuyao stands up excitedly and urges her mother: “That nuisance is back. Let’s go downstairs, mom.”
Xia Runan says with a spoiling smile: “Okay.”
A kind of depressive emotion comes to Song Qinghuan as soon as she enters the room. Even if she relives her life, the psychological effects caused by Song family and all the people in the family in her last life turn into sharp knives at present, scraping on her mind again.
But this time she is no coward any more. Her eyes are more smiling. She thinks that we will see who will get the last laugh.
Song Shuyao holds her mother’s arm. They go downstairs together from the spiral stairs with chatting and laughing. And when they look at Song Qinghuan standing in the large living room, they instantly find that she is empty-handed and there are no jewelry bags around her. They look at each other, which indicates that the plan succeeds.
“Song Qinghuan!” Song Shuyao shouts at her. Seeing that Song Qinghuan shakes her shoulders subconsciously when hearing the shouting, she questions with a smile and an answer in advance: “You are back, but where is mom’s jewelry?”
Xia Runan sits on the sofa opposite to Song Qinghuan. While Song Shuyao circles around Song Qinghuan with her hands on the back. When Song Shuyao gets close to her, Song Qinghuan pretends to be scared, which makes Song Shuyao laugh with more satisfaction.
Song Qinghuan lowers her head and intentionally presses her voice to seem panicked: “I left the jewelry at Xi Ze’s house.”
After serving the black tea which is Xia Runan’s favorite one, the servant goes quietly to the old lady’s bedroom. Song Qinghuan glimpses it from the corner of her eyes and realizes that since the mother and daughter love acting, she will accompany them.
Xia Runan just keeps smiling and finds that Song Qinghuan has no intention to drink. Then she says gently: “It’s too hot. Huanhuan, you
“I am not thirsty.” Song Qignhuan shakes her head. Having learned the lessons from her previous life, she dare not drink anything provided by Song family.
Song Shuyao finds her nervousness and says with a smile: “Song Qinghuan, you come back without anything. Won’t you sell mom’s customized jewelry? Tsk. Tsk… You even made up such a stupid excuse for leaving it behind in Xi Ze’s house.”
“I did leave it behind in Xi Ze’s house. I will go to get it.”
Song Qinghuan stands up promptly. Seeing her go out, Song Shuyao grabs her wrist instantly. Song Qinghuan is very cold, but not for the air conditioner. However, at this moment Song Shuyao does not care about her at all. Instead, she says aggressively, “Go on making up your excuse! Go on!”
“Song Qinghuan, mom often gives you allowance. But look at you, a thief and a clannish creature. You even secretly sell grandmother’s birthday gift prepared by mom with the confidence that grandmother shows her preference to you. Where is your conscience?”
Song Qinghuan looks down and thinks that your lines are exactly the same as those in the previous life. Firstly, you frame a case against me.
She was robbed but cannot provide any evidence. Not only that, but there is also one million wind-fall in her bank account. All is closely linked with one another. No wonder she was unable to explain herself clearly in her previous life. Because the mother and daughter never gave her a chance.
It is the rainy season recently. Grandmother suffers from rheumatism, which inconveniences her legs and feet. So she lives on the first floor. The servant does not close the bedroom door tightly after entering.
Xia Runan finds Song Qinghuan’s eyes are full of sadness and says softly: “Huanhuan, doesn’t mom give you enough money? But you cheated me like this. This customized jewelry is my special birthday gift for your grandmother. This time you really let me down.”
Look, there is no chance for her explanation from the beginning to end. The mother and daughter begin their acting by following the script and affirm that she stole the jewelry and sold it.
Then they begin inquiring her where the jewelry is in front of grandmother and the servant.
In the previous life she said that she was robbed on her way back. But nobody believed her for she had no trace of scratch on her body and there was one extra million in her bank account. She was caught with the goods.
“What happened?” Grandmother Song asks in a calm voice which is not as relaxed as that when she just wakes up. Obviously, she has awaken and has listened in her room for a while before coming out.
Song Shuyao misleads the public firstly and gives Song Qinghuan no chance to explain. “Grandma, you are right here. My sister stole and sold the jewelry prepared by mom for your birthday.”
“Grandma, I didn’t do that. I just left it behind in Xi Ze’s house.” Song Qinghuan has it in her control. She has seen Xi Ze coming in.
Surely…
“Why is it so bustling with noise today?” Here comes Xi Ze’s voice. He is good-looking and extroverted. Every time he comes, grandma will be in good mood. “Good afternoon, grandma.”
