Jannet's hands were clenched and shaking, she felt very angry at what her mother had said to her. Clearly her mother thought she wasn't trying enough. That made her unable to take anything for granted.

"I know that in the end, you will still defend Ella no matter what happens, no matter how big a mistake she makes. Because for mother, she is still your favorite daughter!"

"What are you saying, Jannet? Don't you know how hard I scolded Ella for all the messes she made? Don't you know that? I don't want you to think that I prioritize her so much that I turn a blind eye to all her mistakes!"

"But you're not hard enough on her, mother! She still acts as she pleases, she even challenged me to a fight and she probably really hates it because I'm so beautiful that I have great potential to win His Majesty's heart. She doesn't want King Zavier to fall in love with me, because from the start he wanted all attention to be focused only on her!"

Mrs. Marquitas sighed, she didn't understand the thoughts of her four unmarried daughters, including Jannet. If she wasn't the mother of these four young ladies, she would definitely quickly judge that Ella was the prettiest, that was the truth. But because she was a mother, it was impossible for her to tell her daughters the truth.

"Okay, I will try to reprimand Ella so that she will stop fighting with you, you can go back to your room, Jannet! Besides, we have an invitation to attend a party at Count Albergen's residence tonight. I want you to tell Marie and Emily so they can prepare themselves."

"What about Ella? Should she come too? I'm sure she will only treat this family if she comes to such a respectable party. I hope you don't ask her to go with us, Mother!"

"She will come, just like you, she is also my daughter. Apart from that, this party was held as one of the matchmaking efforts that Count Albergen wanted to carry out for his eldest son, Henry Albergen."

"You mean Count Albergen wants to find a match for his eldest son, Henry Albergen?"

"Yes, it seems that Henry is interested in one of the daughters in this family. It would be a sin if the woman he was interested in was you, Jannet! Because the Albergen family is a noble family that is known to be very rich."

Jannet smiled broadly, she felt happy because it seemed like she had a great opportunity to marry a high-class nobleman who was known to be very rich like the Albergen Family. Apart from being rich, the family was also famous for being beautiful, so many girls hoped to have the opportunity to be part of the family. 

"Okay, Mother. I understand. I will convey your message to Marie and Emily. Excuse me!" She said as she left her mother's private room.

Emily danced in circles with joy at the thought that she would be dancing with Henry Albergen, Count Albergen's eldest son. But even though she really wants to win Henry Albergen's heart, the charm of King Zavier and his half-brother, Duke Aiden, puts her in a dilemma. 

To be honest, Duke Aiden was the man she most wanted to marry her. Come on, who can resist the charm of a handsome and naughty man like Duke Aiden? His charming face and mischievous smile made women melt like a candle. But she also couldn't resist the charisma and good looks of the young King Zavier? After all, what woman could resist a king?

"It would be more interesting if I could attract the attention of those three men, whoever of the three of them could have me, it would still be good luck." She thought.

She knocked on Emily's door with a flowery feeling. Emily, who opened the door to her room, was a little surprised because Jannet's big smile greeted her behind the door.

"Jannet? What's wrong? Why are you smiling like that?" Emily asked. She felt a little disturbed by Jannet's smile which looked a little scary.

"Mother asked me to tell you that tonight we have to attend a party at Count Albergen's residence. So, you have to get ready as soon as possible!"

"Party? Tonight? Why so sudden?"

"I don't know, I don't know why either. But you shouldn't ask too many questions. Just do what mother says!" She said as she left.

"Wait a minute! What about Ella? Have you told her?" Emily asked with an innocence that made Jannet's flowering heart return to annoyed mode. 

Jannet looked back, looking at Emily who didn't seem to know about the problem that had occurred between her and Ella this morning. 

"I really hope that that troublemaker doesn't have to come to such a dignified event. She will only ruin the atmosphere like before."
