Chapter 127 One Hundred & Twenty Seven

Chapter 127 One Hundred & Twenty Seven
Izzy’s phone buzzed, but she ignored it.

Probably Dominic, throwing another one of his tantrums, she thought.

She wondered what he wanted to talk about this time, but she didn’t care enough to check. Not yet.

Then it buzzed again. And again. Repeatedly.

Finally, she sighed and picked it up.

A message from Dominic. And this time, an image.

She hesitated, then opened it.

Her eyes went wide.

The image was a DNA report.

It confirmed it. Brian was his.

Izzy froze, heart hammering in her chest.

How did he…? This can’t be happening.

Panic crept in, twisting her stomach. She grabbed her phone and dialed Steven, her hands shaking.

“He knows,” she whispered as soon as he answered, her voice trembling.

“What, honey?” Steven’s voice was calm, but she could hear the concern under it.

“Dominic knows,” she said, voice tight, almost breaking.

“I’m coming over to the office now,” Steven said immediately, then hung up.

Izzy’s chest tightened. She stared at her phone, feeling the walls of control she had built around her life start to crumble.

This was supposed to be a secret forever. This was not supposed to be out there.

But now… everything was about to change.

Dominic didn’t wait. He stormed into the office lobby, his presence magnetic, intimidating, and sharp. The moment Izzy rounded the corner, he was there, blocking her path before she could even reach her office.

“Sit down,” he said, voice low, dangerous.

Izzy stopped, steadying herself. Her pulse raced, but her gaze didn’t waver.

“Izzy…” His eyes were dark, stormy, every inch the man she had once feared and still couldn’t ignore. “We’re talking. Now.”

She swallowed but lifted her chin. “I’m busy, Dominic. I’ll talk when I’m ready.”

His jaw tightened. The subtle smirk on his lips vanished, replaced by a predator’s intensity.

“You think this is a game?” His voice dropped, low and cold. “You think I’ll wait while you hide the truth from me?”

“Izzy lifted an eyebrow, her voice calm but sharp. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“You must think I’m stupid,” Dominic said, stepping closer, his presence overwhelming, magnetic, and dangerous.

“Well, how would I know?” Izzy replied smoothly, meeting his gaze. “If you have something to talk to me about that isn’t business, then I have nothing to say.”

Dominic’s hand slammed against the table, rattling papers and making the glass on the edge tremble.

“How dare you stand there and hide the fact that Brian is my son?” he growled, his voice low, dangerous, every word sharp as steel.

Izzy’s eyes didn’t waver. Her tone was ice-cold, deliberate. “Just because you fucked me and your sperm stayed in there and made a baby… doesn’t make you a father.”

Dominic froze, the words hitting him like a blow, but instead of retreating, the storm inside him flared hotter.

“You think I won’t fight for him?” he hissed, leaning in, the space between them crackling with tension. “You think I’ll let you make decisions for him without me?”

“I am fighting for him,” Izzy shot back, stepping forward so that her eyes were level with his. “I’m keeping him safe—from you.”

Dominic’s chest heaved, a mixture of rage and disbelief. “Safe? From me? What am I a monster.. I am his blood. His father. You don’t get to decide what’s safe!”

“Mr. Steele his mine son you’re just a sperm donor .. I’m not letting you near my son.” She said coldly

Dominic’s eyes went dark, his storm of anger and disbelief. The veins in his neck tightened as he leaned closer, his voice dropping to a growl.

“Just a sperm donor?” he spat, every word laced with venom. “Do you have any idea what you’re saying? That boy has my blood running through his veins. My name. My life. And you think that makes me… nothing?”

Izzy didn’t flinch. Her jaw was tight, her eyes locked on his. “I know exactly who you are, Dominic. And you’re not the father my son needs. You’ve spent your whole life wrapped around your mother’s finger, never standing on your own. Still kissing her ass. That makes you completely unfit to be Brian’s father.”

Dominic’s eyes went black, storm-dark, and for a moment, the room seemed to shrink around them.

“Unfit?” he hissed, voice low, dangerous, trembling with fury. “You dare.. dare… stand there and tell me I’m unfit? After six years of stealing him from me, keeping me out of his life… You have no right, Izzy!”

Oh please… knock it off. It’s work hours. I have work to do, so drop this,” Izzy said, her voice calm but cutting, as if swatting him away.

Dominic stared at her, disbelief and shock flashing across his face. “What happened to you, Izzy? This isn’t the Izzy I know… she isn’t this responsible.”

Izzy laughed, a bitter, sharp sound that made his chest tighten. “Irresponsible me? Says the guy whose mom fired me for no reason. Says the man who told me to wait two years while he married someone else… fucking me whenever he wanted.”

She stepped closer, voice rising, eyes blazing. “You ask what happened? I grew up, asshole. I survived. I built a life. I protected my son from men like you.”

Dominic’s jaw clenched, every inch of him coiling with fury and obsession. His voice dropped, low and dangerous. “Protected him from me? You think I’m the enemy here?”

Izzy!” Dominic yelled, his voice echoing through the office.

She turned and walked toward the door, relief flooding her.. thankfully, the office was empty.

“Get out,” she said, her tone firm as she reached for the handle.

“You’re going to talk to me now… or… ” Dominic stepped forward, grabbing her wrist.

“Get your hands off my wife!” a sharp voice cut through the tension.

Steven stood in the doorway, jaw tight, eyes blazing with controlled fury.

Dominic froze, hand still on hers.
