Chapter 201

Chapter 201
Maya: POV

I stood at the edge of the reception hall, watching as waitstaff transformed the ceremony space into a dance floor.

The lighting had dimmed to a romantic glow, and the string quartet had been replaced by a small band setting up their instruments.

My heart felt impossibly full yet strangely conflicted.

This was meant to be Elena and Mikhail's special day—their wedding celebration—and somehow Viktor and I had ended up sharing it with our vow renewal.

Despite everyone's assurances, I couldn't shake the feeling that we'd stolen some of their spotlight.

The wedding coordinator approached Elena and Mikhail, whispered something in their ears, and they nodded enthusiastically.

Elena caught my eye across the room and waved me over, her face radiant with joy.

"Maya, Viktor," Elena called as we approached. "It's time for the first dance. We thought you two should go first, especially after that beautiful vow renewal ceremony."

I immediately shook my head. "No, we've already shared enough of your day. This moment is completely yours."

Elena squeezed my hand. "That's what true friendship is. Sharing special moments. I don't mind at all that we had our ceremonies on the same day."

"How about we dance together then? Both couples for the first dance?" she suggested, eyes bright with excitement.

Viktor's hand settled possessively on my lower back. "No, Elena," he said firmly but kindly. "You and Mikhail are the newlyweds, so you go first."

I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face.

I knew Mikhail would never contradict Viktor, and true to my expectations, Mikhail nodded while Elena laughed softly and nodded in agreement.

Mikhail extended his hand to Elena with a flourish. "Shall we, Mrs. Bradley?"

Elena took his hand, and they glided to the center of the dance floor as the music began—a slow, romantic melody that seemed written just for them.

They moved together with such natural chemistry that all eyes were drawn to them.

The way Mikhail looked at Elena—like she was his entire universe—made my heart swell with happiness for my friend.

I instinctively leaned back against Viktor, who immediately wrapped his arms around me from behind, his chin resting on my shoulder as we watched the newlyweds dance.

"They're perfect for each other, aren't they?" I whispered.

Viktor's breath was warm against my ear. "Yes, they are. Just like us." His tone was teasing, but I could hear the sincerity beneath it.

My cheeks flushed, and my smile grew wider.

The familiar heat that always sparked between us whenever he was close intensified, spreading through my body like wildfire.

"You know," Viktor murmured, his lips brushing against my ear, "we could skip the dancing and dinner and start our honeymoon right now."

I laughed softly, turning my head slightly to meet his gaze. "Have a little patience, Mr. Quinn."

He groaned, his arms tightening around me. "God! I can't wait. I want you, baby."

I glanced around nervously, afraid someone might have heard him. "Mr. Quinn," I hissed, my breathing slightly labored.

His eyes darkened with desire and love. "Yes, Mrs. Quinn?"

"You're incredibly shameless," I teased.

A low chuckle rumbled through his chest. "Only for you, my love." He pressed a soft kiss to my lips.

"Everyone's watching," I mumbled against his mouth.

"So what? You're my wife, and I'm kissing you." He kissed me again, deeper this time, and I melted against him.

The sound of applause broke us apart.

Mikhail and Elena had finished their dance, both beaming with joy as they made their way off the dance floor.

The music shifted to a new, slower beat.

Lina and Maxim came running over, their faces alight with excitement. "Mom! Dad! It's your turn now!"

I bent down to kiss their cheeks before turning back to Viktor.

His gaze was locked on me, filled with such intensity that it made my breath catch.

He held out his hand. "Ready to set the dance floor on fire, Mrs. Quinn?" His voice was husky.

"Let's go, Mr. Quinn," I replied, my voice dropping to a sultry tone that made his eyes darken even more.

Viktor pulled me close as we stepped onto the dance floor, our bodies pressed together as we moved in perfect sync.

I couldn't resist teasing him a little, running my fingers down his solid chest and pressing my breasts against his torso.

He groaned, and I felt his body's immediate reaction. "You know what? You're driving me crazy," he whispered in my ear.

"What did I do?" I asked innocently.

"Baby, you're going to pay for this tonight," he warned, his tone low and playful.

I bit my lip, feeling a thrill run through me.

"Am I being a bad girl, Mr. Quinn?" I asked, my voice carrying a hint of challenge.

Viktor's lips curled into a wicked smile. "Baby, if you keep playing like this for one more minute, I'm going to pick you up in front of everyone, take you home, and fuck you senseless until you're screaming my name all night and can't walk straight."

My eyes widened, and my breath hitched as heat flooded through me. "Mr. Quinn!?" I gasped, my voice trembling.

"What Mr. Quinn?! You asked for it." His breathing was as heavy as mine, and he suddenly stopped dancing.

Taking my hand, Viktor led me toward our table.

People were applauding our dance, and I looked at him in confusion.

Mikhail and Elena joined us at the large family table, and soon everyone was seated for dinner.

"I thought you were taking me home," I whispered teasingly to Viktor, glancing pointedly at the noticeable bulge in his pants and laughing softly when he noticed where my eyes had gone and scowled.

Viktor smiled as he served food onto my plate. "Hmm, my love. But first, you and our little ones are hungry. So we take care of that first." He carefully selected the most nutritious options, mindful of my health and the baby's.

I nodded, suddenly aware of how tired and hungry I was.

Despite my earlier excitement, I was ready to rest. I was grateful for my husband's thoughtfulness, knowing he always put my well-being first.

During dinner, I learned that Mikhail and Elena would begin honeymoons tomorrow.

I was relieved—Mikhail and Elena deserved some time alone as newlyweds.

I watched Elena and Mikhail across the table, lost in their own little world of romance.

My heart filled with joy seeing that both Elena and I had found our perfect loves. After everything we'd been through, we deserved this happiness.

Viktor noticed me watching them and leaned close. "I love you, my love," he whispered.

I turned to look at him, then glanced at Lina and Maxim sitting beside me. "I've always loved you, my love," I replied softly, my heart full.
