17. Bit dramatic Gem

Ada's POV

"Where the fuck we're you?" I looked towards that beautiful teacher with her big brown eyes and couldn't help but turn away. "Making sure it was the right choice and falling in love with you all over again." I couldn't feel much my eyes still stinging from the amount of tears. Looking out into the open water I felt as if I wanted to sink into it, stretching my arm I looked out. "Screw you!"

Quickly I glanced back to see her with a smashed piece of glass holding it to her own neck and a ring in the other hand. My heart leapt into my mouth. "It's one or the other. If you don't marry me, I'll kill myself. I can't love without you." I felt her life in the balance, the breeze drifting past creating a draft and so I pushed my hair back. "You wouldn't do that." I hesitated to reply and almost went to turn around again but my eyes we're clamped to her heaving chest. "If die without you, if you don't believe it watch me." Walking over I looked deep into her eyes as she'd collapsed onto her knees. The only time I've ever looked down on her.

"Bit fucking dramatic gem." I snatched the broken glass from her hand and threw the weapon as far away as possible into the open water. Collapsing into her arms voluntarily and placing my little snivelling kisses into her neck as she rest her head on mine.

"No lies, where we're you?" I felt her hands cup my cheeks. "I was with Ava Lord. Who I left once again, she showed me a picture of her wife and kids, I thought she was hitting on me so I stormed home. To you, asleep on the floor. Which is why I needed to see her, to remind me of why I chose you. Why I will always choose you." I processed everything through my head and knew we could talk about it in full later. "I love you." I muttered and pressed out lips together, they fit so perfectly. "I love you." She muttered back and I felt love, again.
