16. STOP

Gemma's POV

Walking into the classroom I couldn't help but feel everyone's hatred towards me. As if people could sends Id done something wrong bringing up the register I noticed two names marking themselves away for my lesson. Cooper and Ada. Checking further into it I noticed Bene was also not going to be there that lesson for his English. I couldn't speak words clogged in my throat but I couldn't get them out without fear I might cry.

How unprofessional of me I ran into the back room and collapsed in a pile of bones. Looking to the door and expecting Ada to walk in any moment to kiss me. Just run in and kiss me. Breaking down into a flood of tears I couldn't help but feel the emotional strain upon my heart tearing me down further and further into despair. Without her i feel like nothing, my whole life has amounted to nothing.

"Miss." Looking up there was Anastasia, I really couldn't be bothered with her face. "I know you probably don't like me..." Got that one spot on kiddo. "But you have to go and get your girl." Believing I miss heard her I grabbed the tissue blowing my nose and looking up. "I'm sorry?" I questioned her. "She loves you. You love her. Go and get her, I'll say I'm doing work experience with you taking a few classes." She's not such a bad kid at all I guess. I placed a thanking hand upon her shoulder as I snatched my coat and bowler hat running out of the room.

Running everywhere she was no where to be found. Eventually I found myself at Rosie's door. Knocking she opened the door and her bright eyes turned dark as I felt a sharp slap across my cheek. "I deserved that." The bleach blonde smiled and gave a nod as she took me into her arms. "Come on Gem, I'll take you to her." Walking arm in arm she gently lead me down to the little path beside the bridge and she nodded.

I ran down the steep slope through the trees to see my baby standing at the waters edge with the box in her hand. Cooper and Bene sat a few good yards away looking deeply into each other's eyes. Just as she pulled her arm back to throw I kicked my slip on shoes off and ran along the pebbles. "Stop!" I felt the moment so dramatic in my head truth being I probably look like crap. Wind swept hair, running mascara and nearly tripping up over the little pebbles. She turned around, those beautiful green eyes to see me.
