14. Goodbye

Gemma's POV

Looking over to her it's so hard not to just collapse on my knees in front of her. Jesus Ada, what do you do to me? I love you to fuck. I hate it "bye miss." She smiled leaving. I hate it when she leaves, just dread to think what pile of crap I'll have to put up with for the rest of the day.

Hearing a familiar knock on the door I walked and opened to see a face I didn't think I would. "Lord." I opened my mouth watching the tall black haired fair skinned woman before me. "Lander." She smirked towards me that smirk that used to make me wince and fall down to my knees. "you're back." I tried to smile but I feel like it looks like a grimace. "I'm picking you up after work."

I felt like jumping out of the window I mean there's nothing stopping me. I watched that clock like there was nothing else. Walking out of the building there she was. Stood with those beehive glasses, black leather jacket and skirt so high. "Drinks?" I smiled nodding putting everything into the boot of that beautiful black Audi.

Sitting down in Cuchelles I couldn't help but laugh at how different she had become. Excuse me for a moment. I grabbed the vibrating phone from my pocket. "I'll be home soon baby." Looking at the clock I noticed it was half nine. What the hell? "Where does time go I have to get going." I moved to turn out before she snatched my wrist and pulled us together. "That was my girlfriend." I smiled before she could touch our lips together.

I moved away from her "you're serious then?" I nodded politely readjusting my shoulder bag. "Yeah she's the best. Which is why I've got to go. Sorry." I turned away and then remembered what I needed to say "actually I'm not sorry leaving you was the best decision for me back then and leaving you now is still the same... It's the best decision I've ever made." I giggled and walked away hearing music in the back of my head. R-E-S-P-E-C-T find out what it means to me.

Watching the house Ada's here. Shit I left my books in Ava's car. Oh well just a cuddle with Ada will sort that. Walking in I could see the lights out and candles 'happy anniversary'. Fuck. I looked to her with her hand over a box with a ring in it. I ducked up the night and now she's sleeping. Fuck.
