10. Little Calligraphy
Gemma's POV
That morning I got into school early to set up cameras that Ada bought the other day. How cute, she actually wants to go to all this trouble to catch this person. Well it is her that this person is offending/Threatening as well. But she's being genuine about finding them before our anniversary which I think is just so Ada. My perfect girlfriend, well hopefully I can ask her to be something else soon but that has to wait till our 2 year anniversary. I want it to be special.
Looking at the clock, yes! Coffee time! Seriously love coffee, I think this will be the third cup of the day. What with me waking up so early I'd say it was needed. Walking back in with my coffee I couldn't help but smile at my desk, well I guess they took the bait and left me a delightful note once again. Looking down I couldn't help but smile at the picture, really bad quality but me and Ada look so cute. Hearing a knock at the door I smiled and turned to see that familiar face. "Don't you think we look cute?" I asked with a big grin on my face, I couldn't help but smile we're so adorable. "Yeah..." She sighed, I should probably ask what's wrong, I guess it was the caption 'your vial' which should be you're vial not your. "Let's find this son of a rat."
Digging out my laptop, I felt Ada's breath heavy on the back of my neck. I bet her lips taste like heaven right about now. She's always a cute kisser when she's nervous. Plugging it in, the video took a while till we could get to the right section. She looked so nervous and cute I turned around and placed a kiss on her lips, it wasn't well revived as she kept scrolling to find the right section. What? For gods sake!
Turning around I watched Ada punch a hole straight through the white board. "Ada calm down!" Jeez she's not due on for another 2 weeks. Looking towards her I couldn't help but want to run away from those angry eyes and yet I felt safe. "How the hell am I meant to do this?" I watched as my baby screwed her face up and placed her head in her hands. I wanted to cry, it was like as her world fell so did mine. "Do what baby?" Please hug me Ada, I'm scared and I need you.
"Gem, whoever it was was in all black, they've probably changed by now. Don't you get it! I can't protect you, as much as I want to always be there as save you from evil I can't Gem. So I guess the only way I can protect you is to leave you." What? Wait this isn't how it's supposed to be. I felt my eyes well right up. My eyes a balloon under a tap. Stretched right to their limit, please don't break on me. Bang. That's it the flood that showed her I care. "I love you." She kissed me passionately through my salted tears. "Give me one more day." She nodded I could tell she didn't want this.
Re watching it as the bell went I played it right through my 1st lesson as they worked from their text books. His/her jacket has little calligraphy on the back and they wouldn't have had enough time to go home and change. Since only two kids in my class have lockers Cooper and Ada, it's not them. Which means that they'll still have that hoodie on them either wearing it. Oh, it could be in their bags... How do I get into their bags?
I watched them all slink into the classroom, most of them being slobs and slapping their heads on the table. "Right guys." Just as I was about to turn around I watched them all closely. Just the same as usual. "Mandatory bag search guys, they believe that there is alcohol on the premises." Each on gladly obliged, until I got to Cooper. Really putting vodka orange in a protein shake bottle? Cooper that's the oldest trick in the book. I winked to her and watched her sigh with relief.
Moving onto jacks back, Marlboro Red! He's a smoker? What! Okay Gem calm yourself woman keep looking. Wait. Jack? I tried to keep a blunt face as I glared down at the hoodie in the bottom of his bag. Calligraphy on the back... Little calligraphy on the bag. I haven't lost Ada but our culprit is Jack. And we we're going to tell him, Ada wanted to come out to a few more of her friends. Bad idea, no one else can know. Now to tell my princess herself.
