6. World's biggest idiot
Gemma's POV
Placing my head on the pillow, I can't believe she could just walk out like that. First she's not listened to a word I'm saying then she has the cheek to just walk out on me. Without my permission. Walking forwards I couldn't believe myself, I needed air. Opening the front door I caught a familiar shape turn around from being sat on my door step. "Hi." She whispered to me in the cold night air. Oh crap. She's been crying too.
Gesturing for her to come in she was freezing. So I lead us to the kitchen trying to seem as in control as possible. All I wanted to do was break down and cry, I just want her back. I want my baby back in my arms forever. My love. The only person I can trust with everything. The person I turn to with every little problem. I can complain to her about the strangest things and she'll still love me at the end of it. I talk too much, maybe that's why she's left me for some blonde butch.
I remember the first time we kissed, it felt like the best mistake of my life. She was stood there all cute with her hair curlier than normal and some little black shorts on. I had her group perform something to do with Pythagoras. She was so funny. Just her confidence shone through, forgetting some lines and making up new ones. I clapped like a slapping board on steroids.
She stayed behind because she wanted to help me pack away after my classroom had been made into a train wreck. Walking into the store cupboard she lent over to put something on a bottom shelf and I had to put something on a higher one. Because she couldn't reach haha! Then as she came up our eyes fused with passion and lust. There was this gravitational pull that was just undeniable to both of us.
"Why the hell did you storm out?" I melted my hands into the worktops trying to get my grip. It wasn't working, I still wanted to hit something. "Why did you shout at me? I was only laughing." Her little voice seemed so full of innocence that I pushed the mugs of hot chocolate Id just made off the table. Allowing the boiling water to patch my arms. I couldn't care less. "Why don't you fucking listen?" I felt my head heat up in my hands. I was that bag of popcorn in the microwave popping slowly but if you leave it in long enough... It explodes.
Throwing mugs and cups at her. She had good dodging skills I wasn't worried about hitting her. I didn't want to hit her, just the loud noises seemed to make it easier for me to listen to myself. For her to listen to me for the first time in two weeks and three days. I watched my blonde jump out of her skin as I had run out of mugs to throw. Just the plastic cups left but I had a feeling I'd want a drink in the morning. That I'd regret smashing all of my cups in the morning.
Collapsing to the floor I didn't want to throw anymore I just wanted to cry and get it all out there. So we might be able to be friends, so I can have her back in my life. As a friend, or if she'll still have me as her lover. "What's wrong baby girl?" I felt her soothing touch on my shoulders as she came down to comfort me. "That shitty little rat Dany worming her way in with you." I felt my whole world collapse, I need her to tell me what's going on.
Hearing a little giggle I felt her kisses tickle my cheek as I turned my face. "I love you, you stupid git!" Her voice seemed full of relief, at least she still loves me. Curled up on my kitchen floor. "Dang is straight, she told me so herself and she knows I have a girlfriend. Whom I love with all my heart. Now are you going to come here and give me a hug or what?" Reluctantly I pulled my stupid body into her arms.
Wow I've been the worlds biggest idiot. Waking up the next morning I turned over to see a brand new mug sat one bedside table. I really don't deserve her but I wouldn't give her up for the world. As much as I don't deserve her, she's mine and I'm hers for all time.
