ARIA’S POV

I woke up Suddenly around midnight and Stared at the ceiling for a few Seconds.
I turned toward Cassian and watched him Sleep peacefully beside me.
I gently touched his arm until he Slowly opened his eyes.

“Baby?” he mumbled Sleepily.
I Snuggled Closer to him.
“Do you need anything?” He asked.
“No.”
“Then what’s going on?”
“I want us to go back to New York in the morning, baby.” I Pouted.
His eyes immediately opened wider as he looked at me.

“Tomorrow morning, why?”
I nodded.
“I just want to go home, I want to See everyone again.”
He Studied my face for a moment before Sitting up.
“Did Something happen?”
I Shook my head.
“I just Can't keep the news inside anymore… And I don't want to tell them through Call.”

Cassian nodded Slowly.
“Okay, baby, we'll go back in the morning then.”
I Smiled and wrapped my arms around him.
He kissed my forehead and Pulled me Closer. “Let's Sleep.”

I rested against his Chest and Closed my eyes again.
My mind immediately Started thinking about everything waiting for us in New York.
I touched my Stomach and Smiled… I Still couldn't believe that there was a baby growing inside me.
Cassian noticed my Smile and gently Placed his hand over mine.

The next morning, we woke up early and Started getting ready.
Cassian immediately Contacted his driver and arranged everything for our trip to the airport.
I Packed the few things we had unpacked and Checked our bags before leaving the Suite.

Cassian Stayed Close to me throughout the Process and kept asking if I was okay.
“I'm fine,” I told him when he asked for the third time.
He Smiled and kissed my forehead.

We left the hotel and headed to the airport. I looked through the Car window while Cassian held my hand.
Dubai had been beautiful, I had arrived there Carrying fear and pain, but I was leaving with a baby in my tummy.
I looked down at my Stomach and Smiled again.

“What are you thinking about?” Cassian asked.
I looked at him and laughed. “Our baby.” His face Softened.
“I'm Still trying to believe we're actually going to have a Child.”
I Squeezed his hand. “Me too.”
He leaned Closer and kissed my temple.

When we reached the airport, Cassian handled our luggage while I Stayed beside him.
We boarded the plane and took our Seats together.
As Soon as we Settled down, Cassian reached for my hand.
“Ready to go home?” he asked.
I nodded. “Yes.”

The flight was long, but I didn't mind. Cassian and I talked about our Plans for the baby and laughed about the names we had already Started arguing over.
He Still insisted the baby was going to be a girl, while I Continued insisting it would be a boy.

Every few minutes, one of us would bring up the bet and threaten to Collect the money forcefully.
It felt Strange talking about our future so openly while knowing nobody else had any idea what was happening.

Hours later, the pilot announced that we were preparing to land in New York.
My heart Started beating faster the moment I heard those words.
I looked through the window and Saw the City below us.
I had missed home, and Suddenly I Couldn't wait to Step back into familiar places.
Cassian noticed my expression and Squeezed my hand. “We're finally home.”

The plane landed, and we left the airport after Collecting our luggage.
Cassian's driver was waiting outside, just as he had arranged.
I got into the Car beside Cassian and immediately rested my head against his Shoulder.

“Are you nervous?” Cassian asked.
I looked at him and nodded honestly. “A little.”
He Squeezed my hand. “You don't have to be.”
“I know.”

Cassian told the driver to drive to his mother’s mansion first.
We drove through familiar Streets until the Car finally arrived at the mansion.
“We're here,” Cassian Said.
I took a deep breath and looked at him.
“I Can't believe we're actually back.”

Cassian Stepped out first.
He walked around the Car and opened my door before offering me his hand.
I took it and Stepped out beside him.
I Could already imagine his mother's reaction when she Sees us.

The front door Suddenly opened before we reached it.
Cassian's mother appeared with a huge Smile on her face.
“My babies are back!” she exclaimed as she walked Quickly toward us.
Cassian laughed as she Pulled us into a tight hug.

“I missed you, Aria,” she Said warmly.
I Smiled. “I missed you too, mom.”
She Pulled away and looked at me Carefully, then she looked at Cassian.
“You two look different.”

“Different how?” Cassian asked.
His mother narrowed her eyes as she Studied both of us.
“I don't know, both of you are glowing differently.” She Said.
I Quickly looked at Cassian, and he gave me a tiny Smile.

“Come inside,” she Said.
We followed her into the mansion while Cassian Continued holding my hand… I tried to act normal, but my heart wouldn't Stop racing.
We walked into the living room, and his mother immediately Started asking questions about Dubai.
“Did you both have fun?” she asked.
“Yes,” I replied.

“Did anything interesting happen?” she asked.
I glanced at Cassian before answering. “We just enjoyed our time together.”
She nodded Slowly and Sat down. “Really?” she asked.
I nodded. “Really.”
Cassian quietly laughed beside me, and his mother looked at him Suspiciously.
