CHAPTER 3(SCHOOL FUNCTION)

Tomorrow is our school function and I will be performing solo dance where I will be singing myself…. i am too excited I love singing and dancing and as varun is the school secretary he told our coordinator teacher about me so sir forced me to perform in the function.
Thank god my sir already talked with dad now I just have to pursue them to let me stay in the function till the end. As me and varun planned to spend time together in the function.
I went for dinner and saw mom, dad and bhaiya is already waiting for me.
“come baby sit”mom said with a smile and started serving me.
After a while I started talking “uhmm dad tomorrow is our school function” I said
“yeah we know we already got the invitation”dad said and all were looking at me intently
“I know if u go there u will only be staying for some time”I said and brother stopped eating
“soo”bhaiyya asked
“soo can I please stay there till the function end and I promise after function I will call driver uncle to pick me up”I said and looked at dad and he looked at bhaiya…… please bhaiyaa say yes
“okay” dad said as soon as bhaiya nodded at him to agree my request.
“but rehan will pick u up”dad said and I just agreed as I am very happy finally I can stay late with my friends.
I know u all be thinking as my parents are also invited why I am so happy to stay late.. hehee…it is because everytime mom and dad just stay till my function then they just take me home though I protest to stay more.
So I know this time I will be with my friends yayyyy.
After dinner I went to sleep.
Next morning I woke up late as we have functions in the evening so I don’t have to go to school now and I will be practicing my performance here.
At 12 noon varun called we talked for sometime and he told me that he is missing me too much as he is in school for the decoration and all.
After lunch I took nap for sometime but soon woke up with the knock on my door.
I opened it and saw mom was standing there with 2 more people.
“what happened mom?” I asked confused.
“meet them.. they will be helping u will the dress and makeup”she said
“mom I can manage”I said in a annoyed tone.
“I want everything to be perfect for my baby soo goo get ready its already 3. 30 and u have to leave at 5. 30 for the function so don’t waste time.” Mom said and kissed my cheeks
After that these 2 persons helped me with my makeup and dress as I saw myself in the mirror I can tell I look perfect for my performance as I wore light blue knee length gown with my princess braided hair and with nude makeup…I look like a princess I thanked them.
As I went down I saw mom, dad and bhaiya is already ready for the function and as they saw me…they all complimented me.
We all reached school after that before anyone can notice me with dad I went on the other side where the participant will be getting ready.
As I went there my rest of the friend complimented me but varun is ignoring me for a reason I don’t know. Whatever it is today I decided to give him my first kiss.
After almost 3 hours, now its time for me to give a modern solo dance and I will be singing myself some of the parts. This idea is of my music teacher he want me to show my both talent.
As the anchor announced my name I got too nervous, I looked in varun’s direction, he didn’t even looked my side, I felt disappointment but all my friends cheered for me as I went to stage I spotted my parents a well as my brother cheering for me.
“I have to do my best for them”I said in my mind and looked towards the band and nodded at them.
