Chapter 61 The locker

Chapter 61 The locker
Elara
“It’s me,” I yelled I walked into the shower, and I knew I was late. I was supposed to meet him in the locker room but I came late. The locker room was filled with everyone, I had Nathan check, and he told me Landon is in the shower.
He is making sure no one walks in.

“You came,” Landon mumbled and I smiled. “Wait, I don’t want you to get wet.” He turned off the water, and my eyes roamed over his body. I felt a wave of heat when he came out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist.

“I had one little thing to take care of, I’m sorry I’m late,” I mumbled, I didn’t care if I was to get wet, it was all worth it, he was there for me today and tonight I’m here for him. I didn’t want to go home either and I made plans with Clara to spend the night at her home.

“You look perfect.” I smiled.

His hand softly wrapped around my waist, and I felt a shiver run down my spine as he placed a gentle kiss on my cheek.

His lips brushed against my cheek, a little longer than I anticipated and he stared at me.

“More than you do.” He asked. “As much as I would like to do nothing but bend you over Elara, we have to get to the locker room.”

“If you win tonight, you get to fuck me anywhere you want.”

His eyes darkened at the mere mention of that.
Is Landon Hayes dark?

A twisted mind, what didn’t I know about my boyfriend?

“Anywhere.” I breathed out. “You pick the time and place,” I mumbled against my breath and he nodded.
—-
“You came.” One of my classmates mumbled as she saw me settling beside Nathan. “You came to watch your ex-boyfriend’s match, is it weird?”

I was tempted to yell at her but I can’t.

“Nathan dragged me here, just because we broke up doesn’t mean I don’t support the school or the team, I still want us to win, I know it’s going to mean a lot to our school, to our town,” I said and she mumbled a yeah right.

Our plan was simple, after the match, before they celebrate, I’m going to leave with Nathan, and Landon will find me at Clara’s home, anyone else in school will think I could not stand watching him be happy, so I left.

My eyes stared at the big screen, everyone was cheering and shouting, many wore Landon’s jersey and I could see some random girls chanting his name. I felt a wave of jealousy creeping through my mind and my eyes looked away from them.

“I have news,” I yelled to Nathan. “I got into the last stage.” I breathed out, Nathan’s eyes snapped open in shock, and he looked at me like he had seen a ghost. “I hope I win.”

“Bitch you better be joking, you are going to win, there is no way in hell you would lose.” He yelled with a smile, I wish I could tell him the truth about graduating early, fuck it’s going to come out soon, I don’t want anyone to know until I’m ready to tell Landon.

I have a feeling I will soon, once I win, I need to win.

My attention snapped to the game, this time Landon didn’t stare at me like he always does, I could tell he wanted to, Dylan made the first two scores, the crowd cheered when Javier scored the third one and Landon gave us a last goal, it was perfect.

The team retired after a while for half-time and I didn’t leave, I didn’t want to give anyone a reason to think I went to meet Landon, it took seven minutes before the second half started.
——
“What a game! I am glad I pulled you out here and not Paul.” He smiled. “By the way don’t tell him we came, he will feel betrayed.”

“What if I tell Clara?”

“She hates Javier and anything that has to do with him, I am surprised she didn’t come, she is done with him this time.” He smiled and I playfully rolled my eyes at him.
——-
I got to Clara’s in no time and I texted mom about it, she didn’t reply, I made sure to shoot a text to Vivian and she texted back instantly reminding me my mom had told my dad and they are mad at me, she also wrote she is proud of me.

“So you stood up to her,” Clara asked.

“Yes. I’m leaving anyway, and I would be damned if I let them control me again, they never tried to listen to my side, they never cared what I wanted, remember when we were kids and all I wanted was a princess-themed birthday party.”

“Your mother turned it into something else and she made it all about herself, and made it look like it was your idea to have that boring party,” Clara asked and I nodded.

I was about to utter a word when we heard a knock on the door, and Clara’s mom Camilla came into view

“There’s a boy downstairs looking for Elara, is that your boyfriend, Landon Hayes?” She asked

Of course, she knew Landon, he was like a local celebrity.

I blushed.

“Mom, let her be.”

“He is in the living room, waiting for you and are you going out on a date, don’t tell me you are wearing that. Clara, give her something good to wear.”

“I am okay.” I smiled.

“Nonsense, these times are precious and if you look back, I want you to look back and smile, realise you look great.” She added, she wasted no time in heading into Clara’s closet and she pulled out a short dress with shoes, she had a smile on her face as she picked out a jacket to go with it.

“I will keep him company, change, and you keep Clara updated at all times so we know you are safe.”

I paused

My heart skipped a beat

Why can’t my mom be this supportive?

“How are you comfortable with that?”

“You are of age and so is he, there is nothing wrong with it and you are a smart woman, you need to make your own choices and if I say you don’t get to go, I am certain you will jump out the window and find your way to him, I’m happier knowing I know where you are” she smiled

I wanted to hug her, I didn’t want to make it weird, I forgot how comfortable she always makes me feel, I forgot how happy I am whenever I am in their home.
—-
Clara’s mom made sure to tell us to use condoms while Landon and I were leaving the house and my face crept up with a smile.
“Where are we going?”

“To fulfill the promise you made to me.” He mumbled. “I have thought about this all day. I should have even been here earlier but I had to take care of something.”

“Celebration with the team,” I asked and he smiled at me, they were so close to losing but it all changed when one of the other opposing team members ended up getting upset and tried to get physical, they got kicked out of the game, I didn’t expect that from them.

Landon drove us to a library. It was closed, I could tell by the lights being out, it was usually open till midnight during exams.

“Really, this is your fantasy Landon Hayes.”

Who would have thought?

“Landon Hayes fantasy is to have sex in a library, is this with people in it or rather people not in it,” I asked.

“Keep teasing me, you are going to beg me quite soon.” He stated and I rolled my eyes at him, I wanted that too.

He knew where the keys were, how long had he had this fantasy? He took us in, we didn’t turn on the lights, instead he used his phone’s light, he walked us further into the library before he turned on one light.

“The arts section Landon Hayes,” I asked with a smile on my face, there were books about the arts, some of them I had read, many I could recall any sentence in a heartbeat.

“You have to be quiet.”

“There is no one here, nobody is going to hear us.”

“The janitors stays here, in the basement and we don’t need him knowing we are here, you better be quiet and don’t let us get caught.”

“That depends.”

I had my back against the shelf and Landon stood in front of me, his eyes darkened with lust when he slipped his hand down my dress and it stopped on my mid thigh.

“You make me lose my mind, Quinn.”

I didn’t wear any panties, it was Clara’s idea.
