Chapter 234 Mr. Brown, could it be your wife coming?
"Can't I control you anymore, is that it?"
"Are all actresses this weird? Why do I feel like there's something wrong with her brain? She's completely different from what I see in TV dramas."
The nurse muttered to the side as Amara picked up her cup and took a sip of water.
She said slowly, "Forget about her."
Nora left the hospital with an ugly expression on her face. Before she could even vent her emotions, Linda called: "Aaron wants you back on set to make up the scenes you missed. Thalia's scenes are almost done, Gregory has been diligently staying on set, and you're the only one constantly wandering around. Put aside whatever you're dealing with for now."
"Don't give people too many things to criticize you for, or it'll work against us."
Nora was unwilling, but she had no choice.
Every single thing in front of her was important. If she messed up, she was done for.
Completely done for.

"What's your plan for today?" William made a point of pulling Thalia out of bed early in the morning before heading out.
Thalia rubbed her eyes, looking at the neatly dressed William in a daze. When the light scent of hair gel reached her nose, Thalia took a few deep breaths: "Sleep."
William was amused by her lazy response: "You're really lazy."
"Can't help it, I'm sleep deprived," she needed to catch up on sleep for two days, or she wouldn't be able to get up Monday morning to record the variety show.
"Want to sleep somewhere else?"
"Where?"
"A luxurious big bed," William looked at Thalia with complete sincerity.
William's serious yet slightly suggestive expression made Thalia fall for it immediately.
He was seducing her. William knew she couldn't resist this.
Half an hour later.......
Thalia looked at the rest room in William's office and held back the curse word about to burst out: "This is what you call a luxurious big bed?"
"Isn't it luxurious?" William stood at the door with his arms crossed, looking at Thalia while suppressing a smile.
"Mr. Brown, you're such a jerk."
"Right back at you," William walked into the rest room, thoughtfully drawing the curtains, half-hugging Thalia's waist and pushing her onto the bed.
Thalia wasn't about to back down either. She reached out and grabbed William's tie, forcing William to fall down with her: "Mr. Brown, the bed's big, I'm a bit lonely. Why don't you arrange something for me?"
William propped himself up and looked at Thalia, asking gently, "What do you want?"
"I'd say I've done my share of good deeds in this life. I know I don't deserve anything too outrageous, so let's go with something ordinary!"
"Like?" William raised an eyebrow, knowing Thalia's real point was coming.
"A hot guy with eight-pack abs."
William's eyes lowered, and he reached out to free his tie from her hand: "That dream is too ordinary, not worthy of the princess. Think again, take your time while you sleep."
Thalia lay on the bed looking at William standing by the window adjusting his tie. She stretched out her foot toward places it shouldn't go, stirring up William's desire.
"Mr. Brown might as well just tell me to dream about it. I'm not that dense."
William finished adjusting his tie and grasped Thalia's pale foot, his fingertips playing with her toes. When his rough fingertips touched Thalia's soft sole, it tickled her so much she shivered.
"What are you doing? Let go."
"Don't you like playing around?" William frowned and asked coldly.
"You......" Thalia's laughter, both pained and pleasurable, echoed in the rest room. Brian came to deliver documents and, seeing William's office door open, walked right in. Before he could call out, hearing those sounds scared him stiff. He turned around hastily with the documents, only to walk straight into the glass.
Only then did William release Thalia's hand and leave the rest room, seeing Brian crouching on the floor frantically picking up documents.
"Why are you panicking?"
"No... nothing," how could he not panic in this situation? Was he supposed to wait to get fired?
It's over, it's over. He heard something he shouldn't have. Would his career end here?
If he got fired, where would he find such a good boss?
Thalia poked her head out from the rest room and saw Brian anxiously picking things up off the floor. She pinched her voice and called out: "Mr. Brown, with all this commotion, is your wife here?"
Brian: ........ He's dead. He caught the boss cheating. Thalia with a knife is probably already on her way.
William: .........
Brian left the office before William went back into the rest room. As soon as he entered, he saw Thalia with her arms crossed, barefoot, leaning against the wall with a look of amusement: "Do you think they'll assume you're cheating?"
William tugged at his lips, not directly responding to Thalia's question, but instead lowered his head and bit her neck.
The pain made Thalia gasp. She said, "Whatever. I'll make my own decisions."

Gregory finished work and wanted a drink of water, only to find his cup empty. He kicked Luca, who was next to him playing games on his phone.
Luca glanced at him while busy: "Can you get your own water?"
"Thalia's playing games with me!"
Gregory had already started moving when he heard the first sentence, but stopped when Luca's second sentence came out. He reached out and took the phone from Luca's hand: "You go get water, I'll play for you."

Luca wanted to say something, but Gregory gave him a look.
"Fine!" Who told you you're the boss.
"If you're this obvious, Thalia will know you like her."
"Luca, are you looking for a new boss?"
Luca: .........
"Luca said Gregory likes Thalia?" Nora had just finished filming a scene with Gregory and was letting the makeup artist fix her makeup.
The assistant nodded: "Yes! I heard Luca say it himself."
Nora's hand gripped her cup tightly: "How is Thalia worthy of Gregory's affection."
At noon, after playing games all morning, Thalia was pulled out of the rest room by William to eat.
They picked a sushi restaurant. Just as they sat down, they saw Daniel arriving with people, followed by a fresh-looking girl, probably just graduated from college or still in school. The girl followed closely behind him.
Thalia turned her head, about to ask William who the girl was, but saw William's gaze fixed elsewhere.
Thalia followed William's gaze. Through the silk screen, even from the side profile, you could tell who it was.
Eleanor had been flying back and forth between Lumaria and Emerald City recently. Moving the whole family wasn't easy. When she couldn't get close to William in Emerald City's business circles, she had to take a roundabout approach and butter up someone else.
And clearly, the person Eleanor was buttering up now was someone William knew.
