Chapter Twenty-Six
Becky woke up to a hard naked chest with the blanket covering half of her. She shut her eyes to the morning light once again, hating how she reacted to it.
How much she hated mornings. She groaned and sat up before taking in her surroundings. The place sure smells rich and my God look at that massive television!
She panicked. Where the heck was she? She looked around only to catch the eyes of the man that owned the nice body she slept on. She quickly drew the blanket to her chest to cover up.
"Good morning to you too," She was so busy looking around when she woke up to discover that he had leaned against the head board with his hands behind his head.
"Where the hell am I?" She asked.
"Don't you remember? Last night? The party?" He tried to make her remember and when he saw her grimace after seconds of thinking, he smirked.
"You were pretty wide last night not that I’m not complaining but—"
"Oh shut up Henry you're going to give me a headache!" And just about then, the pound came in her head and he couldn't help but chuckle.
She glared at him. "What's funny?"
Henry shook his head forgetting to take off the smirk he still had on and she rolled her eyes. He reached for something on the night stand and handed the aspirin to her. "Here, I knew you would be needing it."
She looked at him hesitatingly before taking it from him and taking it along with the glass of water on the nightstand.
"You don't look shaken up." She avoided his gaze when she said this, already feeling nervous from the look he was giving her.
"I didn't drink much, unlike you." He told her and she nodded. "Let me guess, guy trouble?"
"You know you should mind your business and stick with what you are good at." She snapped.
He raised a brow at her. "And what would that be?"
"How would I know, it's not like I follow you around." She told him and he sighed.
"Hey look, following you that day was a one-time thing, okay?" he said. "And I didn't like what I saw, how can you of all people be in an abusive relationship!"
"It was the first time he hit me okay," she retorted.
"First time or not, I've been watching you and it's not like you to just stay quiet."
"And who are you to meddle in my relationship? Like I said what I do, doesn't concern you."
"Off course it does, I can't help who I get attracted to and for your information I do not hit women."
"How does that concern me, Henry? For all I care, you'll just be like all of them."
He didn't take it just yet, he locked his lips with her once more not giving her chance to object. How could she think so low of him? She fell flat on the bed allowing him to hook his legs between hers deepening the kiss.
She moved in sync with him replaying the events of last night. But the phone rang to interrupt them, and that was when she realized that this man could control her with just his kisses. How could she make the same mistake over again? Was she that stupid?!
She did something her brain didn't even process. Out of reflex, she hit him hard on the face and got away from him immediately.
"Stay far away from me, do you hear me? Don't think what happened between us will ever repeat itself again. It was just a one-time thing, and I hope it stays that way."
His dumbstruck look transformed into something more like frustration. He combed his hair with his hands and sighed watching her pick up her discarded clothes before putting them on and walking out of the room.
He picked up the phone and picked the call pinching his nose in frustration.
"Daniel?" He said.
"Yah, I did as you asked. It just aggravated the matter. Shit! I'm ruined."

Phone rings....
He just wasn't picking up. Clara imagined him watching the phone ring until it stopped.
'Just pick up one more time,' she paced.
She combed her hair in frustration finally giving up that he wasn't going to speak to her one last time. She thought of texting but he was like her, they did a terrible job at replying.
Her heart skipped twice when she saw the ID of the caller.
He was calling...

'Go on a date with me,'
Clarissa remembered his words like it was just now. She collapsed on the bed with a loud sigh and her cheeks full of blushes.
She squealed in excitement. She couldn't wait for him to come back from his business meeting. He did say it would take time by the way, so she had all the time to prepare. She had to look her best.
'By the way,' she remembered him saying last night. 'You look more dashing with hair down, ready to be wrapped around my fingers'
She giggled in happiness. It had been quite a while since she felt this way. They spent all night together talking and making out and the next morning, she still hadn't had her fill just yet. She felt like she was dreaming. She pulled him back to her to plant a kiss on his cheek when he wanted to head out already. He smirked in return.
"Can't get enough of me yet, can you?" He asked. His bright green gaze darted to her lips in contemplation. Just then, he didn't want to leave again. His thumb grazed her lower lip leaving a tingling feeling in her. Her breath hitched in her throat and she swallowed hard. Soon, they were no longer having a cheeky grin on them but a look of cloudy lustful visions. He inched closer to her.
"I will try my best to not be gone for too long." He murmured. His eyes not moving away from her lips. She only nodded slightly inching closer to close the distance between them.
His full lips closed around hers. They were velvety soft and warm, making her grab his face in her palms wanting more. They melted into the kiss and after a while pulled back to stare at each other.
"I'm going to be late," he told her. Still, he didn't make a move to look away from her tempting lips.
"This is me leaving," he said again. His hands left her chin to take her hair behind her ear.
"I can definitely see that." She replied as a smile gently crept into her face.
"Well, I better go." He said and his hands reluctantly left her face and he moved away from her.
"Bye," she said and waved before the door was shut against her.
She smiled at the memory. She was really in love, no doubt. She combed her hair with her fingers before getting up to check the time.
Time to get ready then…

He gave her a smile and opened the door allowing her to step into the car.
"Thank you." She said and he went over to the other side to get into the car.
He asked, "Had fun when I was away?"
"Not really, I went for a stroll and came back home that's all." He nodded stealing a glance at her. She caught him but looked away eventually.
For the second time she stole another glance at him, he was quick to avert his gaze.
"What?"
"It's nothing," he replied returning his attention to the road.
He cleared his throat. "You look…" she raised a brow when he didn't finish his sentence.
"I look what? Don't tell you are going to start your teasing again." She rolled her eyes and he just smiled the more not taking his eyes off the road.
"I wasn't going to say something nasty. I do like the dress a lot."
"So what were you going to say?"
"I was going to say that you," he paid more attention to her but kept his eyes on the road. "You look beautiful, fuck me, you always look beautiful!"
