Chapter 62
Reyna and Lyra posed happily, trying to capture every happy moment. After a few photos were taken, they returned to the crowd of guests watching the wedding ceremony. The atmosphere grew even more lively as the bride and groom began to perform the wedding rituals.
Throughout the ceremony, Reyna couldn't help but reflect on her and Lyra's journey. They had been through tough times, but their friendship had always been the light at the end of the tunnel. Now, watching Lyra step into a new chapter in her life, Reyna felt proud and happy.
After the ceremony, the event continued with the reception. The music played softly, and the guests began to dance. Reyna and Aryan joined the crowd, enjoying every second of the happiness. Reyna felt a sense of happiness overflowing in her heart. She was grateful to have a friend like Lyra and a husband who always supported her.
As the night grew late, Reyna and Aryan sat at the table, enjoying the delicious food that was served. They talked about the future and their respective dreams. Reyna felt lucky to have Aryan by her side, someone who always supported her in every step of her life.
However, in the midst of that happiness, Reyna could not ignore the feeling of nostalgia that enveloped her heart. She remembered all the beautiful memories she shared with Lyra, and how quickly time had passed. The two of them were now on different paths, but Reyna was determined to always be there for her friend, no matter how far apart they were.
As the wedding drew to a close, Reyna and Lyra met again. They hugged each other again, feeling the warmth of a friendship that would never fade. "I will always support you, no matter what," Reyna said sincerely.
Lyra smiled, her eyes sparkling. "I know, Reyna. And I will always be there for you."
Reyna felt that their friendship was the most valuable treasure. Even though life took them in different directions, the bond they had would always be strong. And on this happy day, Reyna promised to continue celebrating every precious moment with her best friend, Lyra.
Reyna and Aryan had just finished a long day. After a day at Lyra's wedding, they both decided to go home. However, when they were in the car, Reyna suddenly felt a strong desire to eat something spicy.
"Hey, Aryan," she said while looking at her husband with sparkling eyes, "I want to eat spicy food."
Aryan frowned. "That's unusual, Reyna. Usually you don't like spicy food," he replied while glancing at Reyna.
Reyna just smiled and shrugged. "I don't know, maybe today I need something different. Come on, let's find a restaurant that has spicy food!"
Aryan nodded, although he still felt surprised. He then drove to the nearest restaurant that was famous for its spicy dishes. Upon arrival, Reyna immediately walked excitedly to the table and quickly opened the menu.
"Here it is! I want this, and this, and this!" Reyna pointed to several dishes that all looked appetizing and of course spicy. Aryan could only shake his head while smiling at Reyna's enthusiasm.
After a few minutes, their orders arrived. Reyna couldn't wait to taste the food she had ordered. She took a bite of the first dish, and her face immediately lit up. "Wow, this is so delicious!" she exclaimed as she devoured it greedily.
Aryan, who was sitting in front of her, began to feel the spiciness from the aroma of the food served. "Reyna, be careful. It's really spicy!" he remembered, although Reyna didn't seem to care.
Reyna just laughed, "I know, but this is exactly what I want! It makes me feel alive!" She continued eating, and Aryan could only watch in awe and a little worry.
Every bite Reyna took seemed to make her more excited. She tried every dish on the table, from chili paste to smashed chicken with super spicy chili sauce. Aryan, who usually likes spicy food, felt that this was beyond his limits.
"Reyna, are you sure you can finish all that?" he asked, half worried.
"Don't worry, Aryan! I can!" Reyna replied with a big smile. She took a glass of water to reduce the spiciness that was starting to sting her tongue, but it did not reduce her enthusiasm to continue eating.
Aryan could only shake his head, feeling proud and worried at the same time. He knew very well that Reyna usually didn't like spicy food, but today everything seemed different. Maybe something had changed her taste.
After a while, Reyna finally finished all the food she ordered. She looked satisfied and happy, although her face was a little red from the spiciness. Aryan was also happy to see Reyna enjoying her food.
"How does it taste?" Aryan asked with a smile.
"Spicy, but delicious! I've never felt this satisfied before," Reyna replied with a slightly out of breath.
They finished their dinner with small talk and laughter. Aryan was happy to see Reyna so happy, even though he himself had to endure the spiciness that was still lingering on his tongue.
After paying, they left the restaurant. Reyna looked excited and full of energy, while Aryan felt a little tired after watching Reyna enjoy her spicy food.
On the way home, Reyna kept talking about the spicy food she had just tried. "I have to go back to that restaurant again! Maybe next time we can invite friends," she said excitedly.
Aryan just nodded in agreement, even though in his heart he hoped Reyna would not ask for spicy food too often. However, seeing the happiness on Reyna's face, he knew that it was all worth it.
That night, when they arrived home, Reyna felt satisfied and happy. She not only enjoyed the spicy food she wanted, but also the precious moment with Aryan. And even though Aryan felt a little burned on his tongue, he knew that Reyna's happiness was the most important thing.
"Thank you, Aryan. Today was so much fun," Reyna said while hugging her husband.
"Always, Reyna. As long as you don't ask for spicy food every day," Aryan replied with a laugh.
They both laughed together, enjoying the little moments that made their day more colorful.
