A city-bred data analyst, Clara Vance, inherits a secluded cabin in the rugged Colorado Rockies from her eccentric Aunt Bea. Intent on disposing of the property so she can get back to her stable, calculated life in Denver, she finds it difficult to let it go when she uncovers a dangerous environmental conspiracy and a reclusive, protective wildlife photographer, Ethan Kincaid, haunted by an unspoken past, is intertwined with the very secrets she's uncovered.
