Chapter 54 54

Chapter 54 54

Evening came in a haste, the sky turning deep dark quick. Azxel walked out of his room in his pajamas and his wet hair dripping droplets of water down his neck. He headed to the kitchen for water.

But something caught his attention. Jaelen’s room door was slightly ajar, light from inside coming out in thin flashes. Azxel was drawn towards the room door.

He pushed it open and walked inside. Everywhere was neatly arranged. Jaelen’s room had no flaws as expected. He was damn flawless.

What caught Azxel’s attention was Jaelen’s sleeping figure in the bed. Azxel walked closer, taking a glance. Jaelen’s facial features were relaxed but his brows were drawn downward like if he was battling with dreams. His long lashes fluttered.

Azxel’s hand moved instinctively towards Jaelen’s eyes and started caressing his lashes, the dark strips of long hair was tempting to pull, but it wad evil to pull right? Then his hands travelled upward to his brows, drawing lines at the neatly and perfectly arranged brows, then his lips subconsciously moved on their own to Jaelen’s nose. His little tint of freckles that wasn’t noticeable before were there attractive and cute, then Azxel’s lips moved toward the little plump pink lips of Jaelen.

Then he started fumbling trying to open up Jaelen’s mouth slowly, slowly but he couldn’t so he went on trying harshly till Jaelen’s eyes opened slowly. Jaelen stared at space as he let Azxel do whatever he felt with his lips.

Jaelen’s hand wrapped around Azxel’s head as he closed his eyes enjoying the kiss.

“Shit, Do you want to get sick?” He asked pulling away softly.

Azxel stared at him as he pushed up from the bed taking a sit. Azxel didn’t answer, he just went closer to kiss Jaelen’s lips again but Jaelen dodged. Azxel tried again but Jaelen held him back.

“Your hair is wet, let’s get it dried. Ok?”

Azxel frowned. “I don’t care.”

Jaelen didn’t answer right away. He stood up and took the small black towel from the door hook. He came behind Azxel and made him sit on the chair by the desk.

Azxel sat stiffly.

Jaelen draped the towel over Azxel’s head and started rubbing gently. From roots to ends, careful not to pull. Slow and neat like everything he did.

Azxel stared at the wall, his jaw tight. He didn’t want to think about anything. By anything, we know he meant Sky.

He didn’t want to think about Sky, but yet..

The silence stayed long. Then Azxel spoke small. “You didn’t push me away.”

Jaelen’s hands paused small.

“No.”

“Why?”

Jaelen exhaled soft through nose. “Because you came into my room yourself and because you touched my face and because I didn’t want to be the reason you run back to your room and lock the door again.”

Azxel closed his eyes under the towel.

Jaelen kept drying, softer now.

When the hair was only damp, and the moist had reduced. Jaelen dropped the towel on the desk and came to front.

He crouched so their eyes were the same levele.

Azxel opened his eyes.

Jaelen looked at him long and quiet. Then he said in a low voice, “If you kiss me again right now… I won’t dodge.”

Azxel’s breath caught.

He didn’t move first. He just looked, like he was checking if this was safe, if he could want it without pain coming later.

Then slowly he leaned forward.

Jaelen met him halfway.

This time it was soft without rush.

Jaelen’s hand found the side of Azxel’s neck, his thumb resting light on his pulse.

The kissing went on and on, slow at first, mouths brushing careful like they were both still testing if this was real. Jaelen’s thumb stayed on Azxel’s pulse, feeling it race under skin. Azxel’s hands stayed loose at his sides for a moment, then one lifted, his fingers curling into the front of Jaelen’s shirt, bunching the fabric tight.

Then something shifted.

The kiss turned harsh and hungry. Their teeth clashed and their lips smacked too hard. Azxel pushed forward, Jaelen met him with equal force. No more careful breathing, now it was desperate, like air was running out.

Azxel’s other hand slid up Jaelen’s neck, his fingers digging into hair at the back, pulling him closer. Jaelen’s hands moved too, one gripped Azxel’s waist hard, the other slid under the damp hem of his pajama shirt, his palm flat against Azxel’s skin, warm and rough.

They stumbled backward together.

Azxel’s back hit the edge of the desk. Papers shifted small but neither cared. Jaelen pressed in, thigh sliding between Azxel’s legs, pinning him there. Azxel gasped into the kiss, his mouth opening wider, tongue pushing deep.

Hands went everywhere.

Azxel yanked at Jaelen’s shirt, pulling it up, fingers scraping over ribs, then down to the waistband of his shorts. Jaelen hissed small against his mouth. His own hand travelled higher under Azxel’s shirt, thumb brushing over a nipple, then pinching light. Azxel arched, breaking the kiss for one sharp breath, head falling back.

Jaelen’s mouth moved to his neck instead. Teeth grazed skin, then sucked hard enough to leave mark. Azxel’s fingers tightened in Jaelen’s hair, pulling him closer, hips rolling forward instinctive.

Jaelen groaned low, the sound vibrating against Azxel’s throat.

They moved again stumbling toward the bed. Azxel’s legs hit the mattress first. He fell back, pulling Jaelen down with him. Jaelen caught himself on elbows but didn’t stop. His mouth found Azxel’s again, rougher now and his hands shoved shirts up and off, fabric landing somewhere on the floor.

Skin on skin.

Azxel’s nails dragged down Jaelen’s back, leaving faint red lines. Jaelen’s hand slipped lower, palming Azxel through his pajama pants, squeezing firm. Azxel bucked up into the touch, small broken sound escaping his throat.

Jaelen pulled back just enough to look at him.
Eyes dark, breathing ragged. “Tell me to stop if it’s too much.”

Azxel stared up, chest heaving. His hand came up, cupped Jaelen’s jaw rough. “Don’t.”

Jaelen’s mouth crashed back down.

Hands kept moving, exploring, claiming, frantic. Pants pushed down just enough and skin sliding against skin, heat building fast. No words left, only sounds, gasps and moans swallowed into kisses, the wet slide of mouths and bodies pressing too close.

The lamp stayed on, casting long shadows across the bed.

They didn’t stop until exhaustion hit, and their bodies tangled, breaths slowing against each other’s necks.

Azxel’s fingers stayed curled in Jaelen’s hair even after everything quieted.

Jaelen pressed one last soft kiss to his temple.

“Sleep,” he murmured, his voice wrecked.

Azxel didn’t answer. He just closed his eyes, his body finally heavy, calm in a way it hadn’t been for days.

Jaelen pulled the sheet over them both.

The room stayed quiet after that.
