Jackson's Error

Jackson's Error
Jackson hung up his cell phone and took a deep breath, “There’s been a change in plans.” He let out a long sigh. I knew they wouldn’t make this easy. Then he turned to the man standing in front of him. Tall. Broad shoulders. Bridgette’s type of guy. He is more or less just a brute. “You find her?”
“We haven’t tried the basement yet.” His voice was charred and smokey.
“Come on. You’re wasting my time here. What’s your name?”
“Joe.”
“Well, Joe. Just make sure you have gloves on and have the hood ready. This is a special case. She has a… medical condition. Whatever you do, don’t look into her eyes or touch her skin. Got it?”
Joe nodded, his eyes curious, but not so curious as to ignore the orders.
They walked into the kitchen where the only door to the basement was located. The basement, like many older homes, had been for food storage. At Bellafont, the basement served many purposes over the years. From a root cellar to a slave breeding room, and for as long as Jackson could remember it often imprisoned insolent slaves, servants, and even unruly guests who needed a day away from their liquor.
Jackson pulled the basement door open and crept down the stairs with Joe following close behind. As Jackson reached the bottom steps he could see that the cell door was cracked open and he saw Lenora on the floor, her legs free, but her arms pinned over her head.
“What’s the new plan?” Joe whispered.
“Hold your breath. Don’t breathe her in,” Jackson hissed back. He tiptoed quietly into the cell, but as Jackson drew near, she groaned and her eye lids fluttered open.
“Wh-who’s there?” she asked. The cloth willow stuffed in her mouth lay alongside her head. For a moment Jackson was captured by her beauty. Even after 150 years he had trouble looking away. , But he fought his urges and covered her head with a black silk hood.
“What’s going on?” she kicked into the air, and Joe caught one leg but her second knocked the burlap sack from his hand.
“Don’t touch her skin,” Jackson called out to Joe.
“Jackson?” Lenora’s eyes scoured the room. The fear and shock in her voice was palatable.
“Lenora,” Guilt gnawed away at his soul. “Don’t make this any harder than it has to be.”
Joe stepped past Jackson and allowed Jackson to move to the back of the cell. He leaned down pinning her head against the bed. Her kicks became more frenzied and he put more pressure her head trying to hold her down. “Now stay still woman, or else I’m gonna have to do to you what we did to your sister.”
Jackson was trying to break his relationship to the sisters. It had been so long that even at his worst he struggled to separate what he considered business from his personal needs.
After a struggle, Joe held her firmly down. She stopped kicking, and Jackson who had tried to hold her legs felt her body stiffen.
“What did you do to my sister?” Lenora called out.
“Well she is on her way to the Gastineau’s and well, you...”
“What about me?”
“They don’t need you. And as much as I love fucking you, I gotta do what they tell me to.”
Jackson slipped the burlap bag over her face. He pulled the manacles free before he snaked his arm under her chin and leaned back. “I’m so sorry. It has been a ride though, hasn’t it?”
Her cry was cut short as his arm shut off her breathing. She fought harder against him, but Joe held her legs down. She scratched and clawed at Jackson’s arm, but protests became weaker with each moment.
“Please...Jackson...” she croaked.
Jackson fought back tears as she wriggled once more and then lay still. “Night ‘Chere,” he said before he trailed a finger around each of her nipples. They were firm as blood and adrenaline still move within her.
Jackson dug into his pocket and pulled a key ring, and tossed it to Joe. “The big silver key.” He pointed to the chains around Lenora’s wrists. “I’m gonna get a shovel. Take her up and meet me in the backyard.” He walked out of the room and started up the stairs. He never looked back as he left the dank smell of the basement. He was too afraid to look at the body he once loved.
Joe stared down at her, “Damn, shame if you ask me,” he unlocked her chains. “She was one hot bitch.” He reached down to hoist her body over his shoulders when her eyes snapped open. His breath caught in his throat as her bloodshot eyes locked on his.
“I still am,” she said.
“Bu-but-” He stammered as the mist of something unknown wrapped around his throat, tightening its grip like a python. The ghostly strength hoisted him into the air. She watched as he writhed against the magic which choked him until his body grew still. With a wave of her hand Lenora tossed his body headfirst into the cell’s stone wall. She snatched the key still in the lock of her shackles. Walked into a corner of the cell. Let her loose clothing fall to the floor until she stood naked in her entirety. She kneeled down, muttered secret words she hadn’t used in over a century. With the key she gently scraped a symbol. A circle, a candle, and the wispy line over them. When done she went up the stairs.

Jackson stood on the porch at Bellafont and lit a cigarette. He found two spades in the tool shed and leaned them against a post. He looked out into the night as a chorus of crickets sang under the moonlight. He took another drag on his cigarette when he heard his name.
He looked around and saw nothing in the darkness. But he did feel a chill straighten the fibrous hairs along his spine. “Joe?”
Then he heard his name again.
The lights in the house flickered. Jackson stepped into the old plantation home. There was the hard tap of his boots as he took conspicuous steps toward the light switch. But before he could flip a switch the lights went out. His name was spoken again. He placed his hand on the butt of his gun, slowly moving his finger toward the trigger.
Then he froze.
Lenora stood naked in the kitchen doorway facing Jackson. Her long hair draped her shoulders, the humidity causing them to cling to her breasts, allowing the tips of her nipples to poke through. Her body seemed to drip as if she’d stepped out of the bath. Without moving her legs she smoothly glided toward Jackson, sliding along the hardwood floorboards. He didn’t move.
“I killed you,” he uttered as if trying to convince himself.
She continued to move closer. Lenora’s fragrance was intoxicating as he felt his cock harden the moment she wrapped her arms around his neck.
“And I forgive you,” she was breathless before their lips met. He tried to pull back, but she held him close. Passionately. And he fell into her kiss. As if practiced a thousand times before - which it had been - he discarded his clothing. Their lips never parted. The gun that he’d seconds before had been holding fell in a thump along with his pants.
“I want to taste you Jackson.” Lenora pulled his naked body to the floor. She grabbed him by the shaft and led him downward. She took him into her mouth and felt him harden between her skillful moist lips. Her hand wrapped around his bulging member and stroked him.
He grunted as her passion forced his hips to rise and meet her strokes. She mounted him and gently guided his cock between her dripping folds. They both cried out in bliss as their skin met in a passionate frenzy.
He couldn’t take his eyes away from hers as her head fell back and she began to bounce upon him with wild abandon.
“Fuck me,” Her voice echoed around the entirety of the house as their lips melded together.
Jackson took hold of Lenora’s ass and began to bounce her up and down his length as he grew harder with each firm thrust.
“Make me come Jackson.”
He screamed her name as he exploded into her molten core. A sharp pain seized his heart and his breath caught in his chest. He fell backward as his orgasm peaked and spurted into his lover.
“Come baby,” she said as his orgasm continued to race through his body, and the world around him began to spin.
“I can’t… I… can’t breathe...” he rasped.
Lenora floated to her feet and hovered above him. She glistened. “Neither could I.”
Jackson reached out for her. He raised his head, but was unable to move his arms. His legs seemed pinned to the floor. His diaphragm swelled in pain. His desperate eyes darted in endless directions as he gasped for air one final time. His head hit the floor with a final blow to the skull. Then Lenora watched his soulless eyes stare open and blank at the ornate detail of the tin ceiling tiles ten feet above.
In the corner of the room, a smile emerged. The misty ethereal figure of a young girl watched her beloved sister linger above Jackson.
