Voodoo Bitches

Voodoo Bitches
Junior walked into Theroit’s bar and stood in the doorway.
Cutter lingered behind near the front door. Quick escape. Quick escape. hit Cutter’s mind as much as the anxiety that pumped blood through his chest.
The bar was seemingly empty. Junior listened carefully, closing his eyes for better focus as his brother Evan had taught him. Then, soft as whispers, though he doubted they were whispering, Junior heard voices from the kitchen. He didn’t want to surprise anyone and gently cleared his voice to announce their presence. No need to have a second random gunfight in the same day.
“Be right there.” Her voice was charming and innocent. Not revealing her nefarious nature. Lenora knew how to handle herself until she didn’t. Junior had had a crush on her the first day he saw her standing in front of her home as he ran a tractor across the lawn. She was licking a lollypop, staring at him, while he and Evan did yard work. But his brother slacked off from working so he could talk to the woman, and eventually win her heart.
And that pissed Junior off.
“I ain’t got all day.” Junior walked deeper into the establishment and up to the bar. His eyes darted around trying to catch a glimpse of something. What? He didn’t know. Anything that would have indicated his brother had not only been there, but that the two sisters knew where he was.
Metal on metal clanged - pots - before the doors swung open, and the beauty he could never get enough of stood wiping her hands on a towel.
“Junior, what brings you here?” She wore a clingy sundress as always. Green, flowered, and seemingly hemmed to reveal her curvature. Her hair danced in the breeze of the fan above like corn hair freshly husked.
He cleared his throat again. This time swept in her presence. “Yeah, uh, have you seen Evan?”
Her face twisted into a frown. “No, his cheating ass ran off after I caught him fucking around on me.”
The front door shut and Lenora looked up. “Was someone else here?” Her frown dropped to Junior. Her eyes scanning him, “what’s this all about Junior? You snooping around or something?”
“No, no. That was just my boy Cutter. He wanted a smoke and I wanted to come in here. Probably just tired of waiting on me.” She seemed to buy his story and her body smoothed out, loosing the fiery tension. “Really? How in the world could anyone ever fuck around on you?”
She shook her head. “I don’t know baby. You want a drink?”
He accepted, knowing the kind of drink that was served in Theroit’s.
“Well darlin’, let me clean off my hands, and I’ll come back to whip you up something,”
He watched the sway of her hips as she disappeared into the kitchen. He looked at the front door, and hoped Cutter had the presence of mind to keep away for awhile. He checked his breath and readjusted his crotch.
Relax boy. Ask about Evan, and then fuck her brains out, he thought.
She emerged, looking fresh as morning dew clutching grass. He could see the shimmer of freshly applied lotion on her chest and shoulders. The scent of vanilla met him with care. Her smile even seemed brighter in the bar’s dim lamp light. She folded her arms and leaned against the polished hardwood.
“What do want to drink, baby?”
“Baby? Now you ain’t call me that in a while.”
She shrugged. “Seems the right time. But you still didn’t answer my question.”
“Beer. Always beer.”
“Well today, try something new. Something you’ve always wanted, but never had...yet.”
He heard something in her voice. And something in her eyes he’d never seen before. He breathed in deep, and her wonderful fragrance again struck him. It tickled his head, and his groin.
Lenora’s “S” figure swayed in a dance as she stepped back, her hand raised to the wall of whiskey behind her. “Just take a long, hard look.”
He stood up, unconcerned with the hardening shaft beneath his jeans. “Let me get a better look.”
“Now don’t you think that might be best done with the door locked?”
He paused, startled by her words. “What?”
Her sexy saunter brought her his way, coaxing his expanding head to thump against his pants. “Why you acting surprised baby? Didn’t you come here to finally fuck me?”
Her wondrous scent drifted up his nose, and tickled him down to his feet. “I-I-came to ask about Evan.”
“Oh darlin’,” she began caressing the side of his face. His face softened as her warm touch calmed his tumultuous mind. “Now why on earth would you waste time talking about him when you and I could be doing something wonderful?”
“Because my Mama sent me here to find Evan.” Fuck! Why’d I say that? Damn! He couldn’t help but fall into Lenora’s charm. Her gentile touch. His eyes closed as her fingers slid over the pointed edge of his facial hair.
“Now aren’t we a bit too old to be doing what your mama says? What about what you say? What about what you feel?”
“Yeah,” he unconsciously let out in a breath, reveling in her scent and swimming in her touch.
“Fuck Mama,” Lenora whispered.
“Yeah, fuck Mama.” He said with a short laugh.
“You came here to fuck me, didn’t you?”
“I came here to fuck you,” he said flatly.
“Now baby...go lock the door,”

Cutter rubbed his hands together as he looked in the direction where Old Bennie drove off. He’d admired that blue Ford Sedan Bennie had on the flatbed. It might not have been practical for this part of the country, but it sure looked nice.
Standing inside Theroit’s he realized that he was more comfortable outside with the haints than inside with those women. He walked to Junior’s truck. The key was still in the ignition. He sat in Junior’s driving seat and let his head fall back. Come on, boy. Get the fuck out here. don’t leave me waiting.
He turned the ignition. If anything he could get some AC blowing while he waited. Heat? Fear? Anxiety? Something was crawling along his backside and he didn’t know what. Something was watching him. Something was out there. And it was different than that faintly spirit they’d seen earlier. He glanced at the gas needle. Almost empty. There was more at the homestead. He put the gear into reverse. Slowly released the clutch and he depressed the gas. The truck began backing out when it hit him. Fuck! That dummies still inside. Where am I going? What am I doing? I can’t leave him. Damn.
He still considered driving off, but knew Swell’s wrath. Then he considered driving off and never stopping, but he figured running from Swell Gattis would have been far worse than just letting her kick his ass. So, with a mighty sigh he shut the car off and pocketed the keys. He slammed the truck door shut behind him.
It was only darkness ahead of him, gently lit by the falling moon, a dimly lit parking lot, and the occasional reflection off the water. “Just get the boy away from the voodoo bitches.” The words were meant only for him.
He started across the bridge, when an icy wind punched daggers into his sweat covered skin. He paused, feeling a dread he hadn’t felt in some time. He pulled out his gun and continued across the bridge staring straight ahead as he drew closer to the door of Theroit’s. Junior’s big frame filled the doorway, and Cutter waved. Junior’s face was blank, while a bulge pressed against the door.
“Boy what the fuck is that?” he pointed at Junior’s crotch.
Junior’s face remained expressionless as Cutter heard a lock slide into place.
“Boy, unlock that damn door.” Cutter snapped as he pulled the handle.
Junior looked back, his eyes blank, and his cock hard.
“Boy open this door.” Cutter yanked on the door.
“She got you didn’t she? That voodoo bitch got yo’ ass. Boy open the door and let me in.”
Junior turned around and walked away as if in a trance. Cutter covered his eyes as he tried to peer into the door. He saw a limbless figure approaching, swathed in what looked like white and floating above the floor.
“Voodoo bitch,” he hollered. He aimed his gun at the dark glass, when he heard the sound of a gun cock behind him, and felt its muzzle against the back of his skull.
“That’s my sister.” The voice said. A hand reached around and took the gun from his hand, while the face of a girl in a white dress filled the doorway. She waved, and he saw the woman behind him wave back in the reflection. He thought about jabbing his elbow into her side, when her scent met his nose, and he felt his cock throb.
“I’m Bridgette. And you are?”
“Cutter Jones.”
She made a slight noise with her mouth while the woman in the bar pulled down a dingy shade.
“So tell me Chere, why did I find you pointing your big hard gun at my sister?”
Her perfume was all he could smell as it traveled through his body. He cleared his throat not caring that his cock grew harder with each passing second.
“Thought she was a ghost. That and my boy inside, he locked me out.”
“Who’s your boy?”
“Junior.”
She laughed. “Junior? Junior Gattis? Oh, so that means Swell sent you here. Why? She wondering where her precious Evan is?” She said Evan’s name with evident scorn, but all Cutter could think about was seeing her naked and pressed against him.
“Well if Junior’s in there, and the shade is drawn, that means we both locked out for a spell. Or rather, for as long as Junior can last fucking my sister.” She said as her lips grazed his left ear.
“The question is, whatever shall we do to pass the time Chere?” she reached around and rubbed the outline of his length through his pants.
“Now this is a great idea, Chere.”
Damn voodoo bitch got me too, he thought. But what really scared him, was he didn’t care that she did.
Bridgette tapped Cutter’s side with her gun. “Oh, how I’d like to do things to you Cutter. But, you know what a bounty is?”
