Chapter 108 I love her
Nico POV
I tore my lips away from hers slowly, almost reluctantly, as if some part of me refused to break the connection between us. My chest rose and fell heavily while I stared down at her. Those crystal blue eyes of hers were wide and shining as they looked back at me, filled with something deeper than desire. It made my chest tighten in a way that had nothing to do with the heat between our bodies.
As I slowly pushed inside her, inch by inch, I watched every change that crossed her face. Her eyes fluttered closed the moment the sensation settled through her body and her head tilted back against the pillow, her neck arching upward as pleasure washed over her like a wave she could not fight.
The sight of it stole the breath from my lungs.
I had seen many things in my life. Blood, violence, power and fear in the eyes of men who thought they could stand against me but none of it had ever moved me the way this moment did. Watching her surrender to the feeling of me been inside of her felt more powerful than anything I had ever experienced.
Without looking away from her face, I slowly pulled back until I was completely out of her. The loss made her inhale sharply, her brows pulling together for a brief second then I pushed back inside her again, deeper this time.
A soft moan escaped her lips, quiet but beautiful. The sound wrapped around me like music, sending a pulse of heat straight through my veins.
Her legs lifted, sliding around my waist until her heels pressed against me, pulling me closer. The movement tightened the space between us, leaving no distance at all as her body welcomed mine like it belonged there.
I let out a low breath as I began to move again.
“I love you,” I murmured, the words slipping out before I even realized I was speaking.
The rhythm of my body did not stop, In and out then slow and deep. “Say it, Lila.”
My voice was quiet but firm, the demand woven into it and her lips parted, her breath uneven as she tried to catch it between each movement. “I love you.”
I shook my head slightly, my hand sliding along her waist as I moved.
“No,” I said softly. “I need you to say that I love you. I want to hear those words come from your lips.”
Her eyes opened again, locking onto mine.
There was something vulnerable in that gaze, something fragile that made my chest tighten but I could not stop moving. I did not want to and even my body refused to pull away from hers even for a second. “Say it.”
I thrust deeper, earning a sharp gasp from her lips. “Say it.”
“You love me,” she breathed.
“Again.”
I pushed deeper, my hands gripping her hips as if I needed to keep her right where she was.
“You love me.”
“Again.”
My voice grew rougher because there was something desperate building inside my chest. Something I needed her to understand. “You love me!”
Her voice broke as the words spilled from her lips, louder this time and her fingers gripped my shoulders as my rhythm began to change, becoming stronger, faster.
Every movement pushed deeper and our breathe us grew heavier. “This is my last and final rule for you, Lila,” I said quietly, though my body was moving harder now.
My hand slid slowly down the curve of her side, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath my palm. I moved over her hip before slipping my arm beneath her and gripping her firmly, lifting her slightly so I could pull her even closer.
“There will never be a moment where you forget that I love you.”
My voice lowered, steady and certain.
“Do you understand me? Never.”
Her body trembled beneath mine as another wave of pleasure moved through her.
“Never,” she whispered.
The sound of that single word settled deep in my chest and I leaned closer to her, my face inches from hers as my movements continued without pause.
“Your name is engraved on my soul,” I murmured, my voice rough with emotion I had never allowed myself to show before. “And not even the flames of hell could erase it.”
Those words felt like a promise carved into stone and in that moment something inside me broke open completely because I lost myself in her.
Every barrier I had built over the years collapsed under the weight of what I felt. The world outside this room disappeared, there were no enemies, no power struggles and no darkness waiting for me beyond these walls.
There was only her as our bodies moved together like they had always belonged this way. Every motion pulled us closer into something deeper than simple desire.
Our hearts pounded violently in our chests, the rhythm almost matching the movement between us.
All the cruelty that had shaped my life seemed to dissolve with every touch of her skin against mine.
It was just two people who had somehow found love in the middle of chaos.
I pressed my forehead lightly against hers as the tension inside both of us began to build, her breathing grew faster and her fingers was gripping me tighter as her body responded to every movement.
“I love you, Lila,” I whispered again.
The words left my lips just as her body tightened around me and she cried out, her voice filled with pure release as she held onto me. The sensation of her trembling around me pushed me over the edge with her.
I buried my face against the curve of her neck as everything finally unraveled.
My body shook as the intensity of the moment rushed through me and my heart slammed violently against my ribs, each beat echoing through my chest.
For several seconds neither of us moved.
The room was filled with nothing but the sound of our breathing.
Slowly, the storm inside my body began to settle, though my heart was still racing.
I lifted my head slightly, looking down at her again her eyes were half closed, her chest rising and falling while her body relaxed beneath mine.
A strange calm spread through me then, I loved her and she loved me and there was nothing in this world powerful enough to tear that truth away from us.
