Chapter 56
Aaron is driving the car with Kate sitting on the passenger seat beside him. She is still confused with their behaviour and wondering as to how to know about the relationship between them. Aaron sees her lost in her thoughts and he knows as to what she is thinking and he knows she is definitely thinking about his past, his behaviour at the hospital and their relationship. He doesn't want her to pressurize her brain thinking about his relationships and neither does he want to tell about his past to her atleast not at this point of time. He needs time and courage to tell her his past. 

Aaron keeps his hand on her hand bringing her out of her thoughts. He tells her gently "Don't pressurize your brain by thinking about all these things Kate. This is not the right time to tell you anything. I don't want to tell you about my relationship or past at this moment Kate. Please give me some time. Don't try to know any thing without my permission. It will make me furious dear. I never valued your consent but then you are not a cruel and disgusting creature like me so please you value my consent and feelings. I don't want you to know anything about me or my past. It's not like I don't want you to know forever. I want you to know but only when I want you to know. Once I get sure about it I will let you know. I will myself tell you. Okay?" 

Kate nods hearing him even though she wants to ask get sure about what but she doesn't. She don't want to ask him any thing or make him uncomfortable or feel awkward. She understood him enough to know that he doesn't like any one intruding his privacy or trying to know his thoughts. Hence she respected him and stayed silent. 

Aaron feels happy that she respected him enough to stay silent and her this behaviour is only adding up to his guilt for hurting her and torturing her. She is very much younger than him but still much more mature and strong than him and he is glad for meeting her and for coming into his life. 

Aaron places a kiss on her hand and tells her "Thanks for coming into my life and for bringing Max into life again. She didn't even know what you have done for me. You gave me my life back. If something would have happened to Max then I would have died with guilt and pain Kate. You don't know what yoh have done and how many you saved from breaking. I am always grateful to you for doing this. Thank You Kate. Thank You" Kate gives him a smile hearing him and holds his hand. He kisses her again on her hand looking directly into her emarald green eyes making her smile with a blush mixed in it. Aaron shakes his head at her shyness and looking straight on to the road, he drives his car. 

He is really very grateful to Kate and after today he owe her a lot. She has given him his Life back by saving Max. He has done cruel things with her but she. She has done only good things with him. She gave him his Life back. She saved him from eternal pain and guilt. He will definitely give her everything she wants for her help. After the women he has seen in his Life Kate has shocked him with her innocence, her kind and pure heart. Even though he is saved from guilt of Max losing his Life for him but then the guilt of hurting this innocent and pure human being is making him feel disgusted with himself. He can do anything to wipe that guilt and make her smile but then he don't think anything in this world would free him from this guilt. He looks at Kate who is still smiling to herself because of the way he has placed kiss on her hand. That moment the gulit only got worse. He has hurted such a pure soul who blushes just with a kiss on her hand. That moment his heart got heavy with the pain and guilt of hurting her. He at that moment understood that he can never get out of this guilt no matter how much ever he tries. He stops the car in front of the apartment Kate is living and they both go inside. They have got food packed on their way from a restaurant. They both go inside the flat and freshen up so that they can have their food and get some good sleep. They are also very tired and morever they have to go to the hospital tomorrow as well and then to the company to complete the pending works. Aaron and Kate come to the dining table and both of them have their food together. They both don't talk much while having their food as they are already very hungry. They both pounced on the food once they sat on the dining table. Kate and Aaron laugh together at the way they are pouncing on their food. Aaron shakes his head at their craziness. It's been long since he felt this hungry and he has laughed that way. But Kate has brought smiles into his Life as well just like the way she entered his Life. They both complete their food and go to sleep happily and peacefully. 

In the hospital Karan and Twinkle are having the burgers they brought. Karan was waiting for her father Christopher to come so that he can leave but that old man didn't take the name of coming abd is busy with his meetings. It's not like he doesn't care for his children, it's that he works hard for his children and he has surity that Max's friends and his sister is with him in the hospital hence there is no need to be scared or worried. Karan and Twinkle just completed their burgers when Christopher comes there. Karan stands up from his chair and then kissing on her lips he leaves from there after promising to meet her the next day. He greets Christopher and leaves from there. Christopher looks at his disappearing figure angrily and then looks at Twinkle who simply rolls her eyes at him and sits on his chair. Christopher looks a
t her with anger.
