Chapter One Hundred and Ninety Nine.

Chapter One Hundred and Ninety Nine.
Asher's POV

Seeing her walk away did something to me. It felt as though she was slipping right through my fingers and there was nothing I was able to do about it. I was rooted on both of my feet where she left me alone. The noise around felt irritating to me. Deep within me, something told me that if I don't follow her right now, I might lose her forever.

After what seemed like forever, I moved. Pushing off every single person that wanted to put their hands on me.

Immediately I stepped outside, I was stopped by the heavy rain that was falling. There is no way she would have walked outside in this rain. So, I walked the sidewalk and entered the garage, walking straight up to her room.

After knocking for almost a minute without any answer, I ended up opening the door with my key card. When it opened, I checked every single corner but she was nowhere to be found.

What I thought about came again. Did she walk in the rain? Without thinking too much about it, I started my bike and blasted the head lights in an attempt to look for her. The rain was so heavy that I could feel it almost deep within my leather jacket.

After a while I saw her walking far off, with her shoes in her hands. She better have a good explanation for what she's doing right now. I stopped the bike beside her and she didn't seem like she knew something was going on because she kept walking. I pulled her arm and she jerked. That was when her eyes met mine. Wide.

“Get on the bike.” I said loudly so that she would hear me over the noise of the rain.

“No.” She twisted and turned, trying to get out of my hands, but I held her tightly. Might bruise later on, but I don't want her to run off.

“Don't piss me off more than you already did Red. Get on the fucking bike.” I said through gritted teeth as I got off the bike. The idea was to forcefully put her on the bike if she wasn't agreeing to get on willingly.

She laughed sarcastically.

“Who the fuck are you again? And what gives you the right to think you can tell me what to do?” She snapped. Without thinking about it twice, I slammed my lips to hers. She struggled against me for a few seconds, but she started to kiss me back too. I felt the shoes in her hands fall to the floor beside my legs.

Her hands went around my neck, so as my arms wrapped around her waist I gripped onto her tightly. The kiss was better than I had ever imagined. The rain makes her taste even better.

I devoured her mouth. Months of wanting to do this to her lips made me feel like a starving man after her but I didn't care at all.

She pulled her lips away and I opened my eyes to see her dragging for breath.

“Don't do this to me please.” She sounded like she might cry. Her voice was so small. What happened to her? Who hurt her so bad? Different thoughts were going through my head when she spoke again.

“We...this can't happen.” She whispered.

“You've said that before. And I don't agree.” I insisted.

“I'm older than you.” She said and a dry laugh came out of my mouth.

“By two years? Baby if that's not a number tell me what is. I don't care about you being older. Fuck, that's sexy as hell if you don't know it.”

“People will talk.” I can see her folding already.

“Let them. I will kill and silence those who need to be. No one would make you feel awkward about anything.” I reassured. I would never have thought that there would be a day that I would be in this situation where I have to beg a woman for her attention, but I don't care.

“You're my boss too.”

“You know what, let's get you out of the rain first. We can talk about this in the house.” This time around, she nodded and climbed the bike willingly by herself. It took all of my will power not to look at her exposed thighs. I put her arms around my waist and zoomed back to the club.

When we got back, I didn't want to take her to her place. The plan was to take her straight to mine. But I stopped. I didn't want to push my luck too much. By the time we got upstairs, she was shaking so bad.

She stood in the middle of the room, while I looked for dry clothes for her.

When I found them, I told her to remove the wet ones she had on.

“I will not look.” I said and I turned as she started to move. The fact that I know that she might be wearing only her panties under that dress made me so hard I think I'll explode.

“I'm done.” Her small voice came and I turned back to look at her as she used the towel to dry out her red hair.

“I'm sorry about the way I spoke earlier. I….I just lost it when I saw you in that dress looking so beautiful. And it was not even for my eyes alone. You had all those men ogling lustfully at you.” Thinking back makes me want to hurt something.

“I…I don't even know what to say right now.” Her voice still kind of shook.

“I like you Red. A lot more than I thought. So, will you go out with me?” I asked, going straight for the nail in the head.

“Are you serious right now?” She asked, surprise etching her brows. I nodded.

“You don't have to answer me now though. You need to rest. And I wanted you to know how I feel. Don't try something like this ever again, Red.” I sounded like I was pleading with her, but I don't care one bit about how I sounded.
