Chapter 514 Fletcher (Part One)

Fletcher had always known he had a girlfriend.

He was saved by Liam, then worked for Mollie.

Fletcher couldn't comprehend why Liam was content to lurk in the shadows.

Later, upon meeting Hassan, everything became clear.

The way Mollie looked at Hassan with such deep affection, even someone who had never been in love could sense it.

Fletcher felt a twinge of envy.

While she couldn't meet her lover, she could still yearn for him.

Unlike him, his memories were empty.

This feeling was unbearable, so Fletcher chose to ignore it.

After being summoned to Lequa by Mollie, he encountered Aminah.

The indescribable feeling at first sight made Fletcher realize that this woman might be special to him.

But he concealed all his emotions, treating Aminah as a complete stranger.

What he didn't expect was for Aminah to be far bolder and more passionate than he was.

His heart gradually succumbed each day, yet he displayed no signs of turmoil.

It wasn't until the day Aminah's life hung in the balance that he grew panicked.

If something happened to Aminah, what would he do?

He had grown accustomed to this lively and spirited girl by his side.

Though she could be a bit willful, she was dear to his heart.

With her around, he couldn't see anyone else.

Fletcher remained by Aminah's side.

He watched her take medication and accompanied her during her recovery.

At the slightest sign of impatience from Aminah, he would immediately put on a serious expression.

"Do you still want to get better quickly?"

Aminah frowned, "But this potion is bitter."

Fletcher's face turned stern.

Seeing this, Aminah immediately complied.

"Well, I'll drink it, but you have to promise me one thing."

Aminah said with a mischievous smile.

"What?"

"After I recover, date me."

Fletcher's face immediately flushed.

"Why are you thinking about this?"

"I'm not thinking randomly, I just want to give myself some motivation. You are my motivation," Aminah looked at him earnestly.

"Whether you believe it or not, we were really lovers before."

Fletcher avoided her gaze, "I don't remember."

Aminah felt a bit disappointed, but quickly rallied.

"It's okay. Mollie told me to be patient with you."

She lifted her chin, "It's settled. After I recover, we'll go out for a movie and go shopping."

She extended her finger, "Pinky promise."

"Childish."

Despite saying this, Fletcher extended his finger and lightly hooked hers.

At the moment their skin touched, countless ripples stirred in his heart.

With newfound motivation, Aminah tried more diligently to recover, and her results improved day by day.

Finally, she had fully regained her health.

She invited Fletcher out for a date.

The sky that day seemed to be tinted in shades of pink.

Aminah, like a little bird, chirped by his side incessantly.

Fletcher found it peculiar that, despite being someone who cherished solitude, he did not mind her noisy presence at all.

In fact, he felt an inexplicable sense of inner peace.

As long as she continued to smile, the world remained beautiful.

As their date came to an end, Aminah asked Fletcher, "Have you remembered now?"

"No," he replied truthfully.

"Do you have feelings for me?"

Fletcher fell silent, fearing that one wrong step could lead to a lifetime of regret.

What if Aminah was not the one he had been waiting for all this time?

What would he do then?

After a moment of silence, Aminah smiled sadly.

"It's alright, Thank you for today."

She said, lowering her head to rummage through her purse.

"I bought you a gift. "

Aminah placed a bracelet in Fletcher's palm and said, "You must accept it."

With that, she pulled his hand and planted a kiss on his lips.

Within that breath, all that lingered was her affection—bold, unyielding, yet tinged with a hint of finality.

All other sounds faded into silence for Fletcher, leaving only the imprint of her kiss on his consciousness.

The kiss ended quickly.

Aminah smiled, saying, "Well then, goodbye."

"Goodbye..."

Fletcher was still lost in a daze.

Aminah turned and skipped away.

Fletcher opened his palm and was struck as if by a jolt of electricity.

It was identical to the necklace he always wore!

Aminah was really the person he had been waiting for!

Later that night, he had a long dream.

In that dream, he and Aminah became the envy of all.

Upon waking, Fletcher's heart felt warm and fulfilled.

He eagerly awaited Aminah, determined to express his feelings unequivocally.

However, Aminah never came to him.

Fletcher waited for two days, but Aminah never even sent a text.

He thought she was busy.

But when he reached out to her, there was no response.

Restless, Fletcher finally went to Mollie's office one morning.

"Why are you here?"

Mollie asked in surprise.

"Where is Aminah?"

"You came to find Aminah?"

Fletcher nodded, trying to hide his embarrassment.

"Where is she?"

Mollie was taken aback.

"She didn't tell you? She left two days ago."

"She left?"

"She is a princess. she couldn't stay here forever. The king came to take her back."
