Audrey kept shouting at David to move away from the door, but hell no, he wasn't moving an inch.
Audrey then resorted to pushing David from the door, and their ruckus was proving to be a nuisance to the two lovebirds inside the office.
Chad was done exploring Marlie's body and had even pulled down her bra and finished his experimentation on her breasts. With the last kiss, before he could rob himself of his own clothes, the chaos outside was unbearable.
"Chad..."
Marlie whispered softly between their kiss.
"Hmm..." Chad just hummed in response. If it was left to him alone, that chaos outside wasn't a bother. Because he didn't want to break away from Marlie's lips and allow her words to come out properly.
"Chad ... not now....not here."
Marlie murmured in unison with her moans.
Fuck! Marlie kept repeating these words so Chad had no choice but to listen to her.
"Alright... But I won't stop for anything tonight. "
Chad's husky voice informs Marlie, who hums in response.
Chad quickly let go of Marlie, and without taking a glance at her, he made his way to the door. But he halted his tracks suddenly. He paused at the door and turned to face Marlie, who was covering her chest with her hands.
He couldn't go without bidding her goodbye. He had to rush back and claim her lips again. Marlie abounded her chest and locked herself in his embrace.
Feeling Marlie's breast that close to his chest, Chad couldn't help but feel 'Junior Chad' wake up.
He had to swiftly break their closeness before defying his own words and slaughtering Marlie right there and then amid the chaos right outside.
But wait, was the witch of a sister gone? Well, because outside seemed calm, devoid of noise.
But still, this was not the right time and place for them. It was afternoon anyway, and the evening was approaching.
"I'll leave it up to you to make the changes," Chad stated, pointing at the new dress before he hastily left the room.
Marlie looked at her naked state, processing what had just happened. This time, she couldn't deny she wanted to be in Chad's arms, just that that was not part of the initial plan or the later plan.
"You look so beautiful here, Marlie. Just take a good look at yourself, craving to be in his arms. Damn it, you even agreed to be in his bed for tonight.
That jerk was right. You look desperate to sleep with him. How can you stoop this low Margaret?
He is your sister's husband! Get your act together!" Marlie reprimanded herself inwardly.
As Chad walked out of the room, he let out a heavy sigh, hoping to calm his racing hormones. Being so close to Marlie had ignited a desire in him that he never expected at such a place.
The memory of undressing her and the aftermath crossed his mind, he questioned,
"Was I truly going to let my inner demons out at such a place?" But he quickly dismissed it, shaking his head in disbelief.
He failed to notice David standing near Marlie's vacant desk, his expression filled with incredulity regarding his boss's intimate reaction.
David wondered what might have transpired between Chad and Marlie in the office when Chad came out panting. After all the moans he heard? Dummy David.
But it was expected. He had never witnessed this side of Chad before. David was filled with curiosity as to whether the man standing before him was truly his boss, Chad.
"It's not what you are thinking," Chad tried to explain, feeling a bit embarrassed. The situation in the room had become somewhat awkward.
David awkwardly nodded in response to his boss's explanation, yet his expression told Chad a different story.
"I was just trying to...!" Chad began to elaborate but quickly cut himself off, realizing that further explanations would only worsen his embarrassment. After all, David was just his assistant. What did it matter if he had misunderstood the situation or not?
"I was just putting on an act, nothing more." Chad declared. As if David was deaf not to hear all the sounds coming from the room earlier.
"Why am I even telling you this?" Chad muttered, straightening his suit. He glanced at David, whose face still showed a hint of curiosity. Chad knew that it was best to leave things unsaid.
In Chad's office, Marlie reluctantly changed her attire. Once she was properly dressed, Marlie retrieved a listening device from her pouch. For about 10 minutes, she pondered over the ideal location to place the device for optimal eavesdropping.
Eventually, she found a better spot and discreetly placed the device under Chad's desk. "Perfect," she whispered to herself, "Now I will have access to every single detail about the company and your personal lives too!"
She gathered her clothes and shoes, neatly placing them in her bag. When she opened the door, David was the only one standing behind the door. Chad was nowhere to be found.
For a minute, Marlie felt embarrassed. David was inside the room with them earlier, and thanks to her nonsense, David anticipated what had just happened right in the room.
"Had he been standing here all along?"
Marlie raised her brows in shock when such a question flashed through her thoughts.
David was no fool. He realized Marlie was embarrassed and had to say something to make her feel comfortable.
"Ma'am, your desk is ready," David said and then directed Marlie to her desk.
"Where is Chad... I mean the boss?"
Marlie asked with a fake smile. She questioned David, who responded, "He asked me to tell you he will spend the rest of the afternoon out. But he will send the driver to come take you home when office hours are over."
Marlie stared at the face of David with a frown. Staying out for the rest of the day? " Is... Is Angelina still in the office?" Marlie inquired of David.
Something was definitely burning in the air! And it smelled like...J..E...L..O...U...S...Y!
Marlie wanted to know if Chad had gone out with Angelina or not. Whether those two have gone out to a party or not. And why Chad was not coming back to the office at that time.
Wait, Marlie, after all that happened between you two?
To answer Marlie's curiosity, Chad was heading straight to Spark's father's company. He had some scores to settle with him. But Angelina was not in the company.
"Fuck you Chad!" Marlie vented her anger on the files on her desk. "How stupid I was just now!"
Chad was driving at top speed to Sparks' office. And the moment he spotted him in his office, he rushed to his side to punch him, but Sparks's father, Nielsen, was there.
"Son, you are here?" Nielsen asked.
"Hello, Uncle." Chad smiled and said to Nielsen.
Spark was happily smirking at Chad's face. With Chad's facial expression and glare towards him, Spark knew he was there to hit him. But now, his father's presence was preventing Chad.
"It's been quite a long time since you came to see me, son, is all okay? How is Charlie?" Nielsen asked.
Before Chad could answer, "Ah, I almost forgot, congratulations on becoming a father." Mr. Nielsen said happily.
Chad frowned a little, knowing the pregnancy was fake. Spark giggled like a child looking at Chad's frustrated look.
Chad had to fake smiles to receive the congratulatory messages.
"Hmm, thank you, uncle." Chad had no choice but to accept all the congratulatory wishes from a loved one. It was not like he could go about explaining to each and every one," It's not true. My wife is not pregnant."
Chad can't deny the fact that the pregnancy facade is benefiting him. But why did Spark giggle at that? It's not like he had informed him it's a fake pregnancy or better still, "I have never been intimate with Marlie. Unless...."
Chad realized Spark was behind all of these."You bastard!" Chad mouthed to Spark, who wore a smug look on his face. The asshole was happily enjoying himself since Chad was powerless in the presence of his father.
But it didn't last long when Nielsen said, "I will leave you two lovebirds alone to enjoy your company."
Spark's face changed, and he shook his head vehemently, trying hard to tell his father not to leave them alone. But Chad was happily smirking at that.
"Chad.."
Nielsen called out to Chad at the door, and he responded respectfully.
"Yes, Uncle!" He responded.
"Please, just don't break his face. That's his only charm. We heard him sobbing throughout the night." With this, he passed a smile at Chad and left the two alone.
