Marlie's revelation amazed everyone in the company.

So the boss's wife is not weak? The employees whispered among themselves, relieved that Marlie was putting Angelina in her place.

While they knew their Boss was married, they had no idea who his wife was at first. Some even speculated that the wife was unattractive, which is why Chad never brought her along.

Others suggested that Chad may have been forced into marrying Charlie while he was in love with Angelina, hence the secrecy.

However, her appearance on the internet cleared the first hearsay, and the pregnancy revelation shows that their boss loved his wife. If not, why would he make her pregnant?

And the truth is, the wife standing in front of them was nothing short of a beauty goddess. The fact that she is in the company proves to some extent that Chad values her. They couldn't help but murmur to themselves,

David agreed wholeheartedly with his colleagues. He had never met his boss's wife before and, like the others, wondered why Chad would leave such a stunning woman for someone like Angelina.

"Madam, sir, is waiting for you," David spoke up, noticing Angelina's rage. "He must be impatiently awaiting your presence." He continued.

Marlie didn't miss the intentional taunt in David's statement. She sneered at Angelina.

"You should get used to me here shameless whore!"

While David's words didn't bother Angelina, she felt a pang of embarrassment at Marlie's words. Tears of anger welled up in her eyes, but suddenly, Audrey intervened out of nowhere. As always protective of her friend.

"Charlie!" Audrey shouted, causing the employees to scurry back to their duties. Yes, the tigress was in sight, so one employee dared to stay in sight.

How dare Marlie utter such nonsense to her best friend, Angelina?

"Hello, sister-in-law, are you here to welcome me?" Marlie mockingly addressed Audrey.

For the first time, Audrey managed to maintain a composed demeanor as Marlie was supposedly pregnant. She doesn't want to be on her brother's bad side if anything happens to his child.

"Why do you act as though you are the lady of the family here?" Audrey retorted to Marlie.

Marlie raised an eyebrow at her statement. Was Audrey a fool or what? Wasn't that the reality? Since she was literally Chad's wife, she held the position of the family's lady. Was that difficult to understand? Dummy!

With this in mind, Marlie smiled at Audrey, which only irritated her further. Audrey longed to wipe the smug grin off Marlie's face, but she refrained from that again because of the pregnancy. This pregnancy is surely helpful. But the truth still remains the same even if there was no pregnancy, they would never stand up to Marlie.
Gosh, the girl is a stray cat.

"Sister-in-law, are you insinuating that this desperate whore, who is nothing but trash, is the so-called 'lady' you are referring to?" Marlie mocked both women.

Angelina seethed with anger at Marlie while Audrey burned with rage at her own powerlessness. She couldn't find any suitable words to defend her best friend, Angelina, other than to retort, "You are just a secretary here!"

However, Marlie wasn't content to stop at Audrey's remark. "Yes, I am a secretary sister-in-law." She gleefully replied.

"However, I am ecstatic about being his secretary. Do you know why?" Marlie asked with a smirk before moving closer to Audrey's face.

She caressed her face mockingly and whispered, "Because your brother can't bear to be separated from my touch for even a minute, to the extent that he desires it even in this workplace!"

With a provocative smile, Marlie concluded her taunt. It was quite a spectacle to witness the enraged faces of the two friends, and Marlie relished it.

Of course, given Angelina's proximity to Audrey, she heard Marlie's words loud and clear. David, too, heard Marlie's words and cleared his throat out of embarrassment. Wait wasn't Chad waiting for Marlie? That was the reason David descended. But why was he still standing there watching these ladies display?

Angelina tried to retort, but David interjected, informing Marlie that Chad was waiting for her in his office. Finally, he had no desire to stand there and be subjected to the details of his boss's alleged intimacy with his wife.

Marlie stared at them, and before leaving, she provoked them one more time. "What you saw the other time was just the warm-up... So don't waste my time, as my husband is growing increasingly impatient!" Directing her words at Angelina, she walked past them with a triumphant confidence.

David's eyes widened at the implications of Marlie's words. "Wait, does she mean his Boss wants it in his office... like right now?!" David pondered to himself and shivered at the thought of it.

Nevertheless, he had no choice but to escort Marlie, the lamb, to be figuratively slaughtered by his Boss in his beast mode. He followed closely behind, showing Marlie the way to Chad's office.

The two friends were no different from David. Did they hear Marlie correctly? Chad? Even if the company wants to do it with his wife? Audrey closed her eyes, processing the weight of it all, while Angelina seemed like she was on the verge of breaking down.

From what she saw the last time, it couldn't possibly be going to happen in Chad's office right? She wanted to rush to stop them but Audrey held her hand to stop her.

She should save her friend from more embarrassment. Angelina got frustrated, sad, and at the same time angry.

"He lays his hands on a woman he doesn't even love, while he refused to touch me even when he was completely intoxicated," Angelina began to say, but Audrey swiftly interrupted her.

"Angelina, stop!" Audrey exclaimed in a hushed tone. "Don't ever utter those words aloud again. Do you really want people to find out?" She chided her. So there was never any intimacy between her and Chad? She has been lying to Chad all along?
Of course, Silvia and Audrey were in cahoots with her.

Audrey was in charge of escorting Angelina to the meeting before Angelina revealed any incriminating information.



On the other side of the company, in a gallant gesture, David escorted Marlie to Chad's office, acknowledging her status as the boss's wife and treating her with utmost respect.

"Madam, the boss will be with you once he is done with his meeting." David politely informed her, bearing in mind Marlie's words earlier.

Following this, David, acting as a true gentleman, offered Marlie a seat to sit, to which she declined, inquiring about the duration of the meeting.

Marlie posed this question with the grace and composure of royalty, holding her head high and displaying a regal posture. As if she were the owner of the company!

"Approximately an hour," David answered, successfully satisfying Marlie's query.

In response, she warmly smiled at him, and David exited the office. Assuming the role of secretary and
position as the boss's wife was merely a facade, David couldn't help but praise his Boss in his heart.

Marlie had been eagerly awaiting this opportunity for a week, intending to execute her plan. Without wasting any more time, she grabbed her purse and left the office. Emitting an evil grin, she had something sinister in mind. Indeed, this Marlie's surname is nothing but TROUBLE!!!.
