"No way! Having sex here? That means I gotta stay put for an hour?" I thought, feeling a mix of panic and frustration.
With how sensitive my dick was, just hearing them go at it got me hard in no time. I was stuck in the ventilation duct, unable to move or make a sound. That hour felt like pure torture.
"I don't want to! It'd be so embarrassing if the cleaners or security guards saw us," Hannah said, pulling her husband out of the hospital without a second thought.
The door to the consultation room closed with a loud thud, like a signal that they were gone and I could finally get out of there soon.
I waited in the duct for about ten minutes, figuring Hannah and her husband had probably driven off by now. Then, I crawled out.
First, I opened the duct door, tossed my shoes out, then retreated back inside, switched my position, and slowly crawled down, my lower body hanging in the air.
Luckily, I was tall with long legs. I moved my right foot to the side and stepped on the edge of the sink. I jumped to the ground, put on my shoes, and tossed the dirty towel into the washing machine.
Finally, I walked out of the consultation room and out of the hospital.
I strolled along the roadside, pulled out my phone, and saw it filled with missed calls from Mia, John, Emily, and Scarlett. Mia called the most, over twenty times, while John and Emily called three times each, spaced about thirty minutes apart.
Scarlett called the least, only twice, with the calls less than a minute apart.
I called Scarlett back first.
"Hey, Scarlett, what's up?" I said gently like I was talking to a loving girlfriend, a smile in my eyes.
"Nothing much, just checking in on your new place. Why didn't you answer earlier?"
"I was cleaning the house with my roommates and wanted to finish quickly and eat, so I put my phone on silent," I lied smoothly, and Scarlett didn't seem to suspect a thing.
"Okay, finish up and eat soon, alright? Don't go hungry."
"Got it. I'll be eating with my roommates soon." Just then, another call came in. "Someone's looking for me, I gotta hang up now."
"Okay." After Scarlett responded, I hung up and checked the new caller.
It was Mia. I answered with a teasing tone, "Hey, what's up, my dear team leader?"
"What's up? I've been waiting for you all night, calling you non-stop, and you’re nowhere to be found. Where are you? Why haven't you shown up?" Mia's voice was impatient and annoyed, clearly pissed.
I replied calmly, "Sorry, I got caught up with my roommates during dinner and lost track of time."
"So, dinner with your roommates is more important than being with me?"
"No, not at all. It's not like that. I'm almost done eating, I'll be there soon." I tried to calm Mia down. "But my roommates had a bit too much to drink, so I need to stick around and clean up. You might have to wait a bit longer."
"It's okay, but you better be at my place before midnight," Mia said, her voice back to its usual calm tone, showing she was still reasonable.
"Don't worry, I won't be late this time," I said firmly, almost like I was making a promise.
After that, I hung up with Mia.
Next, I needed to respond to John and Emily's calls. They both called me around the same time and since it was already evening, they should be home by now.
To avoid any misunderstandings, I decided to call John back first.
He picked up immediately. "Hey, David, where are you? We've been waiting for you all night," John said, sounding a bit urgent.
"Sorry, my check-up took longer than expected today. I didn't have time to let you guys know. My bad."
"It's okay, just get here quick. Emily and I are starving."
"Alright, I'll be right there." I hung up, quickly hailed a taxi, and headed home.
When I got to our building, almost all the lights were off except for the one on the thirteenth floor, where we lived. That warm yellow light gave me a comforting feeling but also a pang of guilt.
I had ignored my friends' feelings for my own moment of pleasure. Just thinking about that made me feel incredibly bad. And now all I could do was get home as fast as possible. I rushed into the building, hit the elevator button, and luckily, it was on the first floor. I got in and rode up to the thirteenth floor.
I took out my keys, opened the door, and saw John and Emily already busy.
John was washing vegetables in the kitchen, while Emily was setting the table in the dining room.
I quickly changed my shoes, tossed my coat on the sofa, and rolled up my sleeves as I walked.
"Sorry for being late. Anything I can help with?" I asked, stepping into the kitchen.
"Perfect timing. Butter the pan and fry the steak," John said, pointing to the prepared steaks on the stove with his wet fingers.
"Got it," I nodded.
I moved to the stove, preheated the pan, spread some butter, and once it started bubbling, I put the steak on.
Soon, the delicious aroma of the steak filled the kitchen, making my stomach growl.
Emily walked in, glanced at John and me, and then moved to the stove next to mine.
Our kitchen had a wrap-around structure, with areas for washing vegetables and cooking along the walls. In the middle, there was a huge square stove for side dishes and seasoning.
