Honestly, sitting here and writing this author's note feels surreal because this story has been such a huge part of my life for so long. There were days when I couldn't stop thinking about these characters, days when scenes played in my head while I was trying to sleep, and days when I genuinely felt like Luca, Aria, and everyone else were real people living rent-free in my brain.

And now, we've reached the end.

First of all, thank you. Thank you for clicking on this story. Thank you for giving it a chance. Thank you for every comment, library add, and even for silently reading chapter after chapter. Yeah lol, I know readers like that. 🌝😂

Whether you've been here since Chapter 1 or just discovered this book recently, I appreciate you more than you'll ever know. Writers spend hours, days, months, sometimes years staring at blank screens, doubting themselves, rewriting scenes, deleting paragraphs, and wondering if anyone will even care about the stories they're trying to tell.

You cared and that means everything. I know this story wasn't perfect. In fact, let me be completely honest with you all, LOL...🤣 😂

Now, I do need to address the elephant in the room, and I am completely begging for your pardon here! 🙈🙏 What you just read is the raw, unpolished, straight-from-the-heart first draft. Because I wanted to get these chapters out to you as quickly as possible so you wouldn't be left hanging on those brutal cliffhangers.

This book is NOT edited but hey, I’m gonna do that now the book’s completed. 😭😂 There are definitely grammar mistakes hiding in these chapters. There are probably spelling errors. There are probably missing words. There are probably moments where autocorrect decided to become my greatest enemy. And there are definitely places where I reread a chapter and immediately thought, "Why did I write it like that?" 💀

For all of those mistakes, I sincerely beg your pardon. Please forgive the errors you've come across throughout the story.

As indie writers, we don't always have the luxury of editing every chapter perfectly before publishing. Sometimes we're writing late at night. Sometimes we're rushing between school, work, family responsibilities, and life in general. Sometimes we're running entirely on caffeine and pure determination.

This story was written with a lot of love so if you spotted mistakes while reading, thank you for being patient with me. I genuinely appreciate it. More than that, thank you for loving these characters.

Thank you for loving Luca. Thank you for loving Aria. Thank you for getting angry when they made bad decisions. Thank you for screaming at them through your screens. Thank you for defending your favourite characters in the comments.

Thank you for crying, laughing, stressing, panicking, and falling in love with this world alongside me.

Those reactions are the reason writers keep writing. There were moments while creating this book when I had absolutely no confidence in myself and a lot of writer’s block. Moments when I wondered if the story was good enough. Moments when I questioned entire plotlines. Moments when I considered giving up completely. Hell, I stopped writing the book for 3 frickin’ months.

And then I'd see a comment.

A reader saying they couldn't wait for the next update. A reader saying they stayed up all night reading. A reader saying they felt connected to the characters.

Those moments carried me farther than you'll ever realize. So thank you for being part of this journey. Thank you for making the difficult days easier. Thank you for reminding me why storytelling matters.

I hope this story gave you something.

Maybe excitement. Maybe comfort. Maybe an escape from reality for a little while. Maybe a favourite character you'll never forget. Maybe a scene that stays in your head long after finishing the final chapter.
