Midnight.
It rained heavily with flashing lightning rumbling thunder.
Forsythia walked in the rain hit or miss, dragging her suitcase.
"Damn it! John divorced you not because he won the five million lotteries, but because you were not a good wife."
"Forsythia, you are so annoying! We wanted you to divorce a long time ago. If you don't divorce John, you will have no chance to share Lin’s property."
It was hard to tell whether it was rain or tears on her face.
Her vision was blurred.
A silvery Bentley was flying towards them at a fast speed in the corridor, but Forsythia was too depressed to notice it.
When the car was about to hit her, she noticed it finally, but her brain was in a dead state. Standing still, she stared at the car heading straight for her like a lost soul
Creak——
The silvery Bentley made a sharp turn. The driver drove so fast that he accidentally hit the guardrail. A bad driver.
Forsythia stood still, her heart palpitating.
After the silver Bentley hit the guardrail, it stopped moving.
It was late at night and there was no car passing by.
Forsythia stood there for a few seconds before she came to her senses. She wiped the tears on her face. Then she threw down her suitcase and ran towards the silver Bentley.
It was dark in the car. With her head on the car window, she could vaguely see a man bending over the steering wheel.
"Excuse me, Sir, are you okay?"
Anyway, he hit the guardrail to avoid her. If any unexpected misfortune happened to him, she had to be responsible for it!
Hearing a crack, Forsythia quickly opened the door and leaned her upper body in. "Are you okay? Ah... " She was close to tears.
Before she finished her words, the man who was bending over the steering wheel suddenly grabbed her arm and pulled her in.
Bang!
The door was locked.
Then she fell on the man's lap. The man's hot big hand locked her waist like an iron chain, making her unable to move.
"Let…let me go..."Sensing the danger, Forsythia stammered.
"Are you courting death?"
The man who pressed her slowly opened his mouth, and his voice was low and deep, like the fresh wine sliding through his throat.
After being stunned for a few seconds, Forsythia realized that he was talking about her walking in the middle of the road. She shook her head immediately and said, "I... I didn't mean it."
"Whether you did it on purpose or not, you ask for it. It’s not my fault..."After saying that, the man lifted her and put her on his legs.
Feeling the man's strength, Forsythia's head went numb and she stuttered, "what hell are you going to do..."
"Guess?"
The man bent over and kissed her.
Forsythia felt that something exploded in her head.
The man's kiss was aggressive and inexperienced, but soon he found the way.
Her mind went blank for a long time. She didn't come back to her senses until she felt pain. She beat the man desperately.
The man ate the marrow and knew the taste. After placing the seat flat, he pressed her under his body.
It rained all night as if washing away the sin of the city.
A crazy night.
The man moved his fingertips. Suddenly he opened his eyes and sat up.
There was still a sweet smell left by that woman in the air, but he was the only one present.
Escaped?
The light in his eyes turned complicated. It was troublesome!
"Locate me right now and identify who that woman was last night," he ordered in an icy voice.
After saying that, he hung up the phone before his assistant could understand.
Forsythia escaped in the middle of the night. She went back to her mother's house awkwardly in the heavy rain.
She hadn't slept with her husband for years, but today she slept with a strange man, so she was very nervous.
When she woke up, she chose to run away subconsciously.
"Forsythia."
Her mom opened the door and brought her a bowl of ginger soup.
"Thank you, mom."
"So is it impossible for you and John to make up ?"
At the mention of John, Forsythia lowered her eyes and drank the ginger soup from time to time. She didn't want to mention her ex-husband anymore.
"It doesn't matter. Anyway, your father has arranged another marriage for you."
Hearing this, Forsythia's heart thumped. She raised her head suddenly and asked, "Mom?"
"Although he has a leg disease, you are a remarried woman. Don't hate him."
"Mom, what are you talking about?"
Forsythia’s mother stood up and looked at her angrily, "the wedding is set in a month. You have to marry him even if you don't want to."
"I just divorced with John tonight. How did you know that?" Forsythia's heart sank.
"To tell you the truth, your sister is the one who should be responsible for the marriage. But since you have divorced, you are supposed to replace her."
Hearing this, Forsythia’s mother took a deep breath and looked at her with complicated feelings. "He has leg disease. My dear, our Shen family can't destroy two daughters."
With a dull pain in her heart, Forsythia’s hands trembled as she held the ginger soup. Her lips trembled, "Mom, I'm your biological daughter..."
"Melissa is your sister. How could you have the heart to see her in adversity?"
"What about me?"
"Anyway, it’s settled. You must marry into the Ye family in a month! If the two daughters of the Shen family are destroyed, your father and I can't survive anymore. "
On the day of her wedding, Melissa, the younger sister of Forsythia, came to visit her.
"Sister, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that. But mom..."
"Sorry? Then would you like to wear the wedding dress and marry into the Ye family?"
"Sister, I..." Clenching her fists and gritting her teeth, she finally loosened her grip and said in discouragement, "I have a boyfriend, but you have divorced..."
"Yes, I have divorced. Take good care of dad and mom. They have done their best to make me agree. "
Marrying a man with a leg disease meant that she had to take care of him all her life. If this was her destine, she could accept it.
But it was Melissa who was supposed to marry a strange man. Since Forsythia’s husband betrayed her, she went back to her parent's home to get some comfort.
But she didn't expect to get the news that she would marry into the Ye family for her sister.
Because the bridegroom-to-be has leg disease, the parents.
What about her? Just because she had divorced, should she endure such misery?
How ridiculous! But the parents gave birth to her and raised her, she had no choice but to accept. The Ye family had prepared a lot of preparations. After a tedious wedding, Forsythia had been brainwashed by the Shen couple before she came here because she had been married to Richie on behalf of her.
Although all the guests didn't know her, she kept her head down and tried not to let others notice her, probably because she felt guilty.
Fortunately, the bridegroom was sitting in a wheelchair, and his unapproachable appearance almost froze the wedding. So most of the guests’ attention was on him.
Although the wedding was grand, it was still a simple one. Because Richie didn't propose a toast, no one dared to make trouble for him because of his imposing manner.
After the wedding, Forsythia was sent to the bridal chamber.
The aged servant stood in front of her and said with arrogance, "Mrs. Ye, although Mr.Ye has a leg disease, he is still the second young master of the Ye family. Since you have been married Mr. Ye, you must take good care of Richie."
Since she got wet in the rain that night and was told to marry the Ye family, she had a high fever on the second day and recovered several days later.
However, her illness had been repeating which did not fully recover. She even had taken the cold medicine before putting on the wedding dress.
At this moment, she was so lethargic that she had to nod repeatedly after hearing the servant's words. Then she said, "Got it. Can I have a rest?"
She couldn't hold on any longer.
The old servant looked at her with disgust and went out while talking about her gossip.
As soon as she left, Forsythia fell asleep, not caring whether she was wearing a wedding dress or not.
In her sleep, there seemed to be a sharp gaze on her face, which was grotesque.
