Chapter 95 The Failed Plan
Chapter 95 The Failed Plan
The three burly men in front of container number three hundred and seven froze instantly. Their bodies trembled violently under the aim of dozens of blood-red laser points locking onto their chests without gap.
Elijah's presence in the silver dragon coat of the main Blackwood clan radiated such a thick aura of death, paralyzing every fighting instinct they possessed as black market mercenaries.
"Who... who are you really?!" the leader's voice choked in his throat, staring in terror at the tall figure walking closer across the frozen snow surface.
Elijah did not respond with words. His sapphire blue eyes dimmed completely, staring straight at the thick black canvas sack on the iron trolley—where Elena lay limp and unconscious. At that very second, the highest dragon's patience had run out.
With movements that defied logic and were as fast as lightning, Elijah shot forward.
Crash!
Before the front burly man could pull his gun's trigger, Elijah's right hand, clad in black tactical gloves, had already gripped the man's jaw with enough force to crush steel.
Without a shred of mercy, Elijah slammed the giant body against the container's iron wall, producing a deafening impact sound. The man immediately collapsed, vomiting blood, and passed out with his jaw shattered to pieces.
The other two burly men who witnessed the brutal execution panicked and tried to leap backward to escape into the container maze. However, the Apex Sovereign special forces under Marcus's command did not give a single millimeter of leeway.
Two strikes from long-barrel rifle butts precisely at the base of their necks sent the two remaining men face-first into Queens' cold snow, completely paralyzed within seconds.
The entire border cargo perimeter was now sterile and clean under Elijah's absolute control.
Elijah ignored the trash bodies lying around him. His heavy footsteps moved hurriedly toward the iron trolley.
With fingers trembling slightly from anxiety and boiling rage, he tore the black canvas cloth, revealing Elena Vance's pale, unconscious figure due to the effects of chloroform.
"Angel?" Elijah whispered, his usually rigid and ice-cold baritone voice suddenly trembling intensely with possessive tenderness.
He crouched down, wrapping his sturdy arms around Elena's slender body, lifting the woman with great care into his marble-hard chest embrace.
The masculine sandalwood scent from his black coat immediately enveloped Elena's body, trying to drive away the cold of the remaining winter snow that bit into his empress's skin.
Elijah pressed his palm to Elena's neck, ensuring the woman's pulse was still beating despite being weak.
A wave of immense relief briefly crossed his handsome face, before his gaze shifted sharply toward the main warehouse at the end of dock number four—where Eleanor Vance and the London lawyer still were. A very cruel, sexy, and deadly predator's grin once again carved beautifully at the corner of his lips.
"Marcus," Elijah called coldly, his baritone voice flowing low yet laden with the absolute authority of a supreme mastermind.
"I'm here, Young Master," Marcus replied, stepping forward from the shadows with absolute military respect.
"Take Elena to the armored vehicle. Make sure the Apex Sovereign medical team immediately neutralizes the remaining anesthetic poison in her body. Secure the perimeter with the first armored battalion. Don't let a single speck of dust disturb her sleep," Elijah commanded, handing Elena's limp body into Marcus's safe embrace.
"And yourself, Young Master?"
Elijah adjusted the position of his long black coat embroidered with the silver dragon insignia, letting the freezing sea wind hit his perfectly tensed jaw.
"I'm going to the main warehouse. It's time I gave a concrete answer to the Vance clan's greed, and make sure that tonight is their last night bearing that name in New York City."

Meanwhile, inside the dim main storage warehouse, the atmosphere had turned into acute, suffocating panic.
Eleanor Vance and the senior lawyer from London kept staring at their digital device screens, which had gone completely dead due to the Black Isolation Protocol released by Elijah's cyber system.
There was no cellular signal, no incandescent lights on, and the entire room was only lit by red emergency lights from error-ridden tactical devices.
"What is really happening, Lawyer?!" Eleanor roared in frustration, her middle-aged face coated in expensive cosmetics appearing stiff with fear.
"Why aren't our men outside reporting?! And why is the entire electrical grid at this dock completely dead?!"
"I-I don't know, Madam Vance," the lawyer replied in a trembling voice, clutching the legal documents for Grandfather Maximillian's inheritance transfer tightly.
"The entire Mayfair communication satellites owned by Morgan Valdez in London suddenly went offline. This isn't a conventional blackout... this is total military-scale cyber isolation. Someone has locked us in here!"
Crash!
The large main warehouse iron door was suddenly pushed open from outside with one slow yet massively powerful thrust.
Eleanor Vance and the lawyer instantly recoiled, their eyes widening perfectly toward the doorway. In the middle of the night darkness and sneaking snowflakes, a tall figure stepped forward with the calm of a supreme Wall Street ruler.
Elijah.
He stood upright under the red emergency light, wearing a pitch-black long coat embroidered with the luxurious, gleaming silver dragon insignia of the main Blackwood clan.
The thick aura of intimidation and murder emanating from his sturdy body immediately sucked all the oxygen out of the stifling warehouse.
"Y-You... a hired gigolo?!" Eleanor Vance hissed, though her entire body suddenly stiffened and trembled violently upon seeing Elijah's magnificent and terrifying new appearance.
"How could you get in here?! Where are my men?!"
Elijah did not respond with a shout. He walked slowly, letting his heavy footsteps echo firmly on the dirty cement floor. His sapphire blue eyes narrowed sharply, gleaming with the absolute dominance of a supreme mastermind whose perimeter had just been illegally violated.
"Your men are already on their way to their mass grave, Madam Eleanor Vance," Elijah said, his low, deep baritone voice flowing so rigidly yet laden with absolute death threats.
The senior lawyer from London, upon seeing the silver dragon insignia on Elijah's coat, immediately dropped all his legal documents to the floor. His face turned as pale as cement paper, and his knees suddenly went weak, causing him to collapse kneeling on the cold cement.
"S-Silver Dragon... the main Blackwood clan... Elijah Blackwood?" the lawyer hissed in a voice trembling violently between disbelief and intense horror.
Eleanor Vance gasped perfectly, her heart as if struck by an enormous iron mace.
"What... what are you saying, Lawyer?! He's just a poor gigolo and a hired IT technician!"
