Christan's POV :

" we were driving around the city , and Miss Elfonso didn't leave the car as you ordered after an hour we noticed that there's car following us" he stopped a bit to adjust his seat ," we suspect that it followed us from the moment we left the house , so we decided to go back and on our way back we were hit by a truck , none of us was hurt but we weren't able to start the car and soon two large black cars pulled in front of us and ten armed man came toward us , and they started shooting we were just three so we couldn't stop them and we were shot too and I guess that when we lost conscious they took Miss Maribelle away"

" who could be behind this ? " the guard who came in with me asked " it's obvious who it is Ryan , it's La Patrona 's job "

" what are we suppose to do now Sir ? " Marco asked " you try to get some rest Marco and we'll get back home, let's go Ryan "

I was entering the house when my phone started ringing , mom and dad were both sitting in the living room and Nona and Ilayda standing behind.

"hello " I answered the phone " Ch.....Chris "

" Maribelle , Maribelle are you alright , where are you ? are you hurt ? tell me are you okay ? " i started screaming and both mom and dad heard me and stood up " it's my baby let me talk to her please " mom started crying " mom please wait a second " i went a little away from her so that I can speak on the phone " Maribelle, talk to me are you okay ?"

" oh , how beautiful , I didn't think you were this sensitive considering you look always so stiff and angry " that voice is just getting on my nerves " YOU PEACE OF SHIT ? WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING ?"

" Now , now , now is that a way to talk with with someone older than you"

"WHERE IS MY SISTER ? "

" stupid fucking idiota , you expect me to answer your question "

Ilayda's POV :

"Ma'am , Sir breakfast is ready "

"just leave it " said Mrs Elfonso " we're not quite hungry right now , thank you " replied Mr Elfonso I went back to the kitchen to find Nona silently crying " Nona why are you crying ?"

"I'm sorry dear I'm trying to strong and all but i can't , I raised Belle as if she was my own daughter and i love her so much "

" don't cry I'm sure , Christan will figure something up just trust him "

Come to think of it I haven't heard from him since yesterday I hope his doing alright , I hope he'll find Maribelle , even though that woman..... No , no he will find her I know it.

The doorbell rang, and I went to open it but one of the guards stopped me 

" I'll get it "he took his gun out and went to open the door , seems like the situation is far more worse than i thought.

At the door , Christan was standing , he passed next to me and looked at me , I smiled at him but he didn't return it , I knew he was so sad , angry and frustrated so I let him be, he took his jacket off and went to where his father is.

" what happened, did you find anything knew ? "

"not now mother please , dad come to the study with me I need to talk to you about something"

They both left and it was just me and Mrs Elfonso now " I'm going to my room ,don't disturb me "

After that i went to clear the table .

Christan's POV :

" is everything alright son ? did something happen to your sister ? "

" No , sis is fine , I just come up with a plan and I wanted to get your opinion about it "

" alright tell me "

" so I..........."

" What do you think ? "

"Sounds like a good plan "

" alright call your lawyer and i will do the rest "

" son what can I do else , I feel useless , i want to help you find your sister ,I ca,'t just wait for you to do all the work "

" Dad it's okay , I'm leaving you here to do something much more important , you need to protect Ilayda you can't let La Patrona get to her , if you want to do something important , then just don't let that woman know that Fernando's daughter is still alive "

" alright son, go now and don't worry about her as long as she's here no one can get to her"

Few hours later I came back home to find mom and dad sitting in the living room ,when Dad saw me he stood up " son what happened did you find her ? "

" no ,she wasn't there i found some men in the apartment but to her apparently they moved her"

" damn it "

a few minutes later Ryan came running toward us Sir , there's something you need to see. We all went outside to find a big box next to the gate an on it it was written to Christan.

" did you check it ? "

" it doesn't seem like a bomb "

" well open it , mom dad get back " deep down I was scared of what I will find inside of that box , and my mind seemed to think only of the worse, Ryan pulled a knife and broke the lock and then he opened the box .

i was shocked " oh my god " dad said " thank goodness ,honey , baby Maribelle can you hear me" my mom started shacking Maribelle who had her hands and legs tied , she soon opened her eyes " Mom ? "

"I'm here honey , don't worry " soon Maribelle started crying, i took the knife from Ryan to free her hands and legs " Mom i thought i was going to die , i thought i won't see you ever again "

"shush , don't cry baby , mommy's here I got you I always do , I'll do no matter what it takes just like this time "

"what ? " I asked my mom " what is it ? "

" what did you just say ? "

" what did I just say ? " is she playing dumb or something " this is not the right time to speak let's get your sister inside first.

" mom , mom " why is she ignoring me " MOM , look at me what did you do ? "

" I had to save my baby somehow , I had to do something "

" MOM WHAT DID YOU DO ? "i was holding her by her arm " i heard you speaking , you and your father , in the study " everything started making since , why i didn't find Maribelle when i went to that apartment, why that woman didn't call again .

" Son calm down " father tried to hold me but i went running to her room.

" she's not here , stop wasting your breath " my father held her by the arms as she spoke " what kind of women are you we were protecting that girl from the danger outside , nut we never knew that the real danger was the one inside "
