Chapter 17 Protect Her
Chapter 17 Protect Her
Cillian
Sloane’s face turned pale, the redness of her cheeks disappeared, and she seemed like she had seen a ghost.
I despised the idea that something or someone was sucking the life out of my wife.
Janice appeared from the kitchen, twisting her hands with panic.
“Sir, I’m so sorry for interrupting, but there are people outside our gate.”
Sloane walked towards the window, getting a glimpse of what was happening outside. My eyes roam from the curves of her waist down to her creamy ivory legs.
She was a walking tease—a sight to behold.
And I couldn't wait until I tasted her all over again.
“They're everywhere.” She said tensely.
I came closer to her. A crowd of media people was gathering outside my private estate. I bit my cheek to avoid cursing in front of Sloane.
I yanked my phone from my pocket, dialled Silvanus.
“Go to your room, Sloane, don’t come down until I tell you so.” I touched her head and planted a kiss on her forehead.
I’ll protect her even if it's the last thing I do.
“Okay,” She gaped at me with her amber eyes, and I held myself from scooping her in my arms and never letting her go.
There was familiarity in her, a connection I couldn't explain, as if she belonged to me from the beginning of time; she was supposed to be mine.
“What’s up, man? To whom do I owe this pleasure of you, calling me?” Silvanus was a good friend back when we were both studying.
“I need a favor,” I told him. “It’s time to set things straight.”
“Of course you do, go on.” He asked, Silvanus owned the biggest media company in the country. If I were to announce my marriage, it would only be fitting to let him handle it.
“I want you to put the news of my marriage to every reliable website, magazines, newspaper, social media, I don’t fucking care, just leave my wife out of it.”
He laughed, “All of this for a woman? I see the world is changing.”
“Silvanus.” There was a warning wrapped in my voice.
A warning anyone should heed: no one hurts Sloane.
Or I’ll kill them with my bare hands.
“I’m sorry, man, but your wife’s face and name are already circulating, by unverified sources, all we can do is some damage control.”
Damn, I could have predicted this and maybe prevented it.
“Damage control? What do you have in mind?” I indulged him.
“Clear the facts on National TV, Cillian, get sympathy from the public, that’s the only way. “
My fists formed into a ball, and anguish crawled to my skin like a disease, making its presence known.
“Is that necessary?” I told him, challenging his nonsensical idea.
“If you want your wife’s name clean, then that’s the only way out, man,” Silvanus said with finality.
I inhaled some air, and dismay clouded my mind.
I’ll do everything for her; I never cared so much about anything.
Until her.
“Fine, schedule it, and I owe you one.” I gave in.
“You can’t owe anyone anything, Cillian. You’re above us all. I’ll let Juls reach out to your assistant.”
“Okay, thank you.”
“Don’t mention it. If your wife makes you like this, I’m rooting for her; take care of her, man. Only a good woman can spark a change with a tough man like you.”
He hung up before I could reply. Asshole.
The head of my security and driver, Mike, stood right at the door. “Sir, we managed to let everyone leave the premises.”
There was nothing money couldn't buy. I had excellent staff and security at my disposal. My father was not a good man, but I was grateful for his wealth and name.
“Good, make sure they won’t come back.” Mike nodded, hearing my command, and I craved my wife’s existence.
I opened her bedroom door, and her eyes sparkled right away, throwing me a glance.
She’s shining, brighter than the sun.
“You’re not staying in the guestroom anymore, you’re moving into the master's, where I can see you all the time.” I notified her, leaning on the dresser.
“Not because we had sex—”
“Fuck it, Sloane, do you really think so lowly of me? This is beyond sex, my wife, I need you beside me, to keep you safe.”
She sighed, sadness covering her beautiful face.
“I’m sorry for causing trouble.” She whispered, biting her bottom lip.
My friend down here, hardened inside my pants, waiting to be free. Damn, it was so impossible to ignore the heat I felt when she was near.
“Stop biting your lips, flower, unless you want me to fuck you in every corner of this room.”
Sloane licked her lips with her tongue; my world halted from spinning.
I wanted to have her in more ways than one. I was about to blow straight to my pants.
I pushed her to the bed. “Are you still sore?” I asked her, her cheek flushed, and I was a goner for her.
“A little,” Her shyness amplified my dirty desires.
“I’ll make it all go away, baby, I’ll make you feel good,” I assured her. Tracking my fingers in her delicate skin.
“Cillian..” Her utmost surrender was my gain.
“Open your fucking eyes, wife, see how kind of a mess you make out of me.” I sealed my lips to hers.
“The door, Cillian.” How could I forget the door? Rookie mistakes, and I didn't make one.
Reaching behind me, I locked the door and stared at her, the sunrays streaming through the window, lighting her up. She’s sitting with her knees bent, she was so ready for me.
And then I throw my own shirt off and dive down, taking her pretty pussy in my mouth.
“Cillian,” she whimpered, clutching my head to her body and falling back on the bed.
I was overdosing, fucking high, full of her.
I wanted this for so long, and I finally had her, legs spread on my bed, body begging for me. I sucked on her clit first, stretching it into my mouth and going back in again and again, making her squirm and desperate to come.
I licked her up and down, swirling my tongue around over her nub and drowning in her scent and taste. After a minute, I lost control like an animal, hungry and wild. I was kissing and nibbling her everywhere. I angled my arm under her thigh and gripped it for backing as I fed off her.
Her fingers threaded through my hair, feeling every heartbeat, music only us could hear, paintings and moanings were ours.
“Cillian.” She cried out my name, and I felt I had won the lottery.
“I know, baby, I got you, let it go.” You feel so good.
“What are you doing to me?” She said, back arching, pleasure written in her eyes.
I kissed her lips like life depended on it. I’m going to love you so hard that no one will come after me, Sloane.
I swore to myself.
She’ll be my greatest destruction and the flood I’ll drown in and die for.
