A small smile took over my face as I thought back to-
« So French toast with a French kiss or hard-core eggs with some hardcore se-«
« I said leave ! » I yelled loudly, not wanting to hear the rest of that sentence.
« Okay ! Sorry for the way I made you feel. » He mumbled afterwards, the smirk apparent in his voice.
All I could do was glare at the door, before deciding to let go of the player inside my mind and continued to get ready.
After I was done and wide awake, I made my way to the kitchen. A smile instantly took place on my face as I smelt French toast. He actually listened to me. I should get him to do more things for me too…
I turned the corner and froze in the doorway of the kitchen.
Standing before me was a very shirtless male with a delicious six pack on full display. Forget food, I'll just eat him up.
My eyes finally met with Nathan's, who was standing in the middle of the kitchen facing me and wiping a white plate with a cloth, all while giving me a huge smirk as I had been caught again…
I think I did good though, as I hadn't checked out his perfect body since I had found him on top of me this morning.
I took my time though, letting my eyes graze over his perfectly chiseled, hand-crafted Greek God body. Too bad he was a jerk.
I finally looked back up at him as if I hadn't just been standing there checking him out.
« So the French toast ? » I asked expectantly.
« Mhm. » He replied distractedly, taking slow steps towards me. I was taken aback by the intensity in his eyes.
I stood frozen in place, waiting for him to reach me. Instead he stopped halfway, somehow torturing me with the way he was looking at me and the way he looked right now.
« Are you intimidated by me princess ? » He asked now, looking at me with curiosity mixed with amusement.
« What ? Hah ! No way, get over yourself. » I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't deny the ascending heart rate of mine.
« Yeah ? Then come here and say it. » He grinned at me smugly.
I tried to think of an excuse but could come up with little to nothing as he had caught me right on the spot.
So deciding there was only one way to go about this, I tried to seduce the seducer.
Giving him a dangerous smirk, I walked my way slowly over to him, my steps in line and my hips swaying ever so slightly.
I looked up to see him slightly taken aback, but he covered it up in an instance.
Finally reaching him, I placed both arms around his bare neck, trying not to shiver against his exposed chest which was almost brushing against mine.
Giving him a dirty smirk, I bit my lip and let a hand slip down his smooth chest, then slowly traced it over his well-defined abs. I felt his body tense up under my touch, causing my smirk to grow.
« Intimidated ? » I spoke slowly, drawling the word out.
Pushing myself flush against him now, I took his hand in mine and placed it against the side of my exposed leg, causing him to let out a sharp exhale against my ear. I ever-so-slowly dragged his hand lightly up my leg, causing the fabric to bunch up around it as it went higher and higher, the small trail leaving tingles behind. His other hand gripped onto my waist on the other side as I continued to tease him.
I led his other hand all the way up to my hip-bone, then leaned in until my lips were lightly brushing against his ear. « I don't think I'd let you get this close if I was intimidated. » I whispered.
Pulling back away with a triumphant smirk, I froze when his eyes were still staring at me with that same intensity which left me speechless.
I let out a small gasp as I felt his hand which was gathered up in my shirt slip around my waist slowly but swiftly.
I arched my back and let my eyes close for a second as I leaned into his touch, enjoying his strong hands slowly exploring my exposed back under my shirt.
« Impressive. » His lips brushed against my ear now, his voice just above a whisper.
His hand then slid to my hip again, slowly moving up and down. The small action was driving me crazy.
I wanted more.
I breathed heavily onto his shoulder as I felt his hand spread out over my torso, just missing my breasts. Then, he moved his hand lower in a tantalizingly slow manner. He was driving me mad.
« You didn't have to prove yourself. » He spoke softly, his hand reaching lower and lower… « I think it's pretty clear that you-«
I cut him off with a moan that came out unfiltered. I froze in embarrassment at that, but it only made him let out a low restrained groan in return which did things to my body, his eyes darkening and his grip on me tightening.
His eyes looked as if they were about to devour me at any given second.
« Is something burning ? » I suddenly asked, scrunching up my face as the smell became stronger and stronger.
« What ? » He said distractedly. I practically melted under his touch just by the look he was giving me, but I caught sight of something orange flickering just over Nathan's shoulder.
My eyes widened as I realized what it was.
« FIRE ! » I screamed, pushing him away and running over to the stove.
I thought back to all those times where my classmates and teacher would prevent a fire in my cooking class.
You can see now why I don't cook…
I remembered the first step was to cover it with the lid, so I frantically grabbed the closest one and dropped it over the pan filled with orange flames.
I sighed in relief once the flames immediately vanished under the lid, but the feeling of satisfaction was short-lived as the entire pan erupted into flames all of a sudden.
I opened my mouth to scream but Nathan seemed to beat me to it as he let loose a long string of interesting curses.
Staring wide-eyed from the pan with orange flames licking all around it and growing taller, to the six foot something well-built man grabbing his hair and not breaking his gaze away from the fire, I came to the sad realization that I was really on my own here.
Looked like Robin wasn't helping Batman anytime soon.
Taking a deep breath, I realized I should probably get a fire extinguisher seeing as no one else in the vicinity was capable of doing so…
I sighed and ran out the door, searching for a glass box. Spotting it a few steps down the hall, I sprinted back inside and ignored Nathan's frantic state trying to hold onto me.
