« But he already say me in these when he burst in here. » I replied, looking down at the pool of cloth I was drowning in.
« He barely looked your way and he would have said something if he noticed, trust me. » He said back. « I'll left them folded on the bed for you. » He added.
I closed the door and proceeded to change back into my own clothes, trying not to think too vividly of the day I had last been wearing these.
I came out of the room all changed now and he stood up, walking towards the door and opening it for me as he held out a hand.
I didn't think twice before grabbing it in my own and walking down the hall with him.
His hand fit perfectly in mine in an oddly comforting way. I tried not to think too much of it.
« Will you be there when he asks me those questions ? » I asked with fear, suddenly looking up at him.
I don't know why, but the thought of facing that man alone terrified me.
My kidnapper was the only one that could comfort me right now, as twisted as it sounds.
He stared down at me and smiled. « Of course. »
I smiled slightly and felt him give my hand a small squeeze, reassuring me.
We took an elevator down to the bottom floor.
Turns out when that man had said 'downstairs', he meant underground.
He probably thought that since his voice couldn't scare me, the setting of the place could…
I followed my kidnapper down a long hall to the right of the elevator when we stepped out.
It was indoor and right in front of the elevator was the door leading to the parking lot.
Mr. Kidnapper stopped.
« I'm sorry Skylar, but you're gonna have to put this around your mouth and struggle in my grip when we walk in. » He said, pulling out a red rag from his back pocket.
I stared at the horrific thing and finally sighed, holding out a hand for it.
Instead of handing it to me, he walked behind me and tied it himself, his fingers softly brushing against the back of my neck.
« Just tell me if I hurt you princess. » He whispered in my ear, his warm breath on my neck.
I slightly shuddered.
Before I could react, he grabbed my arms and pulled them behind me, making it seem rough but his hold was nothing but gentle.
« Show time. » He said, before opening a door to my right and dragging me in behind him.
I remembered I had to act, so I started squirming and yelling, my voice muffled by the rag.
I looked around the room and my pupils grew large because of how dark it was.
I looked around, searching for the weird man.
« Bring her here. » I heard him squeak.
I snapped my head to the direction of his voice and saw a small beam of light shining down from a single lone light-bulb.
The kidnapper walked over there and I started to squirm again, trying to sell our act.
I spotted Alvin, yes that's his new name, standing near the light, staring at me as we finally came to a stop in front of him.
I suddenly snapped my eyes away, remembering he could tell if I was lying.
« Strap her to that chair, and leave us. » He ordered, talking to the kidnapper.
My eyes followed his gaze and under the light, I saw a single metal chair with its legs planted into the cement underneath, with rope on the ground around it.
All in all, it looked like one of those chairs where you strap your victim in and torture them to death…
I was not sitting in that.
« I think it's better if I keep her in my lock. » The kidnapper said, causing relief to wash over me.
The man stared at him questioningly.
« If you strap her to the chair, you can't move her, if I keep her locked in my grip, I can move her around. The wire for the shocking device isn't long enough to reach that chair anyways. » He replied coolly.
Wow, he was a good actor…
Wait, the shocking device !?
I widened my eyes, my body tensing all of a sudden.
I felt my kidnapper start to run small circles on my wrist with his thumb, the small movement hidden since my hands were in between my back and his pretty nice abs. I discreetly melted into his hold. That small gesture was enough to calm me down.
« Aright, but if she escapes-« The man started.
« She won't. » The kidnapper cut him off.
« Do not interrupt me boy. » The man snapped.
Bitch.
« If she escapes, I will make sure to crush your skull like a little crouton and lock you in a tank filled with sharks. » The man said with a smile, as if he were discussing his wonderful day.
Crouton ? This guy was pathetic…
I felt my kidnapper's hot breath hit the back of my neck as he let out a frustrated sigh, but held his temper.
I also realized he hadn't stopped rubbing circles on my wrist.
« Anyways, Skylar, we have a lot to talk about today. » The man said, turning to me and smiling wide.
I gave him a panicked look, just for show, even though I was nowhere near scared, since his squeaky voice had left me holding back laughter…
« Alright, now where shall we start ? » He wondered out loud.
I rolled my eyes as he referred to himself as 'we'.
« Ah, let's start with why I had my best kidnapper pick up an annoying little bitch from the mall. » He smiled at me, knowing I wasn't able to do anything at the moment.
I held back a glare, knowing that was what he wanted and settled for a wink.
He stared at me strangely. « Prostitute. » He muttered, causing me to slightly chuckle, since the way he said it made it sound less offensive and more of a joke.
« Did I tell you to laugh ? » He roared, suddenly appearing right in front of my face.
I stared back at him with ease.
At that moment, I suddenly realized why my kidnapper had warned me about this guy.
The next thing I knew, I was crouching over in pain.
