Chapter 45.
I just arrived at the twins' appointment. For a change, Lili is late.
I sit down and look at some magazines.
— Apologies for the delay. I turn and face Dylan.
"Where's Lili?" I ask as he sits next to me.
“She can't come.
Just feeling his breath so close made my whole body tingle.
"And why didn't she tell me?" “I was already getting mad.
“I don't know, Ayza.
“I told her you could only come with her. ’ He stares at me.
— Do you want me to leave? — Dylan asks and makes that ownerless dog face.
"Who came with you?" — I ask.
“No one but me. He chuckles. "Why are you jealous of Tina?"
— What are you talking about? "I do."
— I saw the face you made the day she came to talk to me. He arches one of his eyebrows.
— Why would I be? ’ I shrug.
— Because love me. He took great pleasure in emphasizing that word.
— Respect me. — Deep breath. "We're only going to have one child together..."
“Two children, two. He won't let me finish the sentence.
“Don't interrupt me. — I take a deep breath. "What you do with your life is none of my business."
“If it's any consolation, I have nothing to do with her. — Hearing that sentence made me happy. "She's the one throwing herself at me." Look Ayza, you know I love you.
"Dylan, I...
“Miss Mayer. "Saved by the bell."
I get up and head towards the living room, Dylan is right behind.
During the ultrasound, I held his hand. I was already used to holding Petter's hand, but having Dylan there by my side was. It made everything feel different. It made me feel something inexplicable.
— My God! What a beautiful thing. — He got emotional when he heard the little hearts.
"Isn't that the most beautiful thing?" — I ask.
But Dylan didn't answer anything, just sealed our lips.
— They are well. “For a split second, I forgot the doctor was there.
— Perfect! — I said as soon as we separated our lips, it was just a peck, but it was something very important, at least for me.

As soon as we left the office. We didn't touch on the subject of the "kiss". Dylan said his car had broken down and asked me for a ride.
Of course, I did, but he wanted to go to a store first.
— Do you think I'm Uber? — I'm sarcastic.
"Please, Ayza . " — He talks and massages his temples.
— OK. I take a deep breath and get in my car. — Goes into! Put the address in the GPS.
He does it without complaining, we follow the path in silence. As we approach, I come across a huge baby store.
I park.
— Let's go? ’ I ask as soon as I turn off the car. Dylan looks at me intently. — I'm going alone. — I say and take off my belt.
I get out of the car and he walks me to the store.
The store had everything, even a stroller for the twins.
“Look at this, Ayza. Dylan was pointing at some cribs. — Let's take a pink and a blue one, what do you think?
— No, I prefer white. — I say.
I prefer something that could match the color of their room, although I haven't thought about it yet, as I still haven't decided on the color of the rooms.
"Are you going to have a room each?" — He stares at me.
— Yes. But for now, the two stayed in just one. He just nodded.
We bought a lot of things... Blankets, blankets, pillows, 2 cribs, 2 mosquito nets, a stroller, 2 comfort drinks, sheets, pillowcases, clothes from the coolest to winter ones, socks, gloves, caps...
We left loaded. Dylan wanted to pay for everything himself, but since I'm so proud, I didn't let him.
"Where do you want me to drop you off?" I ask as we get into my car.
"I'll walk you home." "Dylan doesn't tie a knot."
— No! “I'm pretty rough with him.
"How are you going to carry all this stuff?" He takes a deep breath. — Soon they delivered the cradles, and how are you going to assemble them?
— He is well. — On the one hand, he was right, the store had said it would deliver the cribs the same day.
