Chapter 104 Let's Play a Little Game of Disaster
The Beast's amusement seemed to have no bounds as he reveled in the chaos he had created. He appeared to relish every twist and turn of the situation, turning it into a macabre spectacle.

With a flourish, he produced two handguns, one for Rick and one for Mia, each with a single bullet loaded.

"Now, my dear guests," the Beast declared dramatically, "let's play a little game, shall we? A game of trust, betrayal, and survival."

He handed the guns to Rick and Mia, who accepted them with a sense of dread and resignation. The weight of the situation pressed down on them, the guns in their hands symbols of their perilous predicament.

The Beast continued, his voice dripping with theatricality, "Here's how it works. Each gun has only one bullet. You will take turns, one after the other. Rick, you'll go first. If your gun is empty when you pull the trigger, it's Mia's turn to shoot. And if her gun is empty when she pulls the trigger, it's back to you. Whoever dies first loses the game."

The room fell into a heavy silence as the gravity of the situation sank in. This deadly game of chance had the potential to claim lives, and there was no way out except to play along with the Beast's sadistic rules.

Rick and Mia exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with fear and uncertainty. They were trapped in a nightmarish scenario, forced to play a game of life and death by the very criminals they had come to confront.

The Beast leaned back in his chair, his malevolent smile never fading. "Let the game begin," he declared, savoring the tension in the room as Rick and Mia contemplated their choices, knowing that their every move was being watched by the merciless eyes of the Beast and his son, El Patrio.

The tension in the room was unbearable as Rick and Mia reluctantly prepared to play the deadly game laid out by the Beast. The first round began, and Rick, with trembling hands, pointed his gun at El Patrio and pulled the trigger. The deafening sound of the gunshot filled the room, but El Patrio remained unscathed. His gun was empty.

Mia's turn came next. She aimed the gun at Rick, her fingers shaking as she squeezed the trigger. Click. Rick, too, had an empty gun. Neither of them had been willing to take the life of the other, and it showed in their hesitance.

The Beast, sitting back with a wicked grin, applauded their performance. "Bravo! A thrilling start to the game, wouldn't you say?" He then turned to the men in the room and commanded, "Cheer them on, everyone!"

Reluctantly, those present in the room began to clap and cheer, creating a surreal atmosphere as they encouraged Rick and Mia to continue their life-or-death game.

As the cheers filled the room, the baby, who had been quiet until now, began to cry from the noise. The Beast's expression soured as he gestured toward Sergio, who had been standing silently on the sidelines.

"Sergio," the Beast barked, "take care of that noisy child. We can't have it disturbing our little spectacle."

Sergio nodded and approached the crying baby, trying to soothe it as he held it in his arms. This was his chance to send a signal to Carol. He discreetly activated a small device hidden on his person, connecting to Carol's communicator.

As the baby continued to cry, Sergio began to sing softly to it, using their prearranged code. It was a lullaby that only Carol would recognize, a signal that they needed to act soon.

Rick, determined to end the game and protect Mia, pointed his gun at El Patrio once again, his finger poised on the trigger. But before he could pull it, a sudden burst of gunfire erupted in the room. One of the Beast's men, positioned strategically to maintain the most dangerous position, had been hit by a bullet.

Chaos erupted as the room descended into panic. The Beast's men scrambled for cover, and El Patrio, shocked by the sudden turn of events, dropped his gun.

Carol had struck with deadly precision, taking out one of the threats and disrupting the Beast's carefully orchestrated game. The room was filled with the sound of gunfire and shouts as the power dynamic shifted once more, leaving the criminal empire in disarray.

The sudden burst of gunfire had thrown the room into chaos. Sergio, with the baby in his arms, grabbed Rick and Mia, pulling them toward the exit as fast as he could. El Patrio, disoriented by the unexpected turn of events, stumbled after them.

Outside the room, Daniel and Claus sprang into action. They exchanged rapid fire with the Beast's men, using whatever cover they could find. Bullets whizzed past them, chipping away at the walls as they provided cover for Sergio and the others.

"Move!" Sergio shouted, his voice urgent, as he led the group toward the exit. The baby's cries echoed in the chaos.

The Beast's men, their priority now focused on protecting their boss, took cover, temporarily halting their pursuit of Sergio and the others.

Carol, Claus, and Daniel seized this opportunity. They sprinted through the corridors, following their carefully planned exit route. The sound of gunfire still echoed behind them.

As they ran, Carol called out to Sergio through their communicator, "Sergio, keep moving! We've got your back!"

Sergio and the others continued to make their way through the labyrinthine passages of the casino, guided by the team's well-thought-out escape plan. The adrenaline coursed through their veins as they raced against time, knowing that the Beast and his men would not give up easily. The casino's emergency alarms blared, adding to the pandemonium.

Back in the room they had left behind, the Beast, furious and determined, barked orders at his men to give chase. "Don't let them escape! We can't afford to lose them!"

But the relentless gunfire from Carol, Claus, and Daniel forced the Beast's men to remain in cover temporarily, giving Sergio and the others a precious head start.
