Moving closer to her, his mesmerizing scent was becoming more evident, and that familiar feeling was getting stronger and stronger!
Micaela felt entranced; had she stepped out of one danger into another?
She let go of his hand and tried to pull back, but the man's hand didn't let go of her at all.
-Hey!
Mr. Gallo had already reached them.
-The woman in your arms is mine! Give her back to me before I get angry!
Carlos raised an eyebrow and looked at the man, with shrewd, cold eyes, as he asked the question back:
-Yours?
-Yes! Mine! Give it back to me!
Actually, Mr. Gallo was a little afraid for the man in front of him, because he had a badass air about him, on top of that he had two bodyguards behind him.
But he had exchanged an order worth 1 million for that woman!
Besides, how could he let such a beauty get away?
Micaela struggled to get out of his arms, but the man held her tighter, and her body seemed to be quite comfortable in his arms.
Carlos felt that he no longer looked like himself.
-Do you want me to give you away?
Carlos whispered in her ear, feeling surrounded by that scent, which he found especially soothing and made him even more certain that he had seen her somewhere before.
Micaela shook her head strongly.
The corners of Carlos' mouth curved glamorously.
-If you want me to save you, you'll have to pay the price!
He looked up and turned coldly to the man in a mess.
-This woman is not for you, get out!
-You...
Mr. Gallo was so angry that he was speechless for a moment.
-Let go of me...
Micaela's face was red and her consciousness was fading.
Carlos hugged her tighter and whispered in her ear.
-What? Do you regret it? Are you willing to be taken by that disgusting man?
The warm breath scattered behind her ears tickled, and with the alcohol taking effect, she felt weaker and weaker all over her body.
-No, I... I don't want to go with him.
"I won't let Adriana have her way!".
-Ja...
He lightly kissed her earlobe, making her shiver.
-Tell me, why do you smell so good?
Marginalized to the side, Mr. Gallo was more than nervous.
The man in front of him was obviously someone he couldn't afford to offend, and even if he was quite successful in Teladia, this man in front of him was definitely above him by his aura!
But it was a shame to give up such a beautiful woman, so he blurted out something without thinking:
-Why don't you let me throw her away and I'll give her to you when I'm done?
Carlos' eyes instantly shot a cold light and he looked at Mr. Gallo with a merciless look.
-You're asking for death!
With Micaela in his arms, Carlos delivered a magnificent kick to Mr. Gallo's chest!
Mr. Gallo suddenly shot out... Covering his chest and sitting against the wall, with blood gushing from the corner of his mouth, he was more than stupefied.
Micaela was in shock, he had just moved in such a way that she unconsciously wrapped her arms around his neck and the man's hands did not leave her waist.
-Sir!
Two bodyguards approached to ask.
Carlos took Micaela in his arms.
-Tell Jack to cancel tonight's meeting. Don't bother me.
With a glance at Mr. Gallo, who was screaming in pain, he turned away in disgust and headed for the elevator.
-Get this son of a bitch.
-Yes.
Carlos carried Micaela in his arms all the way up the elevator to the VIP suite on the top floor.
Due to the effects of the drug, Micaela felt as if her strength had been drained from her, and with her feet in the air, she was even more entranced.
Throwing Micaela on the white bed, she stood up nervously, she was much more conscious after being thrown like that, and looked around, the place was a hundred times more luxurious....
As she tried to get up, a pair of large hands squeezed her shoulders and she looked up, only to fall into those deep eyes....
He was so handsome, with voluminous black hair, a pair of thick eyebrows, long and slightly curled eyelashes, deep dark eyes where his lost little face was reflected, an attractive nose and thin perfect lips slightly curved with a hint of mischief.
Carlos also looked seriously at Micaela, her eyes were even more beautiful than when they were unfocused, there was no doubt that they were eyes that knew how to speak for themselves.
He searched his mind for an impression of that face, but nothing!
Even though he didn't relate to women, he shouldn't have forgotten such a beautiful face!
But how could her scent be so familiar to him if he had never seen her before?
-What? Do you think I look handsome? -Carlos spoke.
Micaela jerked her head away, what had happened to her? She was so lost looking at him that she tried to pull her arm away, but she couldn't. "So what if you're handsome?
-So what if you are handsome? You're still the guy who tries to take advantage of me in a situation like this.
Carlos laughed, he had been scolded, but he was happy. His thumb brushed her lips, they were gelatinous, he thought surely they would taste better when he kissed her.
The white silk jacket she wore was in shit, because even her bra was showing. Her face was flushed, her heart was fluttering and her hands were clenched into fists so tightly that her nails dug into the flesh.
It wasn't just dope to put her to sleep, if it had been anyone else, it would have been much worse, she would have been at the mercy of others without any will of her own, but she was still resisting, her eyes glowing!
Her perseverance, her endurance, surprised him.
Carlos' forehead rested on hers, the temperature was frighteningly high.
-Little girl, are you so stubborn?
His large palm enveloped her small fist, then he separated her fingers one by one, and sure enough, the palm was already furrowed with deep, bloody nail marks.
-Let me go.
Micaela looked him nonchalantly in the eye, gasping under her breath, but with a look of defiance.
What an interesting woman! She was still resisting in this situation. And he, simply by the smell of her, and her unconscious rubbing, had become very interested in her.
-No. I made it clear when I took you out there, you will pay the price.
Micaela tried to say something, but the handsome face suddenly moved closer and his thin lips pressed against hers, blocking her slightly open mouth....
Micaela looked away and Carlos pushed her slightly and she fell back on the bed. She tried to do the same as before, but he saw her coming and pinned her down.
With weak and exhausted limbs, Micaela's consciousness was slowly fading, and she kept struggling to push him away.
-Why, we don't know each other at all, why...?
Micaela knew she was on the weak side and tried to argue anyway.
-Because you smell good, because I want to," said Carlos in an arrogant way.
-What, do you give a shit about the laws?!
Carlos caressed her delicate cheek and found it clearly fascinating to observe the anger in her eyes; it had been a long time since he had been interested in anything, but this woman had managed to awaken his interest.
-Ha, at this moment, I only have eyes for you," Carlos said and made a move to kiss her....
-You bastard!
Micaela turned her head away, and her words had used up all her strength.
Carlos approached her and exhaled a hot breath in her ear.
-Remember that this bastard's name is Carlos!
Micaela felt only a sudden sharp pain in the side of her neck, her mind went blank, and she passed out.
