BANISHMENT

"Naferes! What do you want?"

[Daren, come along with enough warriors to my favorite waterfall now.]

[On it Alpha, ] Daren sensed Damien's voice was kind of laced with worries so he didn't bother asking what was going on.

[Every single available warrior meets me out of the pack now, Alpha and Luna are in danger.] The whole pack shivers when they heard what the beta said through the connection. The last time the Alpha was in danger they lost a lot of their mate, they were scared this was just like then. Some females were begging their mates not to go, but who are they to deny the Alpha's order?

The whole pack was cold as ice, the members' faces laced with tears as they watched their mate go with the Beta.

"Well you know what I want, stop pretending as if you don't." Naferes bawl.

[We can't fight them, they are too many of them] Serena let out.

[What should we do then?]

[Get out of here as fast as possible. Close your eyes hold his hands and think of his room or anywhere safe from them right now.]

[What? The last time I did it didn't work, How do I even have the power to do that? Let's call on Sophia.]

[Selena you can do that on your own, you don't need to continue depending on people. It's one of our powers we can teleport to where ever we want to go….. Why do you think they don't want us alive?] Selena could sense her wolf getting irritated by her.

"Well, she is my mate. I won't let any of you scoundrels lay a finger on her!" Damien retorted, pushing his mate beside him.

"We will see about that Alpha." In just an instant the vampires surge toward them wanting to attack them.

[Now!] Selena quickly closed her eyes holding her mate, she thought of the pack and just as if they were not there before. They disappear from the presence of vampires.

Naferes was shocked by what he just witnessed, "Her wolf is awake and started teaching her how to use her powers." Naferes let out.

"Your Highness, if that is so then it will be kind of hard to get them."

"That explains why she recalled her memory quickly." Naferes was so furious he couldn't get Selena that day.

He looked in the pack's direction. "We can't go to their world now, but I promise to get you on my next visit." Naferes snarled.

"The little Alpha already called for backup they will be here soon. Let's all leave now! The fight won't take place today." With this, they all begin speeding out of the woods with Naferes being the last to leave.

Selena opened her eyes and found themselves in front of the pack. "Yay! We did it, Serena!" She squealed.

Damien looked in her direction, he pulled her toward him checking her body to see if there was any wound. "What is this for?" Selena giggled.

"I should ask you what was that? How come we are standing before the pack building?"

"We teleported here! Serena helped, she explained saying it's one of my powers." Selena explained. Damien nods in understanding.

"You should thank me, I am not weak I was able to help today." Selena squeaks out. Damien smiled and gave a dramatic bow, "I am grateful for today, my lit…"

"Hey! Don't you say that sentence, I am not a little girl!" Selena gives an eye roll.

"Oh my bad, I am grateful for today, my great Luna." He said expatiating the great.

"Yeah, that's more like it," Selena responded delightedly. They both went into the pack, meeting the confusing and sad faces of their members. They all rose to show some respect to the Alpha.

Damien walked toward the direction of his office after just giving them a nod. Selena noticed they felt anxious, they wanted to ask them some questions but were too scared to ask.

So she halted her steps making Damien also stop walking with confusion lace on his face. Selena turned back to the members who sat dejectedly back and removed Damien's hold from her. [What are you doing?]

But Selena didn't give a response.

"You all don't seem happy, is there something bothering you all?" They all looked surprised and at the same time happy, it's been a long time since they have a higher rank to care for them that way. Though Damien cares for them he hardly shows it out, they don't even have the heart to go meet the Alpha.

Staring at their new Luna's and also soon to be queen's cute innocent face, they wanted to vent out their whole frustration. But, with the look on the Alpha's face, they couldn't make a single sound.

Selena was shocked by her boldness in facing that amount of people and also asking a question without her voice faltering. She was also sad they didn't even bother to reply to her questions. She looked down disappointed in her failure not to get them to talk to her. She wondered why it hurt though. She was the type who doesn't care what others say or think about her, she doesn't even talk to people.

"I want you all to know I will be here to hear all your worries and also with the little powers I have, I would help you guys one way or the other." Selena doesn't even know what she was saying.

"There you go Selena, what the hell do you think you are doing?"

[Stop stressing that little brain of yours, you are the Luna so you feel worried for your pack, you couldn't bear seeing their sad faces. So as a Luna you wanted to make them feel less worried.] Damien explained to his mate through a mind link. He was proud his mate is now improving.

[Really? Thanks for….]

"We are sorry for making you worried Luna, The beta has said some warriors were needed to save you both, we were just worried their mates weren't back yet when you guys are now here," Jane explained.

She could see the disappointment on Selena's face when no one responded to her question. Being a bit close to her she knows it was hard for her to do what she just did, it won't also be nice if her question wasn't answered.

[Oh! You called for their help?] Selena looked toward Damien, now understanding the situation.

Damien recalled he asked for backup and quickly mind linked his beta.

[You should all turn back, my mate rendered a great help today. Don't question me, when you get back to the pack, you will get your answers] Damiens declared.

[Alright, Alpha] Daren replied.

[The Alpha won't be needing our help, he ordered us to turn back to the Park, ] he told the werewolves going with him through their connection.

They all stopped at once with relief flushing their faces that there won't be any more fights and also confusion about why they don't need to continue their journey.[What about the Alpha? Do you think he is fine? Won't he need our help.]

[He told us to go back to the pack, that is the only thing I know and can say.] Daren explained, and they all turned back in the packs direction.

[Tell them there was no fight, that I just asked for their well being and their mates would be back soon safe and sound.]

Damien told his mate. He loves this side of his mate, even with the things she went through he never expected her to be this nice. He is also happy now that his Luna would be able to communicate with the pack members freely without them being scared when they want to talk about their problems.

Selena told the members what Damien had said. With Selena's explanation, relief and happiness flush their faces including Jane's. "Thanks a lot, Luna," they all thanked her, with happiness lacing in their tone.

Selena was happy to see they were now happy, she smiled heavily and left with her mate to his room, Selena doesn't feel like going to her room, and she recalled she hasn't spent much time with Sophia.

"Dam, can I go spend some time with Sophia?"

"No," Damien said curtly surprising Selena.

"Why haven't you let me spend some time since the….."

"Flower, promise not to go close to her for the time being."

"Why? She might be your step sister but doesn't have an evil act." Selena explained timidly.

"But her mum won't think of that before hurting you. She was the reason for your disappearance, so I can't let you go close to Sophia for now okay?"

"Fine, I want to go to Smith,"

"I won't let you tell me not to go to him, I wanna spend more time with him.." Selena said with pouted lip…. "Flower…"

"Common I promise not to leave wherever he is…" Selena made a puppy face pouting her lips more and poking Damien on his chest. "Stop it… it's ticklish." Damien cracks trying to stop her. Selena stopped, looking up at him innocently, "Should I go?" She asked.

"Fine, but only if you promise not to….."

"I promise!" She screamed, not letting him complete his sentence.

"You will only go with Andrew," Damien said again.

"What is the need if I can just teleport there," she answered.

"But."

"Bye…" she disappeared from his presence. [Smith! Is she with you now?] He mind link Smith for the first time, he couldn't bear letting her be in danger again.

[Who are you…. Oh, she's here.]

[Anything happens to her, you will be gone. I don't care what relationship you have with her.] He threatened.

"You must be having a great time keeping her away from Sophia," Damien heard the familiar voice.
