"This is just wonderful!" I said to Travis.
"Tell me about it first time I have ever taken Holidays," he said. The clock counted down.
Five, four, three, two, one. The floor fell out from under us we all grabbed our tether rope that keep us together. No one could see it but us it went through everything and never broke. We pulled our scarfs up over our faces as we landed. I looked over at Jaxx he heard everything. He could hear a drop of water fall from fifty miles away.  He shook his head. Good no one heard us land. Nash had the eyesight of a hawk at 200 feet in the air. He pointed south Travis led the way, Earl right behind him lance and Nash then Earl and I up the rear watching our backs. We had landed in the courtyard now we flanked the building moving quickly but quietly. Travis put his hand up for us to stop. We had come to a door. Jaxx listened then counted down from five to one on his leather gloved hand. Earl touched the door handle, and it opened. We all moved inside keeping to the wall we came to an alcove we ducked inside I put up a barrier no one could see us or hear us.
We waited as Jaxx Listened.
"Got it he is on the 4th floor right wing sounds like four guards." He told us.
Earl went invisible and stepped out of the alcove. He moved along the wall then my eyes lost him. I was only able to see his silhouette the other could not see him at all. Five minutes later he was back. Weird stairwell up ahead it has missing stairs every eight steps there are five missing. Each eight there is another missing there is only one wall the other side is open and a hell of a drop." He told us.
"Well hell we should have brought a flyer with us." I said.
"Lance how far can you jump?" Travis asked not like he did not know the answer.
"It is not a matter of the jump it us getting everyone up." Lance said.
"Let's go the tether will hold." I told them. Nash and I took the lead to the stairwell. We just got inside as we heard voices coming down the stairs. I put up a barrier so they could not see us. We watched them come down the stairs. When they got to where there were no stair they touched something on the wall with something in their hand and the stairs appeared.
"Extinguish them, get what they have in their hand." I said.
Nash moved forward.
"Where the hell did you come from?" One of them yelled. But no one heard him in a flash of light they were gone Nash picked up the circular objects and gave one to me and one to Travis.
"Stair problem solved," Nash chuckled.
"Hold up Jaxx said. There are guards running down the stairs about ten by the sounds of it." He said. We had no where to go Travis and I looked at each other then we jumped, dammit this was going to hurt.

EMMA'S POV
Leigh just did the scan on my head, and we were waiting for the result. Ben looked as worried as I felt. Leigh came in Helena was with her.
"Emma good news and slightly bad news," Leigh said.
"What is it?" Ben asked.
"Your not healing because they never cleaned out all the bone fragments." Leigh told us.
"What does that mean?" I asked.
"Mom, we are going to take you into surgery and remove them then Dawn will be able to heal you." Helena said.
"I don't understand why she could not heal with them their?" I asked. They will cause damage if they get into your brain Dawn has been trying to heal and push them out. They are very tiny I would have missed them too if I had not done the scan I would have never known that they chipped off an old injury when what ever smashed into your head and cut it. I'm surprised you walking and talking at all humans would have a swollen brain and possibly die eight times out of ten." Leigh told me.
"Dad you can help mom get ready we will come for her shortly," Helena told Ben. Then her and Leigh left the room.
Ben wrapped his arms around me and just held me close. The nurse came in with a hospital gown for me to put on. Once I was changed she started an IV. and took some blood. Shorty after a nurse came and took me to the operating room. Helena kissed my forehead and told me not to worry just as I was going to sleep.
Emma, Emma come on wake up now," I heard Leigh say. I slowly opened my eyes.
"Hi mom, we got all the pieces Your healing up better now. I'm going to go get dad. " Helena said. Then left the room. Leigh helped me sit up.
"Did Helena just operate on my?" I asked Leigh.
"Yes, she is the best brain surgeon we have," Leigh said getting a drink of water.
"Well I guess she can honestly say she has been inside my head," I told Leigh laughing.
Leigh tried to give me a disapproving look but started to chuckle. Drink your water.  I will take you back to the pack house in a couple hours. We will see how you are tomorrow whether you can go to the cottage or not." Leigh said going out of the room as Ben was coming in. He came over to my bed side he never said a word just held me close to him.
"What is it?" I finally asked him, thinking something had happened back home.
"Things just keep happening that can take you from me. I can't lose you ever." Ben said tears in his eyes.
"I'm not going anywhere anytime soon love," I told him.
"I hope we can go to the cabin soon, I want you all to myself for a while I have missed our time alone." Ben said I kissed his hands that now held mine.
"I would like that more than anything too," I told him. Time went quickly and Leigh came and took us back to the pack house. I had to stay in bed so Ben and I curled up together and watched an old western movie. I fell asleep halfway through it. The next morning after breakfast Leigh removed the bandages and checked my head.
"Now that is more like it, great job Dawn," Leigh said.
"Is it completely healed?" I asked hoping she would say yes.
"Enough you don't need it bandaged but not enough for you to go to the cabin yet. I'm sure it will be tomorrow. You know the best part.?" She asked me.
"Their is a good part to this?" I asked.
