Chapter 23

~ Wolfendon ~

Henrik wondered through the forest. He wasn't doing well and couldn't walk very well. He was all alone after he told Wallace to run very far away. He killed the vampires who attacked them ,he was very lucky to have not gotten killed by them or else he would he lying on the bed a dead man.

He got to the border ,the guards who were at the border noticed him and thought he was an invader but he was quick to yell and then they realized that he was one of them.

They took him back to the palace to have him treated. Rorhy came to check up on him and luckily it wasn't as serious as he thought he was ,he was just going to be bed ridden for a day or too

Wallace heard that Henrik had arrived and ran to see him . He didn't think he could it,not that he had any doubts being the fact that Henrik was an excellent fighting but the situation of things back there seemed more serious and made him had doubts in his mind.

" Gosh,I thought you wouldn't make it " Wallace said and sat beside him. Henrik just laughed at him for thinking such a dumb thing. He was one of the best fighters in the town and two amateurs fighters couldn't take him down.

" They're gonna need to try harder than that then " he said referring to the vampires. He wasn't that type of person who would give up easily and was ready to fight with all his might even if it took his life.

" But they got you he'd ridden " Wallace mocked and Henrik just gave him a playful glare.

They spent the rest of the evening talking until Rorhy came to inform Wallace to let Henrik take rest for a while then they could continue their discussion.

Alexanvian got to his aunt's chamber. He already had a clue of what she was going to talk about and to be honest he wasn't interested in any of this craps. He was the king and could make any decisions by himself ,he did need his aunt butting into everything.

" Aunt" he said and took a seat close to hers. His aunt was the only person he fears in the entire palace especially with the fact that she was the one who raised him to become the man he was today. She believed that a king must be competent and ready for battle anytime ,she made him train day and night .

She had always taught him to he brave , courageous and loyal to his coven. He should never think of betraying them and should be ready to lay his life for them at the same time he should have their best interest at heart

" Alexanvian, how're you?" She asked . Alexanvian didn't really want to beat around the bush and wished she would just go straight to the point.

" I know you want to talk about the werewolf" he said crossing his legs. She smiled ,she knew that alexanvian wasn't the type of person who would play around so he just cut to the chase.

" Since you know that I'll just go straight to the point" she said to him. She got up from where she was seated earlier and made her dramatic turns,it was something that they were all used too and knew that it was apart of her.

" She's a werewolf and our enemy but you dare bring her into this house,have you no fear at all?" His aunt asked him. Being the man that he was especially not a dramatic one he didn't really feel the need to explain to her. He liked having things his way and liked it the way people always agree with him but his aunt was a different case.

" I'm the king so I feel like whatever I do shouldn't be questioned" he said dryly. His aunt looked at him as if he had grown two horns or so.

" Oh,so now you want to use your power against me ?" She asked. Alexanvian got up from where he was seating earlier. He didn't want to argue with her,he didn't care what she had to say.

" She's staying and that's it" he said and walked out of her Chamber. He ignored her not even minding the fact that she kept calling his name .

He went to his room and decided that he was just going to take a quick nap. He was tired of everyone asking him about the werewolf girl. He wanted to use her for his benefit but yet again there was another thing ,another desire that he had been trying to ignore and and get away from but that desire just keeps growing.

He keeps seeing her beautiful eyes and eyes. He wondered why that captivated him the first time he saw her. She was supposed to be his enemy but yet that same enemy created a weird feeling inside of him. He couldn't get her out of her head and decided there and then that he was going crazy.

He decided that he was going to we her. He didn't know any good that will do but he just wanted to see her. He went over to her room and saw her seating on her bed just smiling at him although it had an effect on him it also made him suspicious.

She would never just smile at him. He knew that she was definitely hiding something and she was being really suspicious.

" What are you doing here?" She asked getting up from her bed and getting close to him. Alexanvian noticed her fair longs,there we full on display that it turned him on .

" I wanted to give you a tour round the house" he told her. She was shocked at first wondering why he a while king wanted to give her a tour round the house but just played along with it.

" Ok" she said and went out the room with him.
