Chapter 76 Regrets and Realizations
She felt relieved when she woke up and recognized she was now in her private room in the hospital. The last time she remembers is she pass out after giving birth to her child in the delivery room. The happiness she felt when she heard the first cry of her baby and wanting to hold him in her arms was such an amazing feeling but she was too exhausted to move for she lost all her strength in delivering her precious baby. The last thing she could remember before she pass out was when the doctor told her that she delivered a healthy baby boy.
Now that she got awaken, she suddenly felt excited to see and hold her baby and as her eyes roam around and started to look for a particular person she wanted to see as her heart suddenly melted by the scene she had captured with a warm smile slowly painted her lips, there's the man she loves now sitting on the bench located beside her bed while his head lies on the other side of her bed as he sleeps. This has always been her dream before, to wake up in the morning seeing his face each and every day of her life. She once had that dream but some evil bitch came into their lives and destroy what she had. She easily believed her lies and left the dream she live. She has to admit she became foolish because she easily gave up without knowing the whole truth. She never listen to her husband's side and recklessly made decisions that will hurt them both. But now, she had made up a new decision. She will get back her man and will make up with him.
It seemed he had slept watching over her. For sure she had made him worried the whole night while she was at the delivery room laboring their child. Gazing at her husband's face, she suddenly felt compassion for him. She watched her as she notice the knot on his forehead. His five o'clock shadow on his upper lip and all over his chin are starting to grow and his eye bags are a bit obvious too. He looked exhausted and seemed depressed for days. She also notice his face got thinner and narrow and it looks like he had lost weight.
God, what he had done to himself...
She gently caressed his face as she stare at him so endearingly. Oh, the man she love, she couldn't help to feel sympathy for the suffering she had brought him when she left. Now she believe he had been miserable through the few months of their separation. His looks and appearance now show the proof.
God, I had missed him so much... I love him so damn much...
She constantly keep on watching him until she noticed he suddenly moved after a moment. When his eyes opened, his glance flew on hers and their gazes locked.
Oh, his adorable blue pools, I had missed them too. His deep stare goes through the depths of my soul. He's the only man that could make me feel this way. The only man that always have the capacity to make some havoc in my feelings and make my heart flip in unreasonable joy. The only man I ever love and will always love for all eternity. I had missed him, I missed him so damn much...
"You're awake..." He stated in a husky tone.
Oh, that endearing look and concern on his face, her heart couldn't help to jerk in so much joy at the moment.
"How do you feel? Does something hurt in your body? You want me to call a Doctor?" He worriedly asked.
With that, different emotions suddenly rush all over her as tears she couldn't stop started to fall on her cheeks. Her husband always thought about her welfare first before anything else. She had missed this kind of concern and sweetness, his sympathetic gestures, and overflowing love.
Why did she ever doubt his love? Why did she never believe him when he said he love her? Why did she never listen to his explanations and give up on him so easily? And why she was so stupid enough to let their marriage be ruined by some pathetic bitch who has filthy plans.
"Hey... You know I hate myself when I made you cry. Is my presence hurting you? I'm sorry, I just got worried when I found you're about to deliver our child. You want me to go out of the room and leave?" He said worriedly.
She sobbed more hearing that bitter words from him. She saw the tinge of sadness in his eyes when he spoke those words. She could see the pain and bitterness through his face and heaven knows how she badly wanted to pull him for a tight embrace to take away the pain she caused him.
"Oh, Thyago..." She felt her voice broke but she did not care.
And then with no hesitations, she finally did what she was dying to do the moment she saw him awaken from sleep. She immediately embraced him so tight like she don't want to let him go. It's as if her life depended on him that if she ever loosen her hold onto him, she will die instantly. Yes, her life depended on him for he was the only man who has the capacity to break her heart and make it whole again. He was her life, her estimable behalf.
"W-Wifey..." Thyago's eyes widen in shock not expecting Bea's action. He got confused and worried about his wife's sudden reaction.
"W-What's wrong?" Concern and curiosity were obvious in his voice.
She then sobbed hard in his chest until she suddenly felt Thyago's arms envelop her and gently caress her back to comfort her.
