Epilogue

The next day Avika started with Samar to Bangalore. He took her to Bangalore without telling the reason. They checked in a hotel and got fresh up.

"Are you tired?" Samar said.

"No, I am fine. Two hours journey that too in the flight can't make me tired, Samar."

"I want to tell you something," he said looking at her eyes.

"What?"

"The bastards who ruined your life are dead," he said very angrily.

"How do you know?"

"It was I who delivered their punishment unto them."

"Samar," Avika held his arm, scared of him getting arrested.

"Don't worry. I won't get arrested as I didn't kill them. I have just planned their death. They were dead by fighting among themselves and killed one another," Samar said.

Avika rested her head on his shoulder with tears.

"They robbed a bank. I had appointed a person to steal that money. As they were in sleep, they don't know who had stolen the money. They doubted and killed one another. Jashwesh killed by his friends and then one by one. I handed the money over to the government through the same person who had stolen it from them. No proof against me. So, I am safe," Samar said, making her relax.

"Why did we come here?" Avika said.

"To meet your parents," Samar said.

"They won't forgive me, Samar."

"They will forgive you for sure. Just trust me. In the evening, we are going to meet your dad," he said.

In the evening, they went to meet Avika's maternal family. She was so scared but Samar told her to be strong. Samar held her hand and kissed it.

"Samar," Avika pouted.

"You look so cute when you are in tension, when you pout, when you blush..."

"Enough, I know whatever I do, you will say that I am cute."

"Yes, because you are really cute."

"I love you."

"I love you too. Don't worry, I will set everything right," he said and Avika smiled.

Avika knows well that he will set everything right. He stopped the car near her maternal home. Samar asked her to stay outside until he calls her. She nodded and stood there near the door.

Samar went inside to talk to Avika's father. He really doesn't know how to convince them but he decided to convince them for her happiness. As a husband, he can give her whatever she wants. She no need to even open her mouth to ask anything. Just if she thinks she wants something, he will bring that for her. But the only thing that he can't give her is her parents' love.

For any girl, love from parents is necessary. It gives her a confidence and makes her happy. Samar didn't want her to miss anything in her life. He decided to convince her parents and his parents too. He wanted to give her every little happiness.

"Excuse me," Samar said and Avika's mom looked at him "You are…" She tried to recognize him.

"I am Samar Agarwal, aunty. Hope you remember me," Samar said and she smiled.

Her smile showed hidden pain. Samar knew that she now recognized him and remembered Avika. However, parents are always parents. Though they show anger, they always love their children. She called Avika's dad and he invited Samar to come inside the house.

"How are you, Samar?" Avika's dad said.

"I am fine, uncle. How are you and your family? How is Avika?"

"We are fine, Samar. Avika? Didn't you remember that I have already told you that she was expired before three years," he said and Samar clenched.

"How can he say that about my Avika? He may be angry but he had no right to talk like that. What if anything happens to her because of his words? I can't live without her. She might have heard his words by now. I know she will shed tears listening his words," Samar was upset.

"Actually uncle, I came here for a tour with my wife and I heard you are staying here. So, I came to see you all once."

"That's great to hear that you moved on. Where is your wife?"

"She is waiting outside."

"Call her, Samar Tell her to come inside."

"Sure, uncle. But I don't think you will be comfortable if she comes inside."

"No, Samar. She is equal to my daughter. Tell her to come inside."

Samar nodded and called Avika. He went to the door and held her hand, asking her to come inside. She stepped in but hid behind him. Samar kept his hand around her shoulders and her parents saw her. They are in shock.

"Stop there, Avika. Don't try to come in," Avika's dad shouted at her.

"Why, uncle? You told me to call my wife inside the house," Samar said.

"Wife? Is she your wife? Do you know about her?"

"I know everything about her more than you," Samar said.

"Uncle, what's her mistake to deserve this hatred? Loving or trusting is never wrong. May be the person she chose was wrong but not her love. I have seen many youngsters who never reveal their love to their parents or cheating on loved one and marrying someone else. But she didn't do either.

She told you about her love. She never has any idea of cheating you or the one whom she loved. It's not her fault. As a parent, you should bring the truth before her eyes instead of forcing her to marry me. Uncle, she valued every relationship, but she faced betrayal by everyone.

Her love betrayed her and her parents who should lend her a supporting hand, left her in the darkness. You didn't show her any difference between family and outers. Being her family, you too blamed her and threw her away. Family should understand and correct the mistakes done by one another, but not to send them into depression by pointing out mistakes again and again," Samar said and Avika held his arm tightly with tears in her eyes.

"Uncle, you are thinking about your reputation, but please think once about your daughter. Avika is your daughter. She doesn't know to hurt or do wrong. She went through so much pain in her life. She faced all alone. Try to think from her perception.

Uncle, I can bring anything in this world for her with my wealth and keep it at her feet. She is a princess to me. I am ready to do anything for her happiness. But I can't give her parents love. Only you can give her that parents love. If I reconcile her with you all, only then she will be completely happy.

If I talk anything wrong, I am so sorry. But please accept her into your family again. I am requesting you for my wife. Please give her parents love and her maternal family. Please, uncle," Samar said and went on his knees before Avika's father.

"Samar, get up," Avika's dad said.

He hugged Samar. He asked Avika to come to him. She was scared of him, but her dad hugged her too. Avika burst into tears and touched his feet.

"I am sorry, dad. I didn't understand your words that day. I am really sorry," Avika said and her dad hugged her again.

"It's ok, Avika. I am sorry for leaving you alone when you need your family by your side the most," her dad said wiping her tears.

Avika's mom and sister-in-law hugged her. Her brother hugged Samar. They both took the blessings from her mom and dad. Her dad asked them to stay there and Samar instantly accepted as he knows that Avika love to stay with her family.

They had dinner together and Avika came to the room late as she was talking to her mom and sister-in-law. Samar smiled seeing her so happy after a longtime. She sat on the bed and he took her onto his lap. He hugged her from the back and kissed on the cheek. He whispered in her ears.

"Are you happy, sweet heart?"

"Yes, thank you so much," Avika said, blushing at his naughty acts.

"So, in your happiness you forgot your husband, am I right?" He said, kissing her back.

"How can I forget my husband when he is the only reason behind my happiness?"

"Really? so pay him for giving you all this happiness," he said making her lie on bed.

He started placing soft kisses on her neck and collar bone.

"Whatever I do, I can't repay debt of my husband for all that he did for me."

"You can repay him by never leaving him in your life and bearing his heir," Samar said, kissing her belly. But he stopped and looked at her.

"Can you give me a symbol of our love?" Samar said.

Avika nodded. He took her into his arms.

"Are you really ready to invite new responsibility into your life?"

"Of course, Samar. When you are with me, I can handle everything so easily," Avika said.

He kissed her lips slowly, making her smile. His touch always took her into another world where she felt that only they existed and rest of the world was frozen. That was a heaven where she experienced his true love. He completely made her all his by giving her a right to bear his child.

After a few days, they returned to their home. Samar's dad forgave and started talking to Avika, but his mother still angry with Avika.

It had been six months and Avika was happy with Samar, her maternal family, business, and everything, but still, it hurt her when Samar's mom avoided her. Samar, Prema, and his dad tried convincing her, but still Garima was very anger with her.

Suddenly, nausea started and Avika fainted at home. When she opened her eyes, she was on Samar's mom's lap. She was in shock. Samar came to her and gave sweet to her. She looked at him confusedly.

"Take it, Avika," Garima said.

She got surprised and got up from her lap.

"Mom, are you talking to me? Did you forgive me?" She asked.

"Of course, sweetie, I may not forgive my daughter-in-law, but I must forgive my grandchild's mother, right?" Garima said, confusing her.

Avika looked at Samar and he nodded.

Her eyes again started shedding tears, but this time it's happy tears. For the next six months, everyone treated Avika as a kid and gave her lots of love. Garima started pampering her and scolding Samar, even if he glared at her. Of course, he gets angry very rarely at her and obviously that too when she quits food or works too much, but however he can't scold her even at that time.

She was enjoying the cool breeze and Samar wrapped her in his arms. They were having a sweet and lovely chitchat. Suddenly Avika had labor pains. She shouted and fell in his arms. Samar took her in his arms to the car.

Avika fainted, and when she woke up, her whole family—Samar, her in-laws, her parents, her brother and her sister-in-law, Akshara and her brother-in-law, Prema and Virat—were with her. Samar came to her and sat beside her. As the doctor said, everyone went out except Samar. He showed their baby to her. She was as cute as an angel.

Two months passed by and Avika's birthday arrived. Everyone has their own plans to celebrate it. They were more excited than her for her birthday. Her mother-in-law became a friend to her now. She is loving her so much. Samar started teasing her saying that his parents and sister joined her party leaving him alone.

Avika woke up in the morning on her birthday.

"Happy Birthday, baby" Samar said.

"Thank you," Avika said smiling.

He had already celebrated her birthday at 12 AM in their room. Now again he planned many surprises for her. He closed her eyes and then, opened their room door. He removed the blindfold.

"Wow," Avika exclaimed.

Red and white balloons came into her room as soon as door was opened. She played with balloons happily. Then she saw her whole family standing there. She gulped seeing his parents and her parents. She glared at Samar as he didn't say that they were standing there. He smiled and gave a side hug to her. They all greeted her with birthday wishes. She took the parents' blessings and went to the temple with Samar and Rudrika (their baby).

Avika closed her eyes to pray. She remembered all the incidents of her life. Meeting Samar, his proposal, marrying him, the ups and downs of their married life—where love eventually won out—reconciling with her parents, and giving birth to their baby.

Samar's love made Avika's life colorful. Avika thought to stay in the darkness and grief. But his love painted her life with beautiful colors and made it a Rainbow where she saw different shades of love: complete acceptance, care, trust, anger, support, possessiveness, and forgiveness.

"Thank you, God for making my life a blessing with Samar's love. I am forever indebted to you and Samar. I love you, both. Please, bless my Samar with happiness and love. Let this happiness stay forever in our lives. Please shower your blessings and kindness on our family and friends forever," Avika said and looked at Samar, who was playing with their baby Rudrika.

"Shall we go, Avika?" he asked, and she nodded.

He gave baby to her and kept his hand over her shoulders from the back. In the evening, they arranged a grand party. Her family and friends arrived at the party. Avika cut the cake.

"Feed the cake to the one whom you love the most in our family," Samar said smirking.

The entire family stared at Avika excitedly to know whom she loves the most.

"I will make it easy for you. I am not participating in this. Because I already know that I am the one whom you love the most," Samar said and Avika gave a serious look at him.

Avika chose the person to whom she should feed the cake. She fed their baby, Rudrika.

"I love my entire family. I fed baby because baby shared the blood of both our families. She is the symbol of the bonding and affection our families share. I love you all," Avika said and everyone has happy tears in their eyes.

Samar smiled at her. They had a group hug and a photographer captured these happy moments with his camera. Finally, her life was filled with enormous happiness and love.

'I love you, Samar,' Avika thought as she gazed at Samar.

"I love you too, sweetheart," Samar said, winking at her. He always knew what was on her mind.
