Maybe Ever After

Nova's POV

High school was not exactly bad for me, it was the best days of my life, well, after I met him.

I used to be a regular high school girl, went to parties, shopping on the weekend, and sometimes sleep over at friends.

I did well in my studies, made mom proud and dad proud, until dad had to die of leukemia, I was just in my sophomore years. That was when I met him.

He made me feel alive once again, made me realize I could be happy, he always told me not to think of my dad as a missing part.

“He lives in you” was exactly his usual statement. I was only happy after he came into my life.

What do you say about high school love? Happily ever after? Hahaha, funny!

Do you think a girl and a boy will fall in love at 17 and spend the rest of their lives together? Bullshit!

What happens to all the love? Your prom date?

Those were our vulnerable days, we want to explore, meet new people, try new things, not everyone marries their high school sweetheart, well except the lucky ones.

Graduating from high school is just After!

Jordan's POV

I loved and still love her but college did things to me, the distance was the start, but we talked like every day, until the wild parties, the crazy friends, drugs and the girls, Nova and I started drifting.

She came to visit me and the rest was just After!

After!

After high school

After College.
