It was getting really serious now. He's anger, the way he talked, and paced around my room before doing that.

What was he trying to seduce me? Did he think seducing me would make me like him as much as I cared about Jayden? Well technically I was just concerned about Jayden, but still. I didn't expect things to get messy so fast.

I was overly worried, and didn't know what else to say, only to lay on my bed all day as my thoughts drifted towards Jayden.

This was the second day, and I knew that I couldn't leave the house. Well, Luciver actually made sure of that. He made sure that I was always locked up, and watched like a kid until I learnt how to behave.

“You really shouldn't be thinking about Jayden so much, you need to understand that you now have a mate?" My wolf explained, but I rolled my eyes.

My palms covered my face as I groaned before I explained to my wolf what was at stake.

“I don't care if he's my mate. He doesn't want me for the reason we are all thinking. He wants me for what Jayden told me."

My wolf rolled her eyes. “Don't tell me you want to believe him? He looks shady, and doesn't seem like the same person he was before. Besides, there's definitely something about him, don't you see it.”

I sighed, pulling my palms away from my face as I stared at the ceiling. “I wish I could do the whole thing. There's something you need to see, don't you see it…."

I shook my head. “The only thing I see here is someone's lying, and it's definitely not Jayden. Jayden and I have been friends for who knows how long, I don't want to believe he would lie to me, don't you see?"

She sighed as well. “Well this is complicated. First, you want to trust the one you shouldn't, and then you should know that Jayden is the one we know.”

She sighed again, and I immediately sat up on the bed. My face turned red because I recalled what Luciver did to me.

My heart skipped a beat, and I found it pounding faster. “What is this I am feeling? I don't know how to control it, but I know there's something involved.”

Silence remained, and I didn't know what else to do. I found it so hot that I had to stand up, and rush into the bathroom.

I washed my face, and exhaled, and came out to meet Olive in the room.

She had her head lowered, and when she noticed I was staring at her, she raised her eyes to see the expression on my face.

“What are you doing here?" I was shocked. I knew she was the one who alerted the alpha of my little move, and then she also made him panic, and now, she was here? I didn't want to see her.

"I am sorry…” her words came soft, and broken. She didn't know what else to say, so she lowered her head. However, I crossed my hands over my chest, and stared at her with anger in my eyes.

“You really shouldn't do this. I know you are loyal to the alpha so why come back to beg me hmm? You can't keep your mouth shut, and you want me to believe that you can be so close to me?”

I didn't say a thing after that. In fact, I was overly calm, and quiet, and watched how she tried to speak, but words failed her at the moment.

"Go, I'll find another maid, or I'll probably be alone because I don't trust you all, and you know why, because all you do is to be loyal. You don't trust me.”

She shook her head. "That's not true. I trust you, I trust you so much, but I was scared something bad might have happened to you. I genuinely searched for you before I rushed to the alpha, but you can't blame me, I was in a state of panic, and didn't know what to do.”

“Well, I'm sorry, but that's what kept me in this kind of situation. Now I am in prison, and I don't know what to say about it. I have tried my best to make things easier, but it doesn't seem that way. Keeping you around is dangerous for me."

I said, and walked back to the bed, sitting, and sighing at the same time. She didn't know how angry I was with her.

Her next move made me stand up instantly. She rushed towards me, and fell on the ground, holding my legs, and I wasn't expecting it.

"Hey, what are you doing? Let go, let go!” I yelled, and she pulled away, but the sad look in her eyes was something i didn't understand.

“I know you're doing this so you can come close to me just to be giving the alpha more information about me, but I will not fall for that, do you understand me? I have a lot of things I'm actually into that I wouldn't have to do all this with you. I have a great life ahead, and the sooner you begin to see it, the better for you."

She sighed. “I swear, I am not on the alpha side, I am on your side, and your side alone, just give me a chance to prove it.”

"Really? A chance to keep it huh? Can you keep a secret?” I asked, and she nodded helplessly, trying so hard to earn my favour, and I couldn't really tell why.

She nodded. “I can, believe me. Your secret is safe with me.”

She tried her best to be convincing enough, and I rolled my eyes.

My expression immediately turned dark, and I turned my face away from her, playing with my fingers. "Fine. I'll tell you what you need to hear, but if I hear it from anyone else, I'll make sure you're killed. Trust me.”

Her eyes widened, and her lip pressed into a thin line. It was obvious she hadn't seen this side of me before.

“Alright ma'am talk to me about it."
