Chapter 29 You're in trouble

Chapter 29 You're in trouble
Elsie’s Pov
My heart started racing aggressively, out of fear or excitement, I couldn’t tell but as Tyler’s hand shot out to grab my wrist, I shuddered.
Surprisingly, before he could, Tristan swerved on his feet around me and pulled my body flush against his. My back collided with his warm chest hardened with training.
A gasp escaped my lips before I could control it. His touch against my skin felt like sparks meeting to create an uproar of flames. It was overwhelming. My vision started to blur and I felt woozy.
“Don’t,” Tristan warned his brother, “Not like this.”
His deep voice reverberated through my back sending waves of pleasure down my thighs.
Tyler froze in motion. His chest heaved as his eyes flashed a wild black. I was sure that with his sharp wolf sense, he could smell my heat pooling.
Tristan firmly gripped my waist, holding me against him still. “Enough,” he voiced deeper. He sounded more primal as he admitted, “You’ve proven your point.”
“No,” I barely let out as my energy continued to fizzle out faster in the haze of the heat. I pushed my weight against him, holding his arm as my ass brushed the hard presence in his pants.
His breath stuttered. “This isn’t the time to be stubborn. You're threading on very thin ice”
I heard Topher exhale shakily. I raised my head his way just as his shoulders drooped slightly. The tension was bleeding out of him as his eyes met mine with something soft.
“Please,” Topher uttered quietly like the word itself had found its rightful place on his tongue and he only wanted me to hear it. “Please stop.”
My heart missed a beat in its rapid pace, and my insides throbbed with wanting.
One down.
I felt Tristan stir behind me before his forehead dropped against my shoulder. I didn't feel the weight of his head and even as his hand around my waist pulled taut with desperation, it didn't hurt this time.
Gently, he whispered, “Please, Elsie.”
I reached my shaky hand out for Tyler, the hard-headed one who would rather burn the world than admit defeat. I hoped it would be enough to break him softly.
Before I could touch him, he snatched my wrist and placed himself in front of me to dip his head to my other free shoulder.
Out of the blue, a tongue glided on the skin of my neck. I had truly won. There was no going back from that.
I let out a sigh of relief as the last thread of my resistance snapped. I had been holding back since the idea crossed my mind. I gambled on how far I could reach my limits before they snapped. Thankfully, it paid off.
Tyler’s grip on my wrist softened for the first time since I had known him, and he didn’t let go. His forehead pressed deeper into my shoulder. His uneven breath fanned my skin.
Maybe it was because of how close we were but I could feel him losing himself and accepting it. He was finally losing.
“Don’t gloat,” he suddenly muttered. His lips brushed against my skin and it took everything left out of me not to moan. Goddamn heat!
“I won’t,” I defended myself even if the satisfaction humming in my chest betrayed me. I deserved to gloat. It was not every day you went from being treated like nothing to bending three Alphas to your horny hazed will.
Tristan perked up behind me and his member pressed harder into my bottom. His grip loosened around my waist but his fingers still flexed against my skin.
Topher made his move next. Oh, sweet boy.
He approached as though encountering something fragile. Looking into his eyes, I could clearly see the caution. The same akin to fear like I might disappear if he reached for me too fast.
“Look at you,” he said to me yet he was doing all the looking. His hand brushed my cheek before he settled to hold it.
I didn’t have the strength to make a remark or point out the strangeness of the situation. The backlash of pushing my limits had finally caught up to me.
But wasn't it funny? I thought violence was all they knew yet here they were wearing gentleness like men handling something they actually loved. But I knew deep down. They didn’t love me. It was the bond doing all the work. They had simply given in.
My body suddenly felt heavy. Every nerve hummed with awareness of them. My wolf was frantically pushing for more of their touch. That was what I got for allowing all three of them to surround my nude body like this.
We were all seemingly giving in to something we’d been dancing around for too long. Now my wolf didn't want to wait any longer.
Tyler’s nose slowly dragged along the nape of my neck. He took a whiff of my scent possessively as though he needed to memorize me at the very moment. “You’re in trouble,” he teased.
“The good kind of trouble this time, right?” I asked just in case. The agreement did insist on respecting me but they could still punish me. I was still a subject in their pack.
Tristan’s chest suddenly rumbled. Before I knew it, a sound that was dangerously close to a laugh rang through my ears. What was so funny? He rarely laughed so what tickled his fancy now?
His lips brushed just beneath my ear. The touch was barely there, but it sent a sharp tremor down my spine.
“You have no idea what you’ve started,” he snarled in my ear.
I purred unconsciously and that was the first evidence of my heat winning against my will.
“Ugh!” My knees buckled and down I went. The room tilted sideways. I was falling.
Their voices blurred together as they simultaneously called out to me. “Elsie!”
Who said my name first?
Hands caught me before I could meet the carpeted floors of Tristan’s pristine bedroom. I felt a pull at my waist, another at my arm, and one cradling the back of my head.
It was gentle and careful. Suspiciously careful for men who had looked at me like they wanted to devour me moments ago.
“That’s it,” Topher’s voice stood out first. “She’s done.”
“I’ve got her,” Tristan replied, already shifting me against him. He lifted me effortlessly.
My consciousness slipped through my fingers like water. When my head found Tristan’s chest, I gave in to the rapid rhythm of his heartbeat. It was the only thing anchoring me before everything slipped away completely.
