Ivy's POV

I wore a tight dress because I knew who I was going to meet and why I was going there. I walked into the office and stood behind the door.

"He said you can go in," I heard her say.

I smiled as I walked into the room and met his eyes all over me. He seemed to be excited to see me and it was bliss seeing him as well. Not in the manner you think of it, but because I was going there to convince him over something, that was why I was excited.

I stepped into his office and looked around the place, it was filled with books, awards and other office equipment. It was none of my business, I just wanted to get things straight with him.

" You have been frequent in my face for a while now, and even the way you dress has improved as well, is there something I should be expecting?" He asked me.
I could see the smiles on his face.

He should be expecting a lot from me and I am going to make sure he falls into my trap and what I want from him.

" I am just here to speak with you" I drew out the chair and sat down, even before he asked me to sit.

He ran his eyes all over me like I was in some art gallery. Then he scoffed, I know he has never seen me this serious about a thing but here I was, ready to talk about it.

We have always had quiet conversations, but I did not think it was what I needed right now. I wanted to make sure he sees a different side of me.

" What do you want to talk about?" He asked me, his eyes were not leaving me.
They were specifically resting on my breast. I saw it countless times but refused to say anything about it. I wanted his eyes to be there while we talked about what brought me here.

" We haven't really had a good conversation about what happened and what you did to me. Do not think that I am ever going to forget about what happened and move on with my life like it was nothing" I said to him.

He adjusted on his chair, I knew he did not see that conversation coming and he probably was not expecting us to have it.
" What do you want me to say about that? It happened already and you still found your way to the family. You went ahead and got hold of my brother, I do not know what you were thinking when you did that" he said.

He was trying to push it on me when it was very clear that it was his brother that stepped in. I thought I had found an angel who rescued me from his cruelty but I was wrong. Anderson only stepped in because he was using me to fulfill his ambition.

" Your brother used me and you know this. I wonder if you ever loved any woman enough to marry her for yourself or because you wanted to get your father's approval, same as your brother" I said.

I saw the way his face changed and I loved it. It made me know that my words were working on him and it was the most beautiful feeling ever.

" That has got nothing to do with you. You do not come from such a family, how then would you understand it?" He said.

Right, he was right, my father was poor, how would I understand it?

" And you did not bother to do that before the day of the wedding and save me the embarrassment?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

I find that offensive, I do not care what it was that stopped him, it was offensive for me and I won't tolerate it.

" Lily asked me to do that, she said it was the perfect time to let you know about it. I was going to tell you, but she insisted that there won't be any need for it" he said.

He spoke in a soft tone like he was sorry about what had happened but I was way too sure that he was nothing close to being sorry.

And Lily to have wanted the revelation to be on my wedding day was not a surprise to me. I knew she had always wanted me to be embarrassed, and she would make sure it happened the way she had planned it.

" Do you still want her back?" I asked him.
" Who are you talking about?" He asked me.
I know he knew who I was talking about, he just wanted me to spell it out for him and I was going to do that.

" I am talking about your dear lily, I want to know if she is still coming back into your life, and probably coming back to the house" I flipped my hair backwards as I stared into his eyes.
" I have no plans on bringing her here. She should remain where she is, I do not need her any longer" he said.

I noticed that he still had his eyes on me and was refusing to let it go.
" Who then are you going to be with? I know you too well and you never lack who to be with, I just want to know" I said, acting like I cared one bit about his wellbeing.

" Sounds like something you would want to get involved with, was that why you had your face all glammed up and had to wear such a revealing dress? I knew you had nothing for my brother and you were just saving your face" he said.

He took his lips in as he smiled at me. I smiled back as well.
" Well, you may be right about that. Lily is out of the way now, what can I say?" I smiled even more.
I was sure he got my message as he stood up and came closer to me.
